The Originals Boutique, Hôtel la Ferme du Pape, Eguisheim

"The buildings, rooms, and courtyards are incredibly beautiful, but the parking entrance is quite difficult to find. I recommend walking through the hotel first, then having a companion walk to the curb near the exit to wait. The elevator corridor is a bit dark, so except for picking up our suitcases, we walked up the warm wooden stairs. Eguisheim is incredibly beautiful. We wandered around day, afternoon, evening, and early morning. We bought freshly baked bread and local meats early in the morning and reluctantly left the town."

Hameau d'Eguisheim

"We stayed in the two bedroom Gite which was right at the top of the building. We had an open planned lounge, diner and kitchen. There was a bathroom with a bath tub and shower in the bath tub. The apartment was decorated really nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of space for the family of 4. The communal guest area also had a washer and dryer - if you needed to do laundry, an honesty bar with soft drinks, water and beers and wine, coffee making facilities etc. There were a few tables and chairs on the terrace to enjoy the Summer weather with your drinks. Which I thought was great. The breakfasts were good - mostly continental style with eggs to order. The B&B is located in Eguisheim which is a charming village and the inspiration behind the animators at Beauty And the Beast as Belle's village. I can see why as it is full of charm. The B&B also has a wine tasting room attached and we can recommend doing that. The wine is tasty."

Hôtel l'Auberge Alsacienne

"We spent a few days at Auberge. A perfect hotel in a perfect village. The rooms are clean, very well designed, and the bathrooms are very comfortable. Breakfast offers a variety of items, including many local choices. The owners and staff are very helpful, making you feel welcomed. The village itself is a gem: while very busy in July, it still lets you unwind and enjoy it. A very easy and short route to Colmar, and a train ride from Colmar to Strasbourg . The wine route and the villages close by are absolutely worth seeing."

"A lovely charming hotel. Our room overlooked the square, beautiful. Excellent welcome and room was very big and comfortable. We found it a great spot for walking around exploring town and streets. Owner was tres sympa! We parked nearby with 4euro ticket from hotel. Highly recommend!"
