"This hotel is about a 6-minute walk from Takefu Station (20 minutes on the Hapi Line from Fukui Station). There's no convenience store on the way to the hotel, so you'll need to shop at Heiwado (open until 8:00 PM) on the right-hand side after exiting the station. There aren't many restaurants of note, so I used Akiyoshi (a yakitori restaurant) in front of the station before heading to the hotel. The front desk was as friendly as ever, and I immediately had a drink at the welcome bar, a Super Hotel specialty! I entered my room using a PIN code. The room was small, but it offered a simple, wide bed with a choice of pillows, and the amenities and in-room facilities were generally good. The large public bath was small but comfortable. Breakfast was free, but it was of a high standard and quite delicious. There were no check-out procedures. This hotel offered excellent service and value for money."
