The welcome was friendly, attentive and efficient"

"Main reason to stay here is the restaurant - reviewed separately - which was astounding. Staff were very nice and the hotel is in a lovely spot. Our room was pleasant although somewhat dated, especially the bathroom. We went to the pool at the sister hotel, having initially tried the Mediterranean garden with freshwater pool which felt a bit unloved and wasn’t tempting as a place to relax in the heat. Didn’t try breakfast as we were still quite full from dinner. Would definitely return but mainly for the restaurant."

Housekeeping was daily and thorough. The staff are top notch - friendly, helpful with 5 star service. Daily breakfast is over the top, a big buffet with so many choices and all fresh. Location also great, 15 minute walk into the village of Grignan with restaurants, shops and the castle with so much history from the middle ages. Onsite parking was easy and convenient. Highly recommend. We will definately return. "

This hotel and its gardens are kept carefully and make this place a peacekeeper where we will return."
