"I used Hilton's a lot on business in the past & Dover lived up to my high expectations. Booked 3 twin rooms for 3 nights for a reunion. Very happy with our stay & will book again. Friendly, attentive staff. Spotlessly clean rooms & bathrooms. Some of the comfiest beds we've slept in. A few issues with (cold) breakfast (resolved) & a great selection. Some of our party enjoyed the sauna. One downside - the single lift is very small & slow creating a bottleneck."

"Spent one night at the Hubert Guesthouse before catching our ferry the next morning, we were made to feel very welcome. The room was beautiful and spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities. We had to leave early the next morning so would miss breakfast, so the landlady made sure we had cereal in our room and did us a pack up of egg and bacon sandwich, which we were very grateful for - thank you! We would definitely book this guesthouse again"

"Booked for 1 night to break up our trip back from abroad. The receptionist was instantly so welcoming. As we didn't have breakfast booked and I had two young children with me, she gave me some porridge pots and oat bars so they could eat in the morning before we left. I didn't even ask, she just offered. She told us the Beefeater restaurant next door was fully booked but my husband went over to see if their had been a cancellation or anything. The waitress saw we had tired young children with us and managed to squeeze us in a table as she said she was a mum herself and knew how difficult it can be when travelling with children. The food was fine, nice atmosphere. But the welcoming atmosphere we felt from the staff was just great. Thank you all. Room comfortable and clean. Nothing special but perfect for what we needed. Great place to stop to rest."

"My wife and I stayed at the Park Inn Dover. A once pub and now a boutique hotel. Very newly transformed business it is still going through the usual teething phase with lift not working, this will no doubt be sorted very quickly. However the place was clean and well appointed, staff were very helpful and the location is only approximately a hundred meters off the Dover high street. Easy walking distance to food and drink outlets. Prices are very reasonable."

"Hubert House was great. We were 2 adults and 2 kids in one room. There was ample space. The room had a couch, chair, fridge and desk area. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. The woman managing the house, Farrah, is amazing. We payed for laundry service, dropped off our clothes and left for the day. When we came back, she had all of our things cleaned and sorted. We came in late drenched from the rain. She handed us another bag for wet clothes and then washed and dried those. She left us snacks and breakfast since we were packing out the next day. It was one of my favorite stops in England."

"We had an emergency cancellation from our reserved housing the night before our cruise. Being panicked to find a large group a place to stay, these folks took care of us. They helped store our luggage for an early arrival ( for a charge) and made sure we had reliable transportation to the pier the next day. The rooms were very clean but there were a few issues with hot water which they addressed immediately. The location was very convenient to get to the Dover Castle, the Cliffs of Dover, and the cruise ship pier. But my biggest compliment goes to their compassion and kindness as we were left in a difficult situation. I will stay here again, given the opportunity to travel to Dover again!"
