"Beautiful old manor house with adjoining buildings for bedrooms. Very comfortable bedrooms and excellent breakfast. Friendly , helpful staff. Beautiful grounds to walk around and very good gym and pool. Excellent value for the quality on offer"

"I'm only pressing medium as I stayed in this hotel YEARS ago,it was ok but a bit worn. Arrangement prev'ly was leaving my car parked for 4-5 days but needed to be at airport at crack of dawn and caught their 4am shuttle. Needed same thing when I booked this time, needed their shuttle. Messaged them along with booking, qouted when I needed to be at LGW early, they failed to tell me the shuttle no longer existed. Duh. Only way to access place was by taxi, I loathe taxis and was quoted an excessive fare more than room cost! Disgusted. Even if I'd parked there how was I to get to airport??? No mention anywhere in booking pages. Total ******. Don't they read messages?? Certainly going to claim refund."

"Great location to dorking, Tesco express next door and parking available. Two night visit, rather surprised that free internet is not available but friendly and helpful lady on reception gave me her phone to complete the reservation. Next day reception lady again was very friendly. No complaints from me but suggestions: free Wi-Fi, drinking glasses in room, change bath to a good size walk in shower. Ummm would suggest a carpet deep clean. Staff doing a great job and need some back up improvements from head office."

"The location is beautiful you forget how close you are to London, having box hill right at your back door is amazing the views are so stunning that I got up at 4am to watch the sunrise! Sadly I had a horrible experience the last night and got no sleep due to children or immature adults making noise until about 3:30 and I couldn’t find any staff, tried contacting online but to no luck, and am annoyed that there was no resolution or response… Other than that though the staff were very kind and the rooms were perfectly clean enough depending on your standards, there was only one stain on the carpet which was dry and had no odour so I didn’t mind at all, the only picture I have is the mess I made on the bed aha but as you can see it is spacious and clean It had everything I needed,especially a large safe, a fridge, cupboard, wardrobe with lots of space to hang up and fold clothing with an iron board. A hairdryer, kettle mugs and glasses, plenty of teas and biscuits, only thing missing I guess was a Microwave. It also had a large tv but I did not use It had a great bathroom with plenty of soap and body lotion, a heatable towel holder, fast heating shower/bath, with a mini shower head connected to the tap which was super helpful for cleaning my feet after a long day of walking in the heat! It even had a shower net but I brought my own so didn’t use. TLDR: For the price it was more than enough and I would give it 10/10 if it wasn’t for the unfortunate experience but I can’t complain that much when i got to spend a small amount of time away from the city in such a beautiful place"
