Hotel Ispinigoli ★★★
"We stayed from 04/ to 16 August in this property located in a panoramic position near the famous Ispinigoli cave. Our experience was more than positive starting from the abundant breakfast, with a wide choice of both sweet and savory products at K.m 0 served on a panoramic terrace from which to enjoy a fantastic view of both the lush Mediterranean scrub and the Gulf of Orosei. On the same terrace in the evening we dined with excellent traditional Sardinian cuisine, of a high quality level, we tried the whole menu and we did not find a dish to not recommend. The hotel is family run where availability, kindness and courtesy are the masters. A special note must be dedicated to Mr. Pietro, a person who we could define as out of the ordinary, a truly exquisite person. To conclude with a few minutes by car you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Orosei. Highly recommended."
I Ginepri Hotel ★★★★
"Beautiful resort with an extreme friendly staff....rooms are renewed and comfortable. Sea vieuw from a large balcony. Comfy beds and stable Wifi...water presure shower excellent."
Hotel Villa Gustui Maris ★★★
"Too many words are not needed to describe the Hotel Villa Gustui Maris in Cala Gonone. The hotel is immersed in a splendid and well-kept garden with swimming pool and solarium. But the real gem is the terrace overlooking Cala Gonone from above with breathtaking views of Cala Luna, Cala Biriola and Cala Mariolu. My opinion: cleanliness of rooms: excellent breakfast: excellent staff: helpful and courteous A particular appreciation towards Paola, head receptionist, equipped with problem solving, soft skills and great competence. Chapeau!!"
Ecoparco Neulè ★★★
"Stayed for two nights in a room which has access to a shared kitchen . Fantastic situation for scenery and relaxation. No evening food available but a supermarket in Dorgali approx 10 min drive provided food and drink to enjoy at the dining area overlooking the lake and mountain views. Breakfast is excellent so much choice. We walked around the site and hired kayaks, approx 35 euro per person and a steep walk down to the lake. Not much to see on the lake but peaceful and cool. Lots of farm animals to see on the parc. The drive to the main road is slow and bumpy but no real problem. Staff were very helpful and there is beer and ice cream available at the lodge bar. I would stay here again ."
Margaida Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"Lovely and modern hotel very close to the sea front with all the shops and restaurants. No parking specific to the hotel but we were fortunate to find one close-by the front entrance on the narrow street. Seems like lots of wasted space on the top floor with only 2 rooms and lots of open balcony space not associated with a room. Great bathroom! Nice views out to the sea a block away. Liked the breakfast buffet very much and the cooked-to-order eggs option. All the receptionists were very friendly and most helpful."
Hotiday Cala Gonone
Hotel Brancamaria ★★★★
"This was our second time staying here- we loved it just as much as the first, the hotel is super clean and the food was delicious! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and Cala Gonone is simply stunning. We will be back!"
Il Nuovo Gabbiano ★★★
"We had a great time, the welcome was friendly, the location was excellent, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Ristorante la Conchiglia ★★★★
"To be honest: More than a 4 stars is a 3+ stars Hotel. Positive aspects: location and the possibility to use the private parking but at a very reasonable additional charge. We also appreciated the laundry service at a very reasonable price as well. On the other hand, we had aunts in the room and when we arrived the patio furniture had not been cleaned. In addition, we found "tacky" for a 4 stars hotel, to post, in the breakfast room, a sign saying "Do not take out food otherwise you will be charged". In fact he staff at the breakfast, more than being useful, seemed to be there only to monitor you. In fact we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar (like fresh made cappuccino or coffee) or if they could help with anything, no one word, they were just standing and looking at us. Conclusion: Great location, average hotel, just do not expect a 4 stars level hotel or a white gloves treatment. "

Club Esse Palmasera
"The room is old with smallest shower I have ever seen in a hotel. No wifi in the rooms, only at the reception. You pau euros per day for parking and 30 euros for 2 bed and an umbrellas to use at the beach as well as 30 euro refundable deposit for the beach towels and 3 euro for each towel. The resort is quite a walk so not recommended for elderly especially if you want to go down to the beach. Breakfast is awful and limited choices. Just cakes and pastries. The resort have shows every night but you all in Italian language."
Palazzo Cherchi
"We booked this accommodation for 2 nights and stayed for 4 weeks we loved it so much. A beautifully restored home in the centre of Dorgali close to all amenities. It has a palatial feel but with all mod cons. We particularly loved watching the swallows from the lovely roof terrace in the evening - magical ! Best breakfast we had in Sardinia and Franca was a delight couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely return."
Turismo Rurale Belvedere Pradonos
"Don't be fooled by the name 'Belvédère'; this accommodation is actually located at the bottom of a valley. The reception was poor; there was no hot water upon our arrival, and we truly felt like we were bothering the staff whenever we asked for information. The room was small and damp, and the hairdryer didn't work. The breakfast was disappointing and clearly mass-produced. Despite being advertised on their website, there were no dining facilities on site. This is absolutely not an agritourism experience."
Palazzo Santa Caterina
"Very nice palace Very clean clean rooms large and clean personal very gentle breakfast abundant unique sin that you can't sleep because there's too much noise seems to be sleeping out on the street owners should provide for isoler rooms ...Sorry if not I had given excellent but not sleep is not well because one pays for relaxing on holiday"
Hotel Resort Nuraghe Arvu
"Wonderful place and the most friendly staff - especially Davide. And not to mentuon the Abba-fan-driver Mario. My two daughters 14 + 17 years loved the large pool and the mountain-view 🙂"
Hotel Cala Luna
"Excellent location on the seafront and convenient paid parking. The staff were very friendly. However, at least our room without a balcony was not something you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. It's probably best not to offer this option to guests so as not to disappoint them. The room's only window overlooks a restaurant kitchen, and from the first morning, it's impossible to keep it open due to the smoke coming from the fireplace and the smell. Breakfast was a bit poor for a 4-star hotel. The price was excellent, but I would have preferred to pay more if I'd known about the room's condition. We'd like to point out that, even reading the thank-you book at reception, many people were extremely satisfied, including with the sea view the hotel offers. The problem was our room, which was absolutely unsuitable for a 4-star hotel."
Costa Dorada
"The lady who greeted us (I guessed she was the owner) was extremely unfriendly. Because I forgot to select "having a child" when booking the hotel, she looked unhappy and said there were three of us. I explained that I hadn't noticed this requirement when booking, and that we could share a bed with the child and pay extra. I had already offered to pay for the child, but she still looked reluctant, muttering, "Of course you can share one bed with your kid..." I asked her how we could check in, and she charged me 135 euros. She kept looking unhappy and muttering throughout the entire visit, but when a foreigner next to her asked her a question, she turned around and greeted them with a smile. I suspect she has a prejudice against Chinese people. 3000 RMB per night, zero service, and a consistently unfriendly attitude. When checking out, I asked her where to catch the bus back to the airport (there's only one bus from town back to Olbja, running four times a day). She actually said she didn't know, which was unbelievable! How could a hotel owner not know such important travel information? Fine, if she didn't know, she didn't know, but she kept muttering that there were only two stops… After checking out, we strolled along the beach for a while and sat on some lounge chairs and parasols with the hotel's name on them. She then told us that we needed to make a reservation to sit there, specifically emphasizing that we could continue sitting there now but we would need to pay. I told her I was leaving Calagone soon, and she still had a long face, standing there staring at us with a discriminatory expression. So I don't know if the parasols are charged for all hotel guests or what. In short, a very unpleasant experience. I suggest Ctrip remove this hotel from its Chinese website."
Hotel Pop
"Hotel Pop is a charming boutique hotel in Cala Gonone that I can definitely recommend. It is not the top standard and quality but decent typical for Sardinia .The staff are very pleasant and provide proper, attentive service, which makes the stay comfortable and welcoming. Rooms are clean and well maintained, and while the breakfast selection is small, it is decent and good quality. The location is perfect – just steps away from the marina, with easy access to boat trips, restaurants, and all the main tourist attractions. The rooms are reasonably priced, offering good value for money. The only downside is the hotel’s restaurant, which feels a bit overpriced compared to other options nearby. Overall, though, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy Cala Gonone in comfort and convenience."
