"DON'T GET A ROOM HERE!!!!!! This place is very nasty. This place makes the Bate's Motel look like Ritz. I got the room online and it was not like the picture. The room was very dirty bed had a mattress cover no sheets no pillow no towels and the shower only had hot water, with all that said I slept in my car for the night and got a room somewhere else. before I left, I tried to get a refund for the rest of the nights it was not refundable. I was out of money, and I had to relocate 30 miles. SMH"

"We booked this motel on a whim it was getting late and we were heading to all the springs in the area the next day. There is nothing in this area. The Google reviews were decent enough so we went with it. First, just let me say if you’re not tech, friendly and elderly person nor have a smart phone you will not be able to make a reservation book or check in. After Colleen, the number, she made me go online and make a reservation. Then once I got there, I had to enter all of the information drivers license, credit card number, etc. via text. Then once everything was settled, and of course payment was made of $208 for one night, we got a code to get into our room. Apparently the office is under construction well there was no office that was seen and there was no person. However, a nice man came by after we pulled up and gave us the information of what we needed, but he was not the office or front desk. If you want food snacks, you better get it before you get there because none of this is available. This is not a marina. It is a property that is on the river. That has a very nice dock that have kayaks. That’s it. None of the pictures on here are what it looks like today. It needs a lot of work. The yard has not been mowed, which is a lot of grass and quite some time. Now to get to the room if you want just somewhere to lay your head for the night that’s all you’re getting. There were four dead bugs in the room two were quite huge, but I guess at least they were dead and not crawling on us the floor, which was not carpet, had my socks looked like they had been walking in the road. The room we stayed in which had a nice little balcony but they are all ground floor so there basically a back porch, needed a lot of attention, the baseboards, the floor, the nooks and crannies and the things that you can see need a lot of cleaning and have a lot of attention. I can’t speak for it in the other rooms I only stayed in one. I’m sure at one time this was really a nice place and it can be again. It just needs a lot of little attention to detail, but for the price it was definitely not worth it"

Carriage Inn Motel ★★

"Truely the worst room I've even had the displeasure of staying in. Avoid the "party room" at all costs. There were crusty spots all over the carpet, the room stank the air conditioner (window unit) was on its last leg. How this place has 4 stars is beyond me. It's wretched. "
