"The doorman gave us a frosty reception after 7 pm. We had to wait until our second call for him to open the door... and he refused to help us put our heavy suitcases on the trolley, responding with, "I don't touch guests' luggage!" The next morning, the receptionists were just as unpleasant after our complaint. One receptionist even followed us into the lobby, shouting at us... it's unbelievable for a place dedicated to well-being. We won't be returning to this gloomy hotel in the evening, because of the reception and the rooms, which are like a hospital, only worse (metal furniture, outdated bathroom, a kitchenette but no dish towels or dish soap)."

We were delighted to stay here last night, the owner accepted us most graciously when we showed up early for check in, he accommodated our bikes in his secure side garden, and he made us a delicious breakfast of fresh baguette, croissants and artisanal jams. Great value, nice experience. I liked the antiques and the bed linens!"

"Lovely old style hotel with amazing views over the city. Huge lobby and beautiful decor throughout including corridors and rooms. The downsides were that the plumbing was very noisy even late at night and there was no car park (which is expected for a 4* hotel). They told me to go find a city car park. Apart from this, a wonderful place to stay."

"We have been a great stay here in the Dax's Thermes and Grace has a super organization coordinated by Christelle (Kiki?) - We have exchanged via email from Washington DC or I live and she has been too well coordinated! My parents (father 86 in deambulator and mother 78 years old) and my brother with disability (with a brain tumour) who live in Toulouse and I from the Atlantic. Kiki and Jocelyn and the others were at the top of the situation: really hat! We paid a card because we did not do the program along the curists (12 to 19 days), we chose massages, bath a terebenthine, pool mobilization (to not miss! The hotel is a very good place to stay in the hotel. Thanks Kiki and the whole team of the Dax Thermes and the professional team."

"If you appreciate places where every object/detail tells a story, a real family home, then run to La Croix Blanche in Dax! The free wi-fi works very well. Fortunately, there is no TV screen that would affect the decor, which is unique to each room. The bed is comfortable, the pillows and duck feather duvets, a real treat. The coffee table offers not only coffee, but also tea and herbal tea. The shower products from a small local producer smell wonderful. The breakfast, in a friendly atmosphere, is delicious and hearty . It is a pleasure sit around the big table and learn about the history of Dax and the region. Homemade yogurts and compotes are a bonus not to be missed. It is a place full of charm where you feel good and where you have only one desire, it’s to return!"
