Hotel Azul de la Plaza by Chat Noir ★★★
"A sweet deal for $25/night in mid July 2026. Great customer service, good location, and some of the staff speak English. The rooms were mostly comfortable even for a tall person. Decent hot water and pressure in the showers (but slow and sometimes clogged drainage), televisions in the rooms that don't work as intended, reliable wifi albeit slow, nice views from the windows, free coffee water and tea, broken/malfunctioning lamps and lights in the rooms. The hotel sits on one end of a public square with just about everything you'd need on a daily basis within walking distance."
Oro Verde Cuenca ★★★★
"The entire hotel is non-smoking and clean"
Casa de las Rosas ★★★
"Our stay at La Casa de las Rosas was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and every corner of the place feels warm and inviting. You can tell there's a lot of care behind everything they do. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cuenca. A peaceful, charming experience that we’d love to repeat. Thank you for making our stay so special!"
Santa Lucia House - Forum ★★★★
"Great experience. Very professional staffs and smile on face.."
Mansion Alcazar ★★★★
"The overall environment of the hotel is quite good. But the room was very small and very forced, there was no air conditioning, it was cold, and I lived on the second floor 4 times in the morning and evening to try to take a bath, but there was hot water once. The room can be said to have no sound insulation, Wifi is not so easy to use, often stuck and disconnected. Although the decoration looks good, the facilities experience is not very good, just so-so, the overall experience is generally biased."
Hotel Boutique Santa Lucia ★★★★
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable with a small attention that makes you enjoy. The hotel is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel makes it easy to visit the city centre walking."
Morenica del Rosario ★★★
SÁNCHEZ Hotel & Spa by Chat Noir ★★★
Hotel El Conquistador ★★★★
"Great location staff and breakfast, would stay there again."

El Dorado Hotel
"Very close to the central square and the cathedral, go out and turn left for about a few minutes to walk, downstairs is the tram, there is a supermarket next door on the right hand side. Every time you come to Cuenca, you must live, the scenery outside the window is beautiful"
Naturhotel
Hosteria Duran
"Excellent! They are clearly committed to customer care. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and cared for, the food was worthy of a five star restaurant. The only downside is that they do not have an elevator."
Four Points by Sheraton Cuenca
"Very good, clean and tidy, good service attitude"
TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir
"The price is very expensive and the breakfast is average, not worth the price"
Hotel Valgus
"Horrible. I wish I could sue them. This place is theft. Take your money and flush it. Loud noise all night. If I could give minus points I would give a minus 10 And frankly no one here gives a damn."
Hotel Boutique Los Balcones
"Funky unique boutique hotel filled with fabulous art , fixtures. The rooms are clean spacious that are antique with modern amenities. Owner and staff are friendly helpful with decent English skills. Breakfast on the rooftop exceeded expectations. Location is central , four blocks from main square. Full bar. All in all would highly recommend for any length of stay"
Hotel Casa San Rafael
"Hotel Casa San Rafael is a beautiful hotel with excellent and attentive staff. The hotel is very secure, rooms are very clean and decorated very nicely. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Beds were a bit firm for me but I got used to it after a few nights. As we were in a room that faced the street it was somewhat noisy. The constant chirp from the cross walk light woke me several times. The floors are beautiful old wood, but creaky. the breakfast was delicious and every morning hot eggs of some sort were served with bread, fruit, fresh juice and tea/coffee. Having never been to Cuenca, I was a bit worried about safety and it was also Carnival weekend. We never felt unsafe at all and our balcony overlooked the parade! There were many restaurants, cafes, stores, banks, pharmacies and attractions within a few minutes walking distance. It was a wonderful week in Cuenca and I would stay there again."
Hotel Vaway
Rioné Hotel Boutique
"The staff was professional and caring. The room was clean. And worth the value. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is not a five star hotel, but it certainly is a five star service"
Hotel Nass Pinar del Lago
Hotel Raymipampa
"The city of Bairica is a living city, in a long-lasting party to discover gradually. What surprises is the tranquility of the inmates. In this recently renovated old house, everything is quiet. The rooms are not large, but have all the comforts they need. The common spaces are viable and allow reading on a discrete musical background. The location is strategic to reach the center walking in a few minutes."
Nass Central Garden
Hotel Santiago de Compostella Suites
"It's a hotel located in a good area, across from Supermaxi, and 10 minutes from the airport. I recommend it; I liked the service. The service in general is good, the rooms are comfortable, the price is very reasonable, and the staff are kind and helpful."
