1⃣️Hotel facilities: Looking at the pictures, you can see why I like them: stylish and clean. Small details can also satisfy me (the small bed lamp is practical and fashionable, the walking mirror takes care of guests of different heights, and the blue and silver decorations are super fun for Christmas). 2⃣️ Unique location: walk for more than 10 minutes to watch the sunrise on the sea in Trenerry Reserve (sunrise time is usually around 5:35am from December in Sydney in summer), and walk for about 5 minutes to Googee Coogee Beach (the shop has coffee at 6am) Hot sale early), along the Bondi Coogee Walking Trail, and Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk, the whole journey takes about 30 minutes, and then you can reach the beautiful Bondi Beach. The picturesque scenery along the way, passing by the world's most beautiful seaside cemetery (Waverley Cemetery casually enter). Take time to swim or kayaking at Clovelly Beach...It is recommended to come to Sydney to play beachside friends and stay in this hotel for three days. There is no need to crowd in the expensive and crowded Bondi Beach, which is all nearby. The price/performance ratio and service are very good. Below there is a very authentic Thai restaurant open until 10 o'clock, nearby supermarkets and bars are all available!

Coogee|0.19km from downtown
I've stayed in this hostel 3 times now, and it has been a pleasure each time. The staff are friendly - even the manager takes the time to get to know the guests. Plenty of bathrooms available and the kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of social space, too, with a living room downstairs and a large covered balcony upstairs. Bedrooms are good - there are clothing rails to hang your clothes which is a bonus! I stayed in the 4 bed female room. Laundry costs are on a par with every other hostel at $4 but, unlike other hostels, there are washing lines available instead of having to pay for the dryer. A lot of people staying here are long term whilst working, which is always a good sign. Calm relaxed atmosphere - even at the weekend. I would (and do) recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Sydney. If I find myself in Sydney again this will be the first place I look for a room. Thanks for a great stay, Coogee Beach House.

Woollahra|4.17km from Coogee Beach
A quiet room with atmospheric lighting and a super comfy bed, serviced daily. Friendly staff. Great location within easy leafy walks to cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, parks, old architecture, water. A nice continental breakfast with tea or coffee is included. Paid parking is available. Bathroom was clean and light with nice products. Our room (24) had shower in the claw foot bath tub.. getting out of wet bath was awkward and dangerous. Our room would have benefitted from a piece of art.. with very high ceilings the blank walls felt barren. I put a hand towel in the rotted missing section of our window frame to stop draught. Unsightly.. why not spakfill and paint? I guess challenging times have impacted upkeep on this grand old dame. The indoor breakfast room is closed as the ceiling has caved in from water damage. The parking security gate is not working currently and our paid parking space was nabbed on our last evening. Drunken loud, unruly guests on our final night were not able to be excluded from the hotel.. even after police were called in they continued to drink, yell, bash on the doors of the hotel, damage property and argue for hours. (I know this is not a common occurrence and we felt sorry for the management having to deal with this but it was terrifying not knowing what was going on.. not the way we expected to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary..) All in all a lovely hotel.. just needs some upkeep..

Paddington|4.76km from Coogee Beach
With all the lockdowns of Covid and everything this past year has brought I have reflected on past travels and been meaning to get back to my reviews. I was here March 2020 with a friend. I had booked two rooms (1 each) and I was disappointed with the receptionist when I approached him about the noise of the room at the front after my first night stay with the idea of asking if I could downgrade my room from the most expensive to one of the smaller ones at the back, but he took everything as personal. His reaction was off the wall, he was so incredibly rude and nasty that I was shaking, I am quite diplomatic but I was surprised, I was thinking 'Do you speak to your Mother like that”, I was floored. My career has been in customer service training, in very difficult cases, this was not difficult and yet he went nuclear. He insisted that they had double glazing. They DO NOT but yes a 2nd pane of glass was added but not true double glazing and it did little to give me a good nights rest. I mentioned that maybe if one was from a big city noise would be no issue, but Im not from Sydney. I hope this person is no longer working for the hotel. He was not a good ambassador for it. I did finally insist on speaking to the manager, which he did not want me to do, who greatly helped with my move. But the scars of this visit, really are still there. My friend never knew about these issues, she arrived the following day, I was not happy to stay here but did so as to move would've caused issue with her. The manager at the time however was professional. Im sure I've seen reviews mentioning this rude staffer but it certainly looks like they are not here now. All I can say is in my experience it was not a good one, and on that I can't recommend it. I have never ever in my decades of traveling been treated by anyone so aggressively, I still fail to understand this entire episode and hope when travel is back I can go to a place where the welcome remains with me for all the right reasons. If this issue had been resolved nicely, calmly like an adult Im sure the rating would be much better..Rooms are small but clean and the back rooms are quieter....

My partner and I recently stayed one night at the Manor Boutique Hotel, and found the room to be quite comfortable and clean. We were a little surprised by the parking situation, however, as both onsite and street parking is advertised on the website but instead we were directed to a parking garage about a 7-10min drive away from the hotel at $25/day. There was onsite parking available, but it was being used by other guests (2-3 cars maximum are able to park onsite and there is still the $25/day fee). None of the parking situation was a deal-breaker, but it would have been nice to have been made aware during the booking process. The staff were friendly, and allowed us an early check-in. Overall, we were very happy at the hotel and it was conveniently located close to the city.

Whenever the Edgecliff lodge has no Carpark the owner offers to park my car at his personal home . It’s the best . He is so friendly. I think his name is Jacques , not jack . Myself and mike use Jacques dwelling often . We especially appreciate the breakfast in the mornings.

The hotel in the eastern part of the city, although a little distance from the city center, is a convenient transportation hub just below the hotel. There is a supermarket near the hotel, which is convenient for guests who like to cook for themselves. The hotel is neat and the service is good.
