"We chose Cabo Serai expecting a premium and well-managed stay, but the experience was marked by non-disclosure, operational inefficiencies, and poor value for money. Several important aspects that directly affect a guest’s stay were not communicated prior to booking, including a 30–40 minute check-in delay despite sharing our arrival time, undisclosed ₹500 room-service charges, extremely limited food options, and the absence of basic evening snacks. Food was the biggest disappointment. Guests are forced into fixed lunch and dinner menus with no flexibility, regardless of taste or preference. We spent approximately ₹8,000 on food for just one night, despite average quality, limited choices, delayed service, and minimal authentic Goan cuisine. Lunch took nearly an hour to arrive, and dinner was delivered almost an hour late even after ordering well in advance. There is also practical difficulty accessing dining areas due to steep steps, making frequent meals inconvenient and dependent on calling and waiting for buggy service. Security arrangements were also miscommunicated. We were told valuables could be kept with beach security, but upon reaching the beach the guard declined to take responsibility. Comfort was further compromised by substandard bedding—two mattresses pushed together—which caused physical discomfort and back pain. While the views, privacy, and pool are good, a good view alone does not justify premium pricing when basic hospitality expectations are not met. This property is heavily over-hyped and does not deliver the level of transparency, comfort, or service expected at this price point. Travelers deserve to know these limitations before booking."

"We absolutely love this hotel. We had a fabulous warm welcome, the room (which we were given a choice of) was beautiful. It was clean, bright, had extras like magnifying mirror, box of tissues, plenty of hangers and unlike any other hotel we have stayed in this week (this is the fourth) a bath mat and a third small towel to wrap around my hair after a shower. We are very impressed, cannot recommend highly enough. An excellent price and we will return for longer! Thank you."

"Hospitality is really nice. Services are timely and punctual with minimal disturbance. Great place to stay at the beach front cabana at agonda. They have a good restaurant with decent food that lives up to the mark of food service as well."

"Clean and well located property in a quaint place away from the crowd yet not very far from the beaches. Good breakfast spread for vegetarians as well including live dosa counter the only problem is the parking which is far away from the reception"

"We came back here for another night as it was value for money and a nice resort. NIce people too the service was great from everyone greeting and all the staff were courteous. Will be back if we come to Goa again. This time we booked 2 rooms for 3 of us to have a bit more comfort. Room was given slightly late due to a wedding the previous day but we were in no rush. However the only downside was a person called me without saying the check out time and just asked to collect the bags. This was not right in my opinion and he could have said whenever ur ready before check out. He called at 11:30 when check out is at 12. This they should improve on especially when the room was given later than check in time."
