Hotel Aguas Claras Member of the Cayuga Collection

"We spent the best 4 night stay at Hotel Aguas Claras! When we decided to book our trip to Costa Rica, we looked for a place that could provide a low-key, no rush, natural/scenic surrounding while still getting great comfort, food and service. Aguas Claras provided just that and definitely much more! The service was impeccable but yet friendly and casual! The grounds and our room were clean and very well tended to - housekeeping and the ground keepers do a fabulous job. We had all of our breakfasts (Gallo Pinto is delicious) and dinners at Papaya and the food was just excellent all around. We especially enjoyed the barbecue on Friday night... sooo good. The whole restaurant area is very welcoming with couches and sitting areas everywhere. You could easily spend the whole day there sipping a cocktail or a coconut water and reading a book poolside losing track of time. We also enjoyed the Dalime bar by the beach, so convenient and a very short walk from the hotel. The lunch menu at Dalime is great too - we really enjoyed the ceviche! **** Our stay would NOT have been the same without the big smiles and friendliness of the wait staff - Especially Frayman, Arriett, and Michael!! It was great seeing your smiles every day! Danya was awesome too and introduced us to the Chiliguaro on our last night!!! You guys are the absolute best and you TRULY made our stay in Costa Rica extra special. **** We rarely visit the same location twice (there is so much to see in the world)... but we might very well make an exception for this one :)"

"We spent a week here and it was our most beautiful and pleasant accommodation in our three-week holiday in Costa Rica. There are only four bungalows here, the garden is just dreamy beautiful. Here you can also spend hours looking at the colibris or morphophalters, the small agutis or the monkeys. It is paradise. And yet not far from the street, the supermarket is almost around the corner. Also to the sea, it's just a few minutes. The bungalows are lovely furnished and you're here very for yourself. Each house has its own terrace and outdoor kitchen that we have actually used a lot. The bed is comfortable, at the pool you can also afford it very well. Practically, the parking are also for the car. Daniela is a very friendly and attentive host."

"We stayed for 2 nights at Casa Bromelia after just arriving in Costa Rica the day before. This was a perfect location for us to relax and enjoy the sounds and sights of wildlife right on your door step in the middle of a rainforest. Our alarm call being the sound of howler monkeys at dawn! The accommodation is totally private and very comfortable with all the amenities you need in a large fully functional kitchen. Tine, our host, could not have been more welcoming and helpful providing us each day with a delicious breakfast have delivered to our property each morning. We highly recommend this property.
