Hotel Karl Müller
"The hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of town, on the river. It's a family-style hotel with its own restaurant and lounge downstairs, and across from the cruise ship terminal and ticket office. The rooms are similar to those of a two-star hotel in China, a bit like a Japanese-style hotel. While not upscale, the hotel feels thoughtfully maintained. The pedestrian street church is nearby, as are many restaurants. Very convenient. Arrived early and received a free night."
Hotel Karl Noss
"It was a lovely stay. The staff were also very friendly; I would book here again :)"
Hotel Villa Vinum Cochem
"Beautiful boutique hotel in a restored building with great decor. It is in a great location overlooking the river, close to the station and an easy walk into the town centre. We had a superior double room and luckily got the one with the corner turret window with great view to the castle. Large room with opening windows, comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower. Comfortable lounge chairs to sit and watch the Euro football matches with a wine (or two) from the honesty bar downstairs - what a brilliant idea! Good breakfast in a nice dining room, plus the lounge to relax and read. The weather stopped us using the back terrace which looked inviting. The host Sebastian was very welcoming and helpful (organised laundry for us). We were sorry not to be able to stay longer, highly recommended."
Hotel Cochemer Jung
"friendly staff proper super breakfast and delicious food"
Stumbergers Hotel
"Nestled on the southern edge of Cochem, right along the picturesque Mosel River, Hotel Stumberger offers a tranquil retreat that balances modest comfort with stunning views. During our recent two-night stay, this charming property proved to be a convenient and peaceful haven, particularly for those arriving by car—parking was a breeze. We arrived on a rainy Saturday afternoon in May, greeted by a sleepy atmosphere. The check-in process, managed by a polite and straightforward gentleman who seemed to be the proprietor, was somewhat sluggish. It took a while to finalize the payment, but at approximately USD 150 per night, including a traditional German breakfast, the rate was reasonable. Our accommodation, Room 3 on the first floor, featured an attached balcony that served as the perfect vantage point for admiring the fast-flowing Mosel River and the majestic hilltop castle. The view alone was worth the visit, painting a captivating picture of the town’s scenic allure. The room itself was small but spotless, echoing a sense of simplicity and cleanliness. However, the bathroom was extremely cramped, and the mattress could benefit from being a bit firmer to enhance comfort. The hotel’s restaurant operates mainly for breakfast, which, though limited, offered a satisfactory start to the day with its selection of standard German fare. The dining experience was nothing to write home about, but it sufficed for our morning needs. Hotel Stumberger may not boast luxury, but it more than compensates with its breathtaking views and quiet charm. For an average of USD 150 per night, I was expecting some niceties typical of a family-run inn, but this is a very no-nonsense, functional experience. I would classify this property more as an inn than a hotel. It’s an adequate spot for travelers seeking a peaceful stay with easy access to the scenic beauty and historic wonders of Cochem."
Moselromantik Hotel Kessler Meyer
"We where a party of 7 Bikers doing a tour of Germany, Firstly the hotel staff could not be more helpfull they where all very curtoius and polite, the food was second to none, As we where a party of 7 they gave us our own large table and private room in the resturant, that night we all agreed it was one of the best meals we have had, we are all well traveled and have dined in some of the world top place, but this evening meal was top class, we where all given a picnic bag to take with us when we left the following moring. All in all a briliant hotel."
MoselAlpen - Schlafen & genießen
Burg-Hotel & Hostel Cochem
"I will not spend time on this. Simply avoid this. They need to go to school to operate a restaurant at a professional level. Asking high prices and giving back very poor food. I have a lot of experience in restaurants and this is one of the worst."

"I love it so much. The blonde at the counter is so kind. Thank you."
Hotel Osteria Del Vino Cochem
"It's not a cheap hotel, so it's strange that people don't mention that there's a very busy road right next to the hotel, and if you get a room facing the road on a hot summer day, you won't get much sleep. The host makes a good pasta dish, but when we had to pay for the hotel, only the room could be paid for by card. The food had to be paid for in cash. This wasn't mentioned when the food was ordered, and you can wonder why that is. Good starting point for a hike along the Moselle."
Hotel Hegenbarths
"We stayed here for 4 nights while hiking on the Moselsteig. We found the center of Cochem to be very touristy and noisy, so we were especially happy to stay at this hotel, located at a good distance from all the hustle and bustle down in the town. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and our room was very nice. We particularly enjoyed the lovely balcony with a view of the river. The staff here is extremely friendly, and the service is excellent, especially in the restaurant in the evenings. We also received great service when we wanted to bring wine in from the car so it wouldn’t have to sit in the heat for several days. We were immediately offered to store it in the hotel’s cellar and given help to carry it inside. The hotel has a nice terrace where it’s pleasant to dine in the evening. The restaurant serves decent food way better than what you can get in town. Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast, but we would have preferred to eat a bit earlier than the opening hours allowed. We highly recommend this lovely hotel to others who want to escape the commotion of the city."
Boutique Hotel Lohspeicher 1839
"His hotel was very friendly and super helpful with any needs. We also ate at his restaurant in the evening and it was spectacular! Excellent food with excellent portion size for a very very affordable price and such high quality. Would definitely recommend anyone who visits Cochem or the surrounding area for Burg Eltz to stay there. Wonderful time!"
Hotel Germania
"Beautiful, luxurious room, spotlessly clean, excellent and extensive breakfast, and friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located. Hotel parking is a fair distance away. The hotel does have an elevator, but it's not suitable for guests with disabilities or lung problems, as there are too many stairs to avoid with the elevator. Furthermore, the reception closes at 5:00 PM, and guests then have to climb stairs to the first floor."
