I dealt with Enrique and Renee and they were amazing so helpful and sweet. It was my first time in Oakland and they told me about all the amazing places to go see and vist. They were always making sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Definitely will return because of those two.
Booked in a two-bedroom apartment suite, there are two rooms, each with a double bed and bathroom, a kitchen and living room in the middle, a microwave oven with a microwave oven, and a cup, plate and dishware. Very suitable for family living. There is a big bird on the tree outside the small balcony. There are many yachts in the small bay. Walking along the front road to the right, there is a German restaurant, German sausage and beer taste really good. The hotel's free breakfast is OK. Three kinds of sausages are eaten a day. One day there are bacon patties sausages, milk cereals, homemade waffles, and several kinds of bread jams. Originally, I wanted to live in San Francisco, but I said that the roads in the city are relatively ups and downs, the one-way line is complicated, and the parking cost is high. So I live in Auckland. It is convenient to drive the Auckland Bridge to San Francisco for two consecutive days. I found a Guilin rice noodle shop nearby in the evening, and it tastes so good! ! !
Overall good, great value for money. There is no breakfast (additional charge), and parking is subject to an additional charge. Maybe the Chinese are not very used, others are ok. The transportation is also convenient.

It started after we made our reservation. All of a sudden, fraud credit card attempts were being made. Four attempts at Seawold Parks, Bruno’s Pizza, City of Stockton Utilities and California Water Service. Clearly someone with access to their booking system used the credit card number or passed it along. Luckily it is an Apple Credit Card and all charge attempts were declined and we were notified at every attempt. We paid for valet parking, but now a month afterwards we received a parking ticket in the mail. It turned out that the valet parks the car on public parking spots on the street, without feeding the meter. We would be better off parking on our own and feeding the meter all night. Much cheaper.
After a rough experience before arriving at the hotel—my car’s back window was smashed, and a piece of my luggage was stolen—I checked in feeling quite shaken. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff showed genuine kindness and support. Special thanks to Philippios and Armando from valet parking, who went above and beyond by spending two hours helping me clean up the broken glass and patching my back window, ensuring I could drive home safely the next day. Their incredible hospitality has made me a loyal Hyatt customer for life.
The lobby and rooms are very nice but the staff is amazing!! So kind. So helpful. Specifically Raymar and “Panama” and the ladies in the bar and grill. The surrounding area is sketchy but the Tower is safe and there is security
Honestly, I’ve been in some not so great hotels near airports so I did not have high hopes, but wanted to be close for an early morning flight. To my delight this SpringHill is the best I’ve been in. It feels new and is clean and the room is spacious. The area is quiet, and the hotel offers a shuttle not only to and from the airport, but also from the rental car center. We called and the driver picked us up within 10 minutes as promised. There is a full restaurant and bar, to boot.
I don't travel much but when I do I feel a bit uncomfortable in the big fancy new hotels. I don't like spending the money on fancy nor do I like the feel of new hotels. I like clean, cheap, unique, and good location. The Washington Inn offers all those things. I am into sustainability and extending the life of a building (It was built in 1913) is a very sustainable practice that I will always support. Air conditioning was good but I could also open the window as it was nice weather. This is a nice option. A bit loud with early morning garbage hauling but I am OK with that. I would stay here every time I am in Oakland. I am sure this is not the hotel for everyone but it worked for me.
I have been staying at this location since I first started visiting the Bay area about a year ago. I feel in love with the location right on the water a few minutes walk from Starbucks and other venues, Such a romantic locale. Comfortable, luxuriously so. The staff are always helpful and take care all my needs and check on my comfort every single day! The breakfasts always include fresh fruits, eggs and you can make your own waffles, I love the coffee it always tends to add that extra point to my stay! Above all I feel like I'm coming home to family when i return here and I will be return for a long time simply because I feel welcomed here.
We spent 4 days in Oakhurst as a base to visit Yosemite, it will take you 30 minutes to the entrance of Yosemite park and an additional hour to the valley. The hotel is new, the fitness room is small but there is everything you need for a workout, pool is nice even we had to ask for pool towels every time we took the kids swimming. Breakfast is good, even if they limit the amount of food you can eat ( on some breakfast items it’s clearly stated ‘one per guest’). Rooms are nice, even if we could hear everything our neighbours were saying or watching on tv. My biggest problem with this hotel is the staff! They are the most unwelcoming hotel staff I have ever met. If you walked into reception they won’t even acknowledge you, when you ask for something it seems like you are bothering them. I just didn’t like their attitude, unprofessional and rude. We asked to get our room serviced everyday, they didn’t clean it until our last day ( even if I reminded them every day)and when they cleaned it, they only gave us some fresh towels ( it’s the only hotel in the world that won’t make Your bed if your pjs are in the bed!).

Very Good
GGuest UserI stayed here for 5 days and found the motel clean and comfortable. Due to covid, I requested that my room not be cleaned and they were very nice about giving me towels, extra toilet paper, etc. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s nothing I didn’t already expect due to its location. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area, which is nice. The only thing that I disliked was that the bathroom lights are motion sensored so there were times I’d be taking a shower and all of a sudden it would be dark. Besides that, a great place to stay for a good price!
VVisits011Bay Breeze Inn, Good place to stay it’s nice calm n cool, the staff people are really helpful and I booked a Queen Bed, They gave me a free upgrade of King bed, so sweet. I’m sure I’ll go back to this hotel whenever I visit Oakland/San Francisco. I recommend it. Thanks, Robert
Ddv1313I stayed here a couple of weeks ago to visit family. long story short the management decided to kick me out for reasons I am still unclear on.check in was fine, the issues started when I had a friend come over to pick up his sweater that I had from my last visit. I received a call from front desk saying my friend had to park outside and I offered to pay for the parking but the front desk agent denied. So I had my friend leave and park his car outside of the property. after he left my friend came by to get ready for a movie we were attending later that evening. I received a call again from front desk telling me my friend had to leave. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I asked him why and he said occupancy was for 1 adult, which I understand working as a hotel employee myself. However this was no later than 6 PM and nowhere near bed time, plus we were leaving to the movie soon and he was not going to be coming back with me. I pleaded for the agent to please understand what I was saying, that my friend was not going to be staying in the room with me. but no such luck. After a while of going back and fourth about how this is totally acceptable and that I do his same job at a different hotel the front desk agent began to actually yell over the phone at me totally unwilling to listen to any common sense. He eventually started to yell that he would be there with security to kick me out. Moments later I heard loud banging on my door but at this point I was totally in chock and scared to be completely honest. After a couple of minutes they stopped and shouted that they will call police. For once I felt a sense of relief knowing that police would show up since I really was doing nothing wrong and they were actually making me terrified. I then received a call in the room again this time from management telling me I needed to leave(no reason was given to me) and that if I dont comply they were calling the police. He said that he was already cancelled the reservation and I no longer that a right to stay in the room and he was already refunded my money back. The manager sounded calm but didn't seem apologetic or seemed to sympathize as if they had done nothing wrong. The only thing that made me leave was knowing they had cancelled my reservation without my consent and the fact that they were civil enough to at least refund me my money for the terrifying experience. almost a whole month has passed now and I still have not received any refund from this property and am still waiting. I notified Hotels.com about this and they treated me much better and even gave me a credit for the horrifying experience. To this day I wonder why they singled me out while other peopl had multiple people staying with them. Surely they dont verify number of adults for every single person. A part of me believes that it was due to their personal beliefs/religion. Which is discrimination. My advice is to stay the heck away from this property or they re more than capable of taking
