I recently stayed at the Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo for three nights in a Standard Family Room on the 7th floor and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The room comfortably accommodated our group of four, and we were pleasantly surprised to find two separate bathrooms with bathtubs, which added a significant level of convenience for our family. While the room did not offer any particular views, the value for money was undeniable.
The hotel's buffet spread was another highlight of our stay. With a wide variety of options, it catered well to different tastes and preferences, ensuring a satisfying start to each day.
A couple of logistical aspects made our stay even more seamless. We were able to return our rental car directly at the hotel, having rented from Toyota Rent-a-Car. This saved us a lot of time and hassle. Additionally, we utilized the Airport Bus service from the hotel, purchasing tickets easily at the front desk on the day of our departure. This convenience allowed us to relax and enjoy our last moments in Sapporo without any stress.
One of the most impressive aspects of our stay was the excellent service. We had purchased quite a bit of chocolate from the Royce Chocolate Factory, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by accepting and storing our delivery until we arrived a day or two later. This level of service truly enhanced our experience.
The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, making it very accessible. For those interested in exploring local shopping areas, Tanuki Koji is a manageable 30-minute walk away.
Overall, the Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo offers excellent value for money with its well-appointed rooms, great amenities, convenient location, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapporo.

IH cooking heater, mini refrigerator, rice cooker, cooking utensils (pots, frying pans, kettle pots, colanders, bowls, ladles, etc.), tableware (rice bowls, bowls, platters, glasses, mugs, chopsticks, spoon forks), unit bath , TV, towels (large and small), desk and chair, 2 beds and a spare futon. It seems that breakfast and dinner can be ordered in the common space (suspended due to corona), and it was open to residents during the day. The hot springs can be used late at night and early in the morning, except during cleaning hours during the day. There is also a sauna and open-air bath. Since the temperature of the source is high, there is water and disinfection. Seicomart, Lawson, Family Mart and bus stop are also within walking distance (10-15 minutes). Enjoy a quiet and green stay.

GGuest UserSusukino and Odori are both very good location within walking distance. Also, it is a clean hotel because it is shallow. ２４ Coffee for time is also good. However, the １５００ yen breakfast was a bit poor. １ It is a buffet in the lounge on the floor. If you pay this amount, it is better to have a morning at a nearby coffee shop. At the height of Corona, he brought a luxurious breakfast to his room, but I wanted him to be revived. I'm sorry I can't eat it.

LLee RingoWe just checked in the room and found that the air conditioning had something wrong (the hotel has fixed a warm mode, can't change anything) and actually there was no air (warm or cool) coming out. The staff there advised me to open the window. To me, it was unacceptable as it is a hotel, not a guesthouse. We discussed this issue with Front Office Manager and he agreed to refund the money to me. So, I did not stay there.

The only thing is not sure why the room is dusty, we keep sneezing and coughing during our stay.wven with the air purifier tune on when we stay in the room.
Good that they will change nre towel daily even we not request to makeup our room
Reception staff is friendly and polite but no mineral water provided during check-in or daily during our stay.2nd floor has vending machine, laundry and ice machine provided. There is family mart within 5 mins walks.

Location: in the Jozankei Onsen town that’s about an hour + out of Sapporo. Honestly if you’re in a group, just book a cab out, it was about $80++ for 3 of us! Otherwise remember to book the Onsen bus shuttle early in advance 🥹
Area around Onsen is nothing much besides other Onsen houses, a small cafe and other smol tourist picture spots.
Back to the Ryokan: this was my first experience being in one and I’m so glad I chose this place! Mum and sister throughly enjoyed it as well, using our in room Onsen ( there’s 2!) and also the shared common Onsen with an outdoor facing the snow too ❄️☃️♨️
Service:The staff was extremely polite and efficient, seeing the reviews of them being rude was kinda uncalled for. They were nothing but kind and attentive. It is a very quiet and peaceful place , I understand the need for all guests to be maintain the atmosphere too.
Food: amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan so far ♥️ the pictures below speaks for itself 🥹 private dining room to enjoy the view too🏔️
Loved small touches too like the mikimoto soaps , Dyson hair dryers ( in the public Onsen) And the chopstick souvenirs 🥹

77samuraiWe visited Sapporo for the snow festival in Feb 2020. We selected the Leopalace based on location/price and reviews. On arrival, due to the weather and late night we decided to take a taxi to the hotel, this cost about Y1000. (after our stay it was fine weather, so we walked back to the JR station which took about 15 minutes). NB - neither my wife or myself speak Japanese, just a few phrases. Check in at the hotel was easy and straight forward, and we were directed to lifts behind reception. Our room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. We chose not to book breakfasts, we were there for the snow festival so there was a huge variety of fresh market style food available. The hotel was a very short walk from the main avenue where the festival is held. There is 7/11 located on the corner of the hotel and also a long shopping arcade a couple of minutes walkaway. We wanted to use the hotels spa facility which is shown to be on floor 9. we put on the robes provided but having taken the lift up to floor 9 we found only bedrooms. so we called reception and mistakenly asked for direction to the onsen (we should have said public bath) because we asked for the wrong thing we were told the hotel does not have an onsen and then they hung up the phone. So I changed in to regular clothes went to reception and eventually worked out that the only way to the spa was via another lift in reception. Because we had to walk through reception we elected to wear regular clothes which was fortunate because eonce we found the spa area there were large signs telling you in English) not to wear your robes in reception, of course by the time you read that in the spa you would have already walked through reception. I don't mind if there is little English signage but if you take the time to have English translations put them where they can be of use - IN THE ROOMS. (oh and you need to take the towels from your room to use in the spa too) . We found the room temperature very comfortable and both slept well during our stay. We asked the reception to make a dinner reservation for us at a popular restaurant for our second night, this took a little while as initially they assumed we wanted to book into the hotel resturant, but once we passed this confusion they reception were very helpful. Making sure we had our booking reference and even showing us on a map where it was (even though we already knew this). Other than the phone call about the onsen/bath we found the reception staff very friendly and willing to help.

GGuest UserWalking distance to JR line. Quad room is very big with 4 queen sized beds and a mini living area with a sofa bed and a table. Bathtub in bathroom. The toilet and bathroom were separated which made soaking in the bathtub a pleasure. There is a laundry room in level 5 for you to wash and dry your clothes. Hotel will give 4 bottles of water everyday when we make up our room.

LLykaleeThis place is superb! I highly recommend it. The location is very accessible with everything. The airport bus is just in front of the hotel, the subway is just only few steps away. It’s located to a shopping district, it’s very convenient to go around. If you wanna visit some tourist attractions, you can easily access it by bus or train. If you’d like to go to niseko for a day trip you can take a 3 hrs bus to get there and it’ll take only 10mins walk to get to the bus station from the hotel. The Tv tower is just few minutes walk, where we celebrated the New Years countdown during the New Year’s Eve. The staff are very helpful! Especially the concierge, you can ask them anything and they are willing to help you to give some information about the place that would you like to visit. Im also having trouble about my luggage to send it to Tokyo through takyubin, but the concierge help me to get through and come up with a great solution to solve it. I’m very thankful with him, he has no idea how much he help me and give me a hassle free traveling back to Tokyo. If I’ll comeback to Sapporo again, I’ll definitely check this place! The amenities and spa is also amazing, it’s not that really crowded as what I expected. You can relaxed and take a hot bath after a long walk and get a free popsicle ice cream after. They will also give you a high quality amenities once you check in for skin care. This place is really outstanding!

OOnanongThis is an excellent place to stay in Hokkaido. The location is quite convenient to get to, and there’s an affordable car park available at the entrance of the alley. The surrounding area has restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The accommodation is not far from Susukino district, and it’s about a 15-20 minute walk. The check-in process might be a bit complicated, but the host provides clear and helpful instructions.
The interior is more spacious than I expected. Upon entering, there are two wardrobes where you can hang coats or winter clothes, with plenty of hangers provided. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, and 2 sinks. Bathroom amenities include towels, head towels, soap, shampoo, and extras like hair ties, cotton buds, and shower caps. A washing machine is also available, complete with detergent, bleach, and drying racks. Clothes can be dried using the heat from the heater, which is very convenient.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove, microwave, kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, and even a sink. In the living room, there’s a dining table with chairs, a sofa set with a coffee table, and a TV. Beyond that is the sleeping area, which has one large bed and two bunk beds. Each bed has its own power outlet for charging devices, which is fantastic. There’s also a small table by the window, perfect for use as a makeup station.
This is a place I would love to stay at again. It holds wonderful memories for me, and I can still picture how everything looks. Thank you for providing such a lovely and reasonably priced accommodation. I absolutely love this place!

不不停去旅行Tanukikoji is a shopping street that you must visit when visiting Sapporo. The entire Tanukikoji consists of 7 sections. There are everything from daily life stores to drugstores on both sides. There are also many specialty restaurants, many of which are popular stores.
Jozankei Onsen
KKyliesungOne of the most popular hot spring resorts in Hokkaido, it takes an hour by Kappa bus from Sapporo Station. Jozankei is famous for its red leaves, and there are also many interesting kappa legends circulated. Therefore, when walking in Jozankei Hot Spring Street, the valley is not only full of red maples, but also you can see kappa decorations from time to time~ Although it is winter this time During the visit, there were no red leaves, but the beauty was not diminished.
First go to Jozankei Futami Park, and then walk to Futami Suspension Bridge to enjoy the valley and mountain views. Since the snow may be quite thick, you must be very careful when walking and wear snowshoes! be safe! This time I chose Zhangyue for one stay and two meals! It’s kaiseki cuisine!

Zztanwent for the biscuit making class and toured the entire facility. very family-friendly although I believe the main target audience will be kids from 1-5 :) sweet treats do not discriminate the age; adults will love the variety of desserts and drinks available. i recommend bringing along some water as lots of chocolate can make you thirsty. theres a gift shop to purchase limited edition goodies for your loved ones!
Nakajima Park

Nakajima Park is very large and has many types of cherry blossoms.
Even outside of cherry blossom season, there are many seasonal events in summer, autumn and winter.

华华盛顿🐯When I arrived at Hokkaido University Q in Sapporo, I went to its museums and farms wherever I went. This is the largest university in Japan, and the museums are great. After visiting Hokkaido University and its comprehensive museum, I felt like going to college a few more times and studying different departments. Hokkaido University has beautiful scenery and few people. You can stroll leisurely and sit on the lawn leisurely. From the south gate, there is a small river and a central lawn. Walk north and then you will reach the museum, ⑨ Hokkaido University Comprehensive Museum The museum has a large collection of specimens related to the natural ecology of Hokkaido, covering plants, animals, insects, fossils, etc. These include species unique to Hokkaido, such as the Hokkaido brown bear and the Hokkaido short-tailed shrew (EzO naki-usagi), which show the unique ecosystem of Hokkaido. The museum first introduces history, educational philosophy, and Nobel Prize winners. Then it is module by module, and each department has a small exhibition hall, just like visiting many different museums in miniature. There are exhibits, places to eat, and of course ice cream. There is ice cream everywhere, souvenir shops, and even capsule machines.
