"5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM. However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed."

"We were a group of four, and the apartment was spacious. It had a mini-kitchen fully equipped for cooking. It was a super short, 3-minute walk to the Gudauri gondola lift, very close indeed. The Spar supermarket was only a 1-minute walk away, so the location was incredibly convenient. The apartment also came with a locker for storing sports equipment. It was warm inside, with several radiators for heating, plenty of electrical outlets, and a washing machine. The owner handed us the keys and had everything ready for us, and was always in touch. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! 👍 The only minor drawback was the lack of a simple foldable drying rack for clothes. We had to dry everything on the backs of beds and chairs. Such a small thing would have made our stay even more comfortable. 😃"

"The room are clean. Nice friendly front desk. If you are going to take the 930 free transportation up to the ski place, please be early than 930, they actually left around 915, even the front desk told you it’s 930. Or else you gotta wait for the 1030. We ended up walk up. Not too far, 15 mins 20 mins walk. Without the ski equipment is ok, just imagine you need to bring all the equipment up there. Plenty of steep slopes. The breakfast is super good for me. I don’t understand why others commented that it’s not good. Why so picky. It’s better than any hotels I stayed. If you think you are better than others, just don’t stay, go ritz Carlton then… Anyway. Nice hotel."

"The breakfast was good and the service was good. The original impression was not bad. It turned out that the next day the paraglider was 100 lari more expensive than the outside, 350 lari per person, and the negotiated price was over there to let me add money and go everywhere. It can only be added. Check out and ask the hotel how to get to the bus station, saying that there is no public transportation and privately operated vehicles here, the hotel taxi will be sent to the station 4 kilometers 20 lari (at the beginning said 30 lari), if it is sent to our next stop card Hotel 450 lari in Zbek, 420 lari 30 kilometers away! I am curious how do the babies who go to the ancient road solve the traffic? Later, we asked the rooms hotel to pick us up as long as 80 lari (still back and forth!), I think this hotel is very dark."

"We love our stay at Gudauri ski resort. The view in the morning is amazing. We only had problem while checking in because the location in google map is apparently slightly off. But other than that all are good. The owner also very kind to let us store our luggage after check out, bcs our tour picked us really late due to some road closure in Kazbegi. The security also very nice, he also give some recommendation for food and ski rental. He suggested us to eat at Good aura restaurant behind the hotel and it was nice indeed. Thanks"
