The safaris we did (river and jeep) were unhurried and allowed us to see various animals (rhinos, elephants, deer, monkeys, gharials, crocodiles and various types of bird). Our very knowledgeable naturalist guide, Nabim contributed massively to our enjoyment of the safari experience. Sadly though even he could not conjure up the elusive tigers and the closest we got was a footprint in the mud!"

"I can't use enough superlatives to describe our experience at this hotel. Suraj and his family are the most friendly and accommodating hosts we have ever had, anywhere! The hotel is in a fabulous location, a short walk from the riverside and the busy centre, but far enough away to be totally peaceful. Our beautiful room, with private balcony had the perfect view of the sunset. This hotel will arrange everything you need for a successful safari, and use the best guide in the business. Their prices are wonderful too! The room is spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, and it was spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and nothing is too much bother for Suraj. Thank you for giving us a magical time!"

"We arrived at the arrival building and was treated to a cold moist towel and a refreshing lemongrass water. We were guided to the main building for checkin. Check-in was simple took very little time. Our hosts drive us to our bungalow on an electric cart and opened the door for us. He showed us the room and our luggage was already there for us. That afternoon we were treated to a river boat safari and tea at its conclusion. The next day my wife and I were treated to a couples massage in the morning. That afternoon we went into the National Park for a jeep safari. Finally, we ate dinner at the riverside. It was absolutely beautiful! The staff was very attentive from housekeeping to the management. I would like to specifically thank our safari guide, Sudikshya Kemal Maya who guided us on both of our safaris. She was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell she loves her job!"

We saw many animals on the safari, not so much on the jungle walk but it was a nice hike and you can't book the animals! I can't recommend Sagor highly enough, he did an exceptional job."

Our villa with a private pool overlooked the stunning Rapti River and the lush Chitwan National Park—a breathtaking sight that was only made better by spotting a few rhinos from the property itself! The villa was beautifully decorated for the birthday surprise, and the celebration arranged by the team is a memory we’ll cherish forever. A big thank you to the entire Housekeeping team for making it look magical! Special appreciation to Mr. Dipanker at the front desk for his warm hospitality, seamless check-in and checkout, and excellent room orientation—it made everything smooth and stress-free. Our naturalist, Swastika, was outstanding—her knowledge, energy, and warmth made our safari tour an absolute highlight. Heartfelt thanks to Chef Narendra Bogati, not just for the delicious meals, but also for personally checking on us at every mealtime to ensure everything was to our liking. "I can’t recommend this place enough!! An easy experience all the way from booking with them to when we got there. Highly recommend going through the company itself, instead of a travel website as they usually do a great deal. The resort itself is beautiful, so picturesque and immersed in nature. The swimming pool was an added bonus and well needed to relax. The villa was clean, spacious and well looked after. We loved the balcony that looked on to the river. The food was so unbelievably tasty. Ramgi and his team looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble. So kind and patient. It was also my birthday when there and they made such as fuss it was so special! The safari was phenomenal, the jungle providing so much nature - we managed to see rhinos, elephants, deer and a sloth bear. Our guide Sorin (I’m pretty sure that was his name) was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He made it so much fun - as well as the driver. I don’t have a negative word to say about the resort and our experience. We totally fell in love with the place and the people! We hope to be back one day!"

Our room was spotless, fresh, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We also really appreciated the little touches that made the experience feel extra special — the turn-down service, chocolates, and personalised notes from the staff were such thoughtful details and showed the level of care the hotel puts into its guests’ experience. If you’re planning a visit to Chitwan, I honestly can’t recommend Royal Tulip Chitwan highly enough. It is the perfect hotel to stay in and we would happily return again."

"This place is aesthetically pleasing and absolutely minimal but it is done so beautifully that you do not feel void of anything. The vision of the young entrepreneur Dharmik (the owner) is inspiring and the staff are very well trained, helpful and welcoming. My solo trip ended with 2 nights here and I loved everything about this place. I would recommend it for traveler/s who do not nit pick and who can come with open mind, relax, enjoy slow mornings and even slower but stunning sunsets views with sip of chilled beer. The food option is limited but everything they offer is made with love and is on point. I would visit again for all the peace, love and attention i got during my stay."

"We had the best stay at Aikawa, I can only recommend this hotel. It is new and modern and has to be the best hotel in Sauraha. From the first moment we arrived we were so well taken care of. We got an upgrade to a beautiful suite which has a fantastic layout and is just really well thought through. It has a huge bath tub as well as a rain shower and modern, high quality furniture. The pool on level 1 is so inviting and they will bring towels and even drinking water to the lounge chair. The garden has just been completed and offers a bar with a lounge area, table tennis, basketball or volleyball (can't remember which). There is also a spa which we didn't use though as we were too busy. The restaurant was really good and true to the hotels name I had sushi which was really fantastic. Tours can be booked as well. On a side note, our jeep tour of Chitwan national park was quite disappointing because we didn't see many animals and the tour guide (who was not the hotel's tour guide) was only speaking in Hindu to the Indian tourist but of course that wasn't the hotel's fault. The staff is probably the best thing about the hotel, they were so friendly and welcoming. Especially concierge Milan went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic stay, he even went to the elephant breeding centre with us, which we truly enjoyed - much better than the jeep safari. Overall we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was a memorable stay for us."

"My mum and I visited Sapana for a wonderful 4 nights. Sapana exceeded our expectations, with surreal views, peaceful atmosphere and the most welcoming of staff. Our room was very clean and in keeping with the ethos of the lodge, it all felt very grounding and natural. As for facilities and services; we couldn’t have asked for more. We enjoyed daily excursions, some being full day trips visiting native animals in their natural homes, whilst other days we did shorter trips visiting with the indigenous Tharu people, where we helped in their fields and shared special moments. Our whole trip was made easy and exciting by the help from naturist Dinesh Giri. Dinesh became a true friend where nothing was too much to ask. He went above and beyond to make our stay just as we like. He would often say “it’s needs to be perfect for our respected guests”. His knowledge and guidance is something that is truly special and he is a huge asset to the Sapana team as well as all of the staff that we were always laughing and conversing with. Learning about the intention behind the creation of the lodge made our stay that more important. Unlike other stays, there is true contribution back to the people who matter most in the community. Feeling like you can help as well as just benefit can make your soul feel a lot more comfortable with travel. Thank you to the whole Team, for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend."
