Travelodge Chippenham ★★★

"Pleasant staff but them and comfy bed were only positives. Was initially put in a room with a dysfunctional ac unit that was noisy (even when off) and kept me awake, alongside the slamming door into the corridor and floodlight outside the courtyard to the back. Apparently solo women get put in these rooms to be close to reception in case there is an issue!!! I was moved at 3am. The next room was quiet but dried urine all over the back of the bathroom floor. Offer made to move again rather than to clean the room properly. Breakfast is adequate. WiFi - extra cost and unsuitable for business travel. Maybe ok for one night if on a deal, but not for any more."

Best Western Plus Angel Hotel ★★★

"Receptionist in the morning was pleasant had issues in the hotel had to check in later . I asked for 2 double rooms which wasn’t actioned . When checking in later in the day after 4pm a different receptionist gave us 2 double rooms however she was not knowledgeable about the area nor if dinner was from the menu or buffet as she didn’t work in that department ! Miserable girl, hospitality definitely isn’t her forte . Breakfast starts at 8am however the hot breakfast wasn’t laid out till 8;30 and missed our train because of this as we had to rush . It’s imperative breakfast is served at the time stated . Staff were apologetic however this has happened before . Hotel very central and generally very pleasant stay . I would stay again ."

Travelodge Hotel - Chippenham Leigh Delamere M4 Eastbound ★★★

"Hotel as you can expect for a services can’t complain, but the staff on the desk was very polite and helped us with directions (Alyssa/Alisha?)"

Premier Inn Chippenham ★★★

"Nice hotel staff very welcoming pity about the Restaurant/pub next door closing plus not much on the menu. But had a supermarket across the road. Easy access to main roads"

The White Hart Ford ★★

Stanton Manor Hotel ★★★

"Nice newly refurbished small county hotel. Friendly service and nicely decorated delux room but tgats about all. Really disappointed considering the cost of a delux room which was small and with a tiny ensuite. Attention to detail really missing: no bottled water in thr room, nowhere to open suitcases, no hooks for clothes or drying space for 2 bath towels in bathroom. Poor toileteries for such an exoensive room etc. Dinner menu really weak, breakfast ok. All this could be fixed easily by improving the above or halving the room rate."

London Road Guest Accommodation ★★★

"I have been travelling the length and breadth of the UK for ＞7 years and this accommodation and experience has been the best of all without exception. Having a self contained Annex with lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen is a far better experience than paying twice the price to stay in an anonymous 4star Hotel room with potentially noisy neighbours etc. Dining out options are good in the local area, but if you have spare time the kitchen is fully equipped to cook any meal."
