HOTEL ROUTE-INN KAMIYAMADA ONSEN
"I stayed here while on a motorcycle tour and decided to stay here because it had a large hot spring bath. They have three types of hot springs, so I was able to bathe in two of them the night I arrived and the next morning. The breakfast buffet was also delicious."
Kashiwaya
"Very nice place to stay with beautiful design"
Hotel Kameya Honten
"I stayed here for one night on my way home. The hotel is located in a traditional hot spring town, and has a calming atmosphere that evokes a sense of nostalgia. The hot spring was spacious, and the water was very warming. It felt like my body was completely relaxed, and I was able to completely relieve the fatigue of my travels. There was also a very good liquor store near the hotel, with a wide selection of local sake and rare brands, so I had no trouble choosing souvenirs. The price was also reasonable, and I was very satisfied with my stay in terms of value for money. It's not flashy, but it's the perfect place for those who want to quietly enjoy the hot springs and the local atmosphere. I would definitely stop by again if I'm passing by."
HOTEL ROUTE-INN COURT CHIKUMA-KOSHOKU
"It's a 5-minute walk to the station, which is very convenient. The small town is quiet and not crowded. The facilities are complete, and the breakfast is a Japanese buffet. If you want to experience a Japanese town, you can give it a try."
Ryotei Takano
"This is an adult hot spring inn that only accepts five groups per day, where you can quietly enjoy the hot water and meals. Even though the facilities are old (there are no inconveniences other than finding an outlet), they are kept very clean and tidy, which is wonderful."
Togurakamiyamadaonsen Shunjyuan Kikusui Ryokan
"My friends and I Had the best time staying in this hotel .We are 4 ( ladies )Room is clean and spacious.we had full Japanese course both dinner and breakfast. The staffs are pleasing and kind. The Onsen was quite small but it was a great experience.."
Kamesei Ryokan
"Very nice place run by Tyler. The private bath was very nice and cosy."
Hotel Lune Claire (Adult Only)
Kamiyamada Hotel
"We had a great experience renting from Budget with our family. The car was in excellent condition and very clean. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and hassle-free. Staff were professional and patiently answered all our questions. It was a smooth experience overall, and we’d consider renting from Budget again for future family trips"

Club Wyndham Chikumakan Nagano
"Really nice ryokan everyone was very friendly, and accessibility to the baths if you have tattoos at certain time"
Riverside Uedakan
"Great location overlooking the river."
Chikumanoyu Shigenoya
"Excellent experience at a traditional ryokan! I gave 4/5 stars for location because there are no particular views (it's right in the middle of the town), but the other features more than compensate for this. All the staff we met were very courteous and professional. Meals were traditional and introduced us to many interesting dishes. Onsens were small but since this hotel only has eight room, they are never crowded. Also the onsens are open through the night which I especially appreciated."
Sasaya Hotel
Hotel Platon Annex Green Plaza
"General accommodation facilities"
Hotel Yuuzan
"The parking lot had no lines, making it very difficult to park. The toilet in my room was dirty; there was feces stuck to the bowl even before my stay, and I was shocked to see that it hadn't been cleaned. The room was also a bit dusty overall (the tissue box was especially dusty). Table tennis cost 550 yen for 30 minutes. Considering the price, the net wasn't properly strung, and the rackets were worn out, so it wasn't worth the price. The food was delicious in both quantity and quality. However, some staff members spoke to me in a casual manner, which was a bit of a concern."
Umemura Ryokan Uguisutei
"Cost-cutting measures were noticeable. I went to the hot springs two minutes before 3:30 PM, as I was told it would be open then, but it was pitch black. I returned to my room, contacted the front desk, and they turned on the lights. I was staying in what was advertised as the only suite in the building, so I expected to have breakfast there as well as dinner, but I was with a family with children and it wasn't very relaxing. I wish they had at least provided private dining rooms for meals on the special suite floor. The evacuation route map posted on the room door was also from before the renovation. Dinner was delicious, with local ingredients skillfully prepared."
