"The BEST HOTEL for years! A really superb hotel; I am mildly disabled and to me it was perfect for Bed & Breakfast. The staff were cheery, extremely considerate and helpful, 5*, everything to make it easy for me. A wonderful bedroom, lovely mattress, fantastic shower, easy to use, with seat and a huge space. The buffet breakfast was the best I've experienced in Europe ! A very large choice of foods and drinks, the poached-eggs were the very best I've experienced -- I felt compelled to ask the secret and generously was told! Yum Yum! Car parking opposite was expensive but large free parking over the road by statue of Napoleon. Town/cafes/shops 5 minutes walk. A truly wonderful hotel, I'll be very pleased to return."

"The staff here speak good English and are very warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. The hotel is quite old fashioned. Whilst clean, the room was cramped and the bathroom was akin to a walk-in wardrobe In dimensions. The shelves in the bedroom were loose and wobbly. The WiFi only worked on the ground floor of the building. But for the price, one couldn’t grumble too much. It was an adequate stay. Be aware that the traffic noise from the street outside is very intrusive and doesn’t calm down until late. Apart from that, you leave feeling you have had a genuine French experience which you don’t get in a chain hotel."

"In need of a last minute hotel, we came across Hotel La Regence and what a lucky find. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour and the en-suite was quirky and fun with a spa bath. The room and communal areas were all perfectly clean. In the evening we choose to eat in the restaurant again the staff were friendly and the service was good. We choose the set menu and were not diss appointed with the quality of the food. Shall certainly be staying here again next time we are in Cherbourg"

"The hotel is a very comfortable hotel, just next to the theatre place, with a free parking nearby (Divette). A spacious bathroom and room. Very good price quality. Only bemols: one single electricity take in the entire room (no one in the bathroom, no one in the TV and the take behind the sofa did not work) and no cordon in the bathroom around the bathroom so one slapping everywhere when you wash yourself."

"Emmanuel and Michael have created a beautiful refuge for exploring the Cotentin Peninsula of Normandy. Their B&B is fantastic! Every morning at breakfast, we were delighted by the table setting and were offered fresh fruit, coffee or tea, yogurt, eggs, and local pastries. And if we didn't finish the pastries, Michael packed them up so we could take them with us on our daily travels. Our room in the main house was perfectly designed and had the cutest tea cart I have ever seen. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had all the amenities this princess requires. I dream of going back!"
