"February 2026 Malta 🇲🇹 Sliema ✔️ Convenient Location: The hotel is very well-located, about a 5-minute walk from Sliema Ferry Terminal, making it super easy to catch a boat to Valletta or join a sea excursion. ✔️ Exceptional Service: Even though I didn't mention it was my birthday during check-in, the front desk proactively wished me a happy birthday. The next day, they even prepared a surprise for me (a bottle of Italian Famiglia Cielo Dal 1908 sparkling wine and a plate of chocolates), which was incredibly touching. ✔️ Free Parking: The hotel offers complimentary parking spaces, about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. ✔️ Abundant Breakfast: The breakfast spread was extensive with plenty of choices, and the overall quality was excellent – a great start to the day. ✨ Overall Impression: Out of the three different hotels I stayed at in Malta, this one was by far my favorite. The price was fantastic, the breakfast delicious, and the service friendly. The entire stay was very comfortable, and I highly recommend it!"

"It’s been a rollercoaster with this hotel, and I was changing my mind about it a couple of times, but here’s the truth. The hotel is not 4 starts for sure, but for what this price can buy in high season in Malta it’s a very adequate deal. Don’t expect anything fancy or anything beyond the most basic amenities. The hotel is good for staying there to sleep, but not spending time there. Don’t bother with the roof terrace either, pool and tub waters are murky and don’t seem sanitary. I saw other peoples reviews and pictures and realized that I got the most OK room the hotel could offer. My next door neighbor was chain smoking in his room, and firstly the reception staff refused to do anything about it and bluntly said to my face that they won’t enforce hotels policies. But the reception manager next day helped me deal with the situation and was very nice and helpful in general about other touristy inquiries. Haven’t had breakfast, so can’t comment. Overall the hotel is okay for what it’s worth, but I recommend checking the room before accepting it just to be on the safe side. But it’s pretty obvious that it’s reasonable to expect what there is at this price point."

"We went there on July 27- Aug1. Everything was great. Great location (still have a small distance to the dock where you take to Comino), great view, friendly customer service. Only one problem is that the indoor pool, spa room, nearly all facilities indoor was in maintenance which didn’t been mentioned when we are booking (either on trip or official website). This made a bit disappointing but overall still good. Also one disappointing point is that the outdoor pool said it opened at 7am/8am (forget the actual timing) however it wasn’t the actual open time, it is the readying time. We went there that morning and no water was in the water pool. After 30mins a staff come and start to refill it, and waited for more than a hour to finish. This was a bit disappointing."

"Convenient location. A few mins walk after getting off from bus. There are two buildings for the hotel , I was guided to pass through a restaurant to access another building for check-in and stay.Enough restaurants, bar and cafes nearby , easy to find food. Friendly and helpful staffs 🤗 Breakfast is provided. You can enjoy the sea view while having the breakfast . However, the salad seems not fresh. The cucumber is sour. Some small stain on the bedsheet and mosquito in the room."

"The location is great near to bus stops and ferry stations. Amenities are provided but no tooth brush or tooth paste. Also, there is no electric kettle. The table is not completely cleaned. But overall acceptable."

"The room is really spacious! It's also conveniently located not too far from the airport bus stop, which makes getting to and from the hotel easy. The soundproofing isn't great, and there are no curtains around the beds, so women staying in mixed-gender dorms might want to keep that in mind. Towels seem to be available for a fee (around three euros, I think?). There's only one elevator, but it's pretty fast. There are a couple of extra showers in the basement, and the kitchen on the 8th floor offers amazing sunset views – definitely worth checking out if you have time. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, so you have to contact reception to adjust the temperature, but they're quick to respond. The reception staff were really friendly, which was a plus."

"The best Hotel in Sliema, and most of Malta in my opinion. The staff all are fantastic, the hotel facilities, restaurants, pools and health spa are exceptional. Everywhere is immaculate and so clean and my whole stay was juat perfect. Being given a room upgrade, a voucher to get a free cocktail or drink and always acknowledged, by my name everytime I saw the reception team was just amazing. I highly recommend the AX Victoria and this is the only hotel I will stay at when visiting Malta. Tha k you to the whole team at AX Victoria, you are all ”Simply the Best” Regards Mr Wells."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel. The balance between the location as a sightseeing base, the comfort of the room, the quality of the breakfast, and the price was excellent, and I would especially recommend it to those who are value for money. First of all, the room was larger than I expected, with plenty of room even when I opened my suitcase. The room was clean, and the bed, floor, and bathroom seemed well-maintained. Even when returning tired from a long day of sightseeing, it was a space where I could relax with peace of mind. Another plus was that there was no noise and I was able to get a good night's sleep. I booked a plan that included breakfast, and it was even better than I expected. There was a wide variety of food, including bread, cereal, and fruit, as well as hot dishes. Everything was delicious, and I think you wouldn't get bored even if you stayed for several nights. Having a hearty breakfast meant I didn't run out of energy even when I went sightseeing straight away. The location is also very convenient. The area around the hotel has a calm and comfortable atmosphere, and you can see the sea just a short walk away. Best of all, it's easily accessible, with Valletta just a five-minute ferry ride away. Being able to easily travel to Valletta, home to many historic streets and tourist attractions, was a major benefit. The boat ride itself was scenic, making the travel time a little enjoyable. I think this hotel is suitable not only for those visiting Malta primarily for sightseeing, but also for those who want to relax. The price is reasonable considering the facilities and service, so I felt it was very good value for money overall. If you're not sure where to stay in Malta, this is one hotel you can choose with confidence. The only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't see the ocean from the window of my room."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was great, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. The rooftop pool was also fantastic. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Thanks to the wonderful hospitality, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable trip.
