"Wonderful classic Japanese resort hotel. The amenities and facilities of the hotel are perfectly considered for travelers who are looking for a pampered indulgent stay in Miyakojima. I stayed in the coral wing and the room was perfect. It has the classic Japanese bathroom with the bathtub next to a window that overlooks the Yonaha beach. Such an indulgent bathing experience. Service within the hotel was impeccable - from the restaurant, stores, beach house, drivers, concierge at reception and entranceway, housekeeping and more. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return to Miyakojima Tokyu the next time I visit MIyako."

"The hotel offers great value for money, is quiet and comfortable, and is located within the resort. Restaurants and souvenir shops are right across the street, and there's also a Little Sheep Hot Pot restaurant nearby. A shuttle bus service from the resort is available. A ten-minute walk will take you to a food stall where you can enjoy a meal while watching a performance."

"Great experience in Miyakojima! Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!). Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable. Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea. If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups."

"The hotel is in a very good location, with a very good BBQ restaurant directly opposite. The portions are large enough for two grown men. It is next to a convenience store, Yoshinoya and McDonalds. The most important thing is that the local day trip will pick up guests directly at this hotel. Very convenient. You must take a taxi to travel in Miyako. It costs about 1,400 yen to take a taxi to Miyako Airport, which is about 4 kilometers. The hotel breakfast is very good, rich and delicious, and you can eat a lot. Very good."

"Pros: The swimming pool and small beach are convenient for playing in the water; parking is close and ample; the rooms are spacious and functional; the hotel is clean; the staff speak Chinese; the housekeeping staff are very polite and smiling; the hotel shop has a wide selection of common souvenirs and local specialties. Cons: The surrounding dining options are not as numerous as in the city; latex pillows are not provided; and the breakfast options and variety are limited."

"Transportation: Even without a car, getting around is convenient. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Miyako Airport with a clear schedule. For daily outings, I relied entirely on public transport; several bus lines stop right outside the hotel, connecting to areas like Shimojishima. Waiting times were acceptable, but buses aren't super frequent, so checking the schedule beforehand is advisable. Environment: It boasts a prime beachfront location. When the weather was good, the ocean's color was stunning, truly giving off vacation vibes. The resort grounds are generally quiet, not too crowded, making it perfect for guests looking to relax and avoid bustling crowds. Facilities: The room size was adequate. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Public areas are practical; both the pool and beach were quite clean, providing a consistently good experience. Service: The service leans towards professional and efficient rather than overly enthusiastic, but responses were prompt, and communication was smooth, which was reassuring overall. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered a good variety, with both Japanese and Western options, and the quality was consistent – perfectly fine for several consecutive days. Dinner maintained a steady standard, and the price was reasonable for a resort hotel. It's a great option when you don't feel like going out. Surroundings and Overall Impression: Miyako Island generally has a slow pace, and its beaches are high quality. Using this hotel as a base, you can cover some major areas simply by using public transportation. Overall, my stay was very satisfying; the strengths were prominent, and any minor drawbacks were acceptable. If I return to Miyako Island, I would consider staying here again."

"The hotel has a simple design, with each room facing the harbor. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily, and the trash cans are large – great! There's a microwave and vending machine with ice on the third floor, and they also provide large paper cups for ice, which is wonderful. However, the refrigerator is tiny, only for refrigeration, not freezing. The lack of shelves in the shower is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is very good, with all the food being healthy; my favorite was the island tofu hot soup. There are many restaurants around the hotel. 200 meters ahead is a takeaway charcoal grill skewers shop; a box of four skewers costs an average of 600 NTD and is delicious. 350 meters behind is the nearest FamilyMart to the beach area. It's only a 10-minute drive to Don Quijote or AEON. For breakfast, you can go to the nearby rest stop (3 minutes drive) for noodles or seafood, and you can also buy souvenirs, bento boxes, bread, etc. – excellent amenities."

"The location is fantastic, very close to the airport, supermarket, and restaurants. You can easily get around by taxi or even walk. The room itself is huge, with four king-sized beds – I reckon it could comfortably sleep eight people! The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, so you can just pop over to the nearby Aeon for groceries and cook your own meals. There's also a really nice communal hot spring bath downstairs, which was a pleasant bonus."

"It was my first time staying in a container hotel, but it was comfortable and great. I appreciated getting various snacks with the vouchers provided. It was non-smoking, so there was no cigarette smell. There was also a laundry room and vending machines (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) on-site, so I could go whenever I needed something. They also provided one bottle of water per day, which was helpful when making instant noodles or other drinks."

"The hotel is wonderful. It’s just a what you need when staying in Miyakojima. It’s not super fancy or anything, but has everything you could need for a stay there. The only issue is that they don’t come to clean your room or change sheets or anything. We were there 6 nights. It would have been nice for someone to come and sweep the floor or wipe down the surfaces once or twice."
