Cheap Hotels in Maizuru

"I stayed one night at Hotel Route Inn Kyoto Maizuru with a late check-in, and I’m really glad I booked it—even just for a quick transit to another city the next day. Once you step out of Nishi-Maizuru Station, you’ll see the hotel right away. The location was super convenient for me, especially since I arrived from Hokkaido via ferry at Maizuru Ferry Terminal. Everything felt new and well-maintained. The room was surprisingly spacious for a solo traveler, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I’d stayed longer! I especially loved their onsen/public bath, which I used just before it closed at 2 AM. The breakfast was good too. If I remember correctly, there’s a nearby bar, restaurants, a Yoshinoya, and a Family Mart—so even though I arrived late, I still managed to have a proper meal."

I think it would be more comfortable if there was something like a bench in the room. There are no showers or toilets in the rooms, but the showers and toilets in the shared space were clean and separated for men and women, so there was no problem using them. The shared kitchen and living space were also spacious and easy to use, with tables and sofas. The kitchen was equipped with a refrigerator, dishes, and cooking utensils, so it would be fun to stay for a few days or have a good time with friends or family. Drinking water was also provided. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large paid parking lot right in front of the accommodation, which was very cheap and convenient at 500 yen for 24 hours. For a hostel or guesthouse, the facilities are new and the rooms are spacious, so I recommend it!"
