"Location is perfect for family stay. Very good room size. Little disappointed for few things below: (1) Private parking mentioned on description. But its not free. (2) Milk sachet provided only 2 for 2 people (3) There was a stain on the bedroom table. It means the table wasn't cleaned properly. (4) 2 single mattress provided on Double bed. Which is not comfortable for couple."

"The room had a traditional feel, with a key-operated door. The location was excellent, right opposite the pier with views of the English Channel. Bus route 12, which goes to the White Cliffs, was conveniently located nearby. **Hotel Location:** A 1km walk from Eastbourne train station. **Around the Hotel:** Plenty of dining options."

"We stayed at the Majestic Hotel for one night and got a very good price, as we only needed somewhere to sleep and weren't planning to spend much time there. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the outside of the hotel looks fairly presentable with a few seats at the front to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, things were less impressive once inside. The bar was closed, with signs saying they wouldn't be serving alcohol, and one of the lifts was out of order. The hotel itself feels very dated and is in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and fresh towels were provided, but it was quite tired. The carpet was heavily stained, one bedside cabinet had clearly fallen off the wall at some point and hadn't been replaced, and the ceiling light was hanging down with exposed wires, which was a safety concern. The curtains also looked like they hadn't been updated in decades. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom was extremely small, the sink was cracked, and the shower had a significant build-up of limescale. There was no hairdryer, although basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The biggest positive was the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for the cheapest possible place to sleep in a good location, it does the job. However, I personally wouldn't stay again and would rather pay a little more for a hotel that is more comfortable and better maintained."

"A Great Stay. I extended my time there after my initial booking. Amil, at reception, was polite and helpful and helped with all my requests. The room was one of the modernised ones and had nice bright decor with a very comfortable single bed and a very good bathroom with a Bath as well as a powerful shower. The hotel is in a perfect position - a walk to the town centre or the beach taking just minutes. I think that I booked for 1 or 2 days initially, but ended up staying for over a week, so that proves something. It was Excellent value as well - as a solo traveller I often stay in single rooms - but the Doubles/Twins didn't cost much more and I would have happily stayed in one of them if a single hadn't been available. If I had to pick negatives - No working Lift so that could be a problem for some and No Internet access - though I'm told the system is being upgraded. Again, not a problem for me. I'd certainly stay again and I intend to, soon. Well Done All."

"Upgraded to a suite, instantly felt refreshed by the sea breeze and ocean views. The spacious room with high ceilings was a perfect stress-reliever after work. The old-money-style bathroom was especially impressive. A truly wonderful choice for a relaxing getaway."
