Cheap Hotels in Menorca

"Hotel jeni is een juweel in es mercadal op menorca. De service is goed, de hygiëne is voortreffelijk en de maaltijd in het restaurant is van goede kwaliteit en niet duur. Ik ben erg tevreden zelfs in een 1-persoon kamer die redelijk groot is voor mij alleen. De lokatie is goed want het is op een loopafstand van het centrum van es mercadal en van een supermarkt. Ik gebruik es mercadal als een tussen station op weg naar de kust in het noorden want de bus van de luchthaven naar de kust gaat via es mercadal en beperkt tot maar 4x per dag. Hotel Jeni ligt strategisch op 2 minuten loopafstand van de busstation. Het weer medio maart is niet warm, zelden volle zon en winderig. Maar als de zon doorbreekt dan is het erg prettig."

"Merci à Trip de m'avoir aidé avec ma réservation et d'avoir réglé un petit souci rapidement. Concernant l'hôtel, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Honnêtement, le petit-déjeuner et le dîner sous forme de buffet étaient parfaits : il y avait beaucoup de choix et tout était très bon. La piscine est superbe et la vue sur la mer est magnifique. Le seul point négatif concerne le service client de l'hôtel avant notre arrivée. Heureusement, Trip a été présent pour nous accompagner et résoudre le problème rapidement. Merci encore !"

He took over a reservation for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) that we had made through trip.com for the 4 of us, but when we got to the reception it turned out that the hotel only had two adults on record. We complained by phone to trip.com and he did not want to know anything. Just a warning to those who use trip.com as they are playing tricks. Beware of low prices and customer service. A website scam. The hotel Mar de Menorca a ten. Thanks for your understanding."

"The room is not big, but the sea view is beautiful! The red-haired lady at the check-in front desk was very patient and nice, and explained every matter in detail! It gave us a very good impression when we first arrived at the hotel! Including booking a boat trip and a taxi to the airport, the entire front desk team was very active and professional! I especially want to emphasize the praise of the beautiful Manuela who is the receptionist at the cape nao restaurant on the ground floor. She is so nice, very enthusiastic and energetic! She helped us find a good dining seat, and asked us if the meal was cold and if we needed a shawl! She knew that girls like to take pictures, and she also helped us reserve a sea view table for dinner the next day! I was really touched! My whole heart was healed!"

"The staff and service were very friendly. The facilities were well-maintained. We were very comfortable in the room, with a large, comfortable bed and a quiet spot at the back of the hotel for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good, but dinner was a matter of taste and/or what you're used to in your normal life. I'd also choose the cold cuts served for breakfast for dinner. Peeled boiled eggs were better. They don't include non-alcoholic beer. Everything else was fine, but 20 euros for dinner was a bit pricey."

"We stayed at Isla Paraiso from 21/09/19-27/09/19. This is my sixth time staying here, and the second time as a couple! We are both in our mid 20’s. We had such a lovely holiday here! We booked this holiday 7 weeks before flying & got an amazing deal, half board. We were a little apprehensive booking a room in ‘building 2’ as we had always stayed in building 1 and the reviews on here are quite negative about ‘building 2’. We were really happy with our apartment (520) which was top floor (see photos). It was at the quieter end of the hotel, and overlooked the sea and the cliffs opposite which was beautiful! The rooms were decorated nicely and had one larger twin bedroom and a smaller double bedroom - perfectly sleeping 4 people if required. The kitchen area is very small, with 4 hobs, microwave and very small conventional cooker but if going self catering there are a great choice of places to eat in the resort. Despite sleeping 4 people, the balcony seated 2 (the balconies’ terraces in building 1 seat 4 and are slightly bigger). The resort itself was very quiet this time around but this was due to Isla Paraiso being a ‘thomas cook’ hotel predominantly and a large number of holidays were cancelled. It is a beautiful resort, with a great choice of bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach. Such a relaxing holiday! Please note though: there are a large number of steps and a large slope to the beach. The steps can be avoided by going a slightly longer route around the hotel to the beach though! Definately worth being mindful of you are disabled/ with a pushchair! I really hope that Thomas Cook going into administration does not impact upon this hotel. I would highly recommend a holiday here! ☀️☀️☀️☀️"

"I love the place. Great location, right next to the beach, and walking distance from Cala en Bosc district with bars and restaurants. Staff was helpful and the sunbathing area was huge. Love the breakfast buffet too!"
