"Facilities: Excellent, there's even a Starbucks on the first floor. They also showed the World Cup in the lobby at night, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the mini-fridge was a bit old and could use an upgrade. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Located during the World Cup, it's very close to Liberation Square and the Egyptian Museum of Archaeology, about a 30-minute walk. Service: Very good."

"I'd like to leave a review and sincerely praise this hotel – everything was simply top-notch! Location: Absolutely magnificent, with a direct view of the pyramids. This made our family trip truly special and unforgettable. Check-in and Rooms: We arrived very early, at 5 AM, and they accommodated us by giving us the keys immediately! The rooms themselves are very comfortable, fresh, and brand new. Restaurant: The food is incredibly delicious! I want to express my huge gratitude to the restaurant staff (a wonderful man and woman) – they are amazing, hospitable people who surprised us with pleasant treats from themselves on several occasions. Service: Special thanks to Amr at the reception. He was very kind, showed genuine care, always offered water, and helped with any questions. A big thank you to the entire team for the amazing service. We will definitely come back here again!"

"I was traveling solo as a woman, and this hotel was absolutely perfect! The location was amazing, with breathtaking views of the pyramids from both my room and the restaurant. Plus, the entrance to the pyramids was only about a 15-minute taxi ride away. The room itself was spotless, no complaints there. Breakfast was a buffet with made-to-order waffles and omelets, which was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful; the front desk even checked taxi fares for me beforehand to make sure I wasn't overcharged, and a staff member helped me confirm the taxi number outside. If you're looking for a hotel with pyramid views, you should definitely give this one a try! Highly recommended!"

"The service here is excellent, the location is okay but you will need to get taxis to get around if you want to visit tourist attractions. "The lady at the front desk of the hotel is very cute. The uncle who took our luggage to the room was very responsible. He also introduced us to places where we could have fun and where to buy souvenirs cheaply. He also said that there was a place not to go because the things were very expensive. I thought I had to tip him at first, but he walked away without looking back. He was absolutely serious and friendly. The road is being repaired at the door, so just walk a short distance inside. Be wary of illegal taxis around the hotel. Try to get a taxi in the room before going downstairs, otherwise the illegal taxi driver will keep harassing you. There is a computer on the first floor of the hotel for tourists to use. We used this computer to successfully book tickets on the train ticket booking website, and the Internet speed was also good."

"Special shout‑out to the front‑desk staff Osama! He provides excellent service and speaks really good Chinese, and he is still making great efforts to learn it. We arrived at the hotel at 7 a.m. in the early morning. Knowing check‑in was only available at 2 p.m., we planned to store our luggage here and come back later. Since we took an early‑morning flight, we were extremely hungry. Osama not only stored our luggage for us, but also kindly offered us complimentary breakfast, which was such a pleasant surprise. During check‑in, he helped deliver our luggage to our room, showed us around and introduced the room facilities thoughtfully. We really appreciate his warm help."

"I was lucky to booked this place for 4 nights stay , room was modern decor and very clean . When I arrival early in the morning at 9am , they just let me into my room to rest after an overnight train ride . Mr Mohammed’s family are in Giza area for few hundreds year, so basically they know every one in the area , if you need any resources just check with him . From guest house to pyramid or GEM only USD2 Uber ride will get you there . Thank You Mohamad arrange car n bring us to Sakkara n Giza pyramid , will definitely recommend to my friends and family to stay at Makai"

"Everything is great. Good locations to visit the Puranas. Just right outside the pyramid entrance. The view from the roof top is magnificent. Food was average.. but it’s edible. However, the only thing I like to mentioned is the amenities in the room isn’t too complete. We booked 2 rooms and Some of the rooms come w table lamp but the other doesn’t. Some of the room comes w plugs but another has no plugs at all so we request for a change of rooms. Couldn’t charge my phone or I have to sacrifice the Tv 🥲. So we asked for a change of rooms They also do not have hairdryer in the room and you need to ask for it. Of course they are very kind people but it’s just a hassle for customers. Another issues we encounter is the poor wifi connectivity and that gets into our nerves. Basically is weak connection thus it gets cut off or totally couldn’t locate the room number at all. Besides, room was comfortable and staff was very helpful and kind. I guess it’s consider a very good place to stay despite those little issues."

The pool was clean with comfortable loungers. There's a small fitness room and a spa offering massages. Breakfast offered a great variety: vegetables, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, and delicious pastries. Overall, it's a pleasant hotel for its price. Cons: The location is very unsettling; it's quite a scary area. You really need to take a taxi directly from the hotel to get around. However, there's a good supermarket right across from the hotel."
