"The rooms are clean, they cleaned them every day, the service was excellent, they helped with any questions, the windows from the room looked out onto the wall, so it was impossible to use the window, the views from the restaurant and from the pool to the pyramids are superb, the staff in the restaurant is excellent, but it is very dirty, the chairs are dirty, it was unpleasant to sit on, the prices are high. The breakfasts were terrible, there was almost no choice. I highly recommend the nearby cafe Beans & Brew, it is close, cheap and tasty, there is also a large good supermarket on the way"

"Service: Osama, who was incredibly enthusiastic, and another young man (whose name I didn't catch, but who spoke Chinese) were both fantastic. They helped me with my food delivery orders, including filling out the address and answering calls – so warm and helpful. It was reassuring to see so many Chinese guests staying here. (Though, a minor annoyance: the delivery driver didn't have change.) I had to leave early for the pyramids the next morning and missed breakfast, but I told Osama in advance and he saved breakfast for me. Coming back after sightseeing to such a meal was wonderful! Environment: It's just a street away from the luxurious Mena House, which costs 3000 (yuan?). Both the breakfast area and the rooms offer direct views of the pyramids. A taxi ride to either of the two pyramid entrances only takes a few minutes, which is super convenient. Facilities: The rooms are spacious, and there's plenty of hot water and air conditioning. Each room comes with two complimentary bottles of mineral water, which is more than enough. Finally, Egypt isn't as hot as people might think compared to China. Don't let the fear of heat deter you from visiting!"

"Great Stay Near Pyramids! I had a solid stay here. The hotel is clean and the hot water is excellent. The view of the Pyramids from the terrace is absolutely stunning, and it’s very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum. A few things to note: Amenities: There is no kettle and no hairdryer in the room. Pyramid Access: The entrance next to the Marriott is closed. You have to use the Sphinx entrance. I recommend taking a taxi there as the walk is very dirty. Transport: Use InDrive. Avoid Uber or Careem here as they try to scam a lot. Food: Visit Zeeryara Pyramids Elite (3 min walk). It’s a bit pricey for Egypt, but the food is perfect. Overall, a great spot for the price and the views!"

"Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant. They even helped us exchange currency. The room was clean and well-equipped with shampoo, shower gel, a hairdryer, a kettle, tea, coffee, and water. The room was quiet, and the curtains were thick, ensuring a good night's sleep. The pool was clean with comfortable loungers. There's a small fitness room and a spa offering massages. Breakfast offered a great variety: vegetables, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, and delicious pastries. Overall, it's a pleasant hotel for its price. Cons: The location is very unsettling; it's quite a scary area. You really need to take a taxi directly from the hotel to get around. However, there's a good supermarket right across from the hotel."

When I arrival early in the morning at 9am , they just let me into my room to rest after an overnight train ride . Mr Mohammed’s family are in Giza area for few hundreds year, so basically they know every one in the area , if you need any resources just check with him . From guest house to pyramid or GEM only USD2 Uber ride will get you there . Thank You Mohamad arrange car n bring us to Sakkara n Giza pyramid , will definitely recommend to my friends and family to stay at Makai"

"We arrived around 8:30am, a bit early, to drop off our luggage and start a tour of Cairo. The staff offered us a room, without any extra charge, which was great perhaps due to the season but it was fantastic. They also assisted us with Uber arrangements and luggage. Everyone was very helpful. When we left, the hotel asked the night before about our flight time and prepared boxed breakfasts as a kind gesture."

"The environment is decent, and the lobby service is okay. There was a security guard with a gun, and everyone's service attitude was very enthusiastic. Breakfast was very average, everything was sickly sweet, and there was no meat dish, just a very unappetizing sausage slice. The hotel is located about 30 meters down a small street next to a green park. I'd say the location is just so-so. There are often young hoodlum-like people in that park, and there are many shops next to this green park: McDonald's, Orange, a convenience store, banks, clothing stores, etc. The bed in the room was huge, the carpet was a bit dirty, and the facilities looked rather old. The housekeeping staff had a great attitude. To get into the room, you had to insert the key card and immediately pull it out. The quality of the card or the card reader was quite poor; I was stuck outside the door several times and had to call housekeeping to let me in. Then, one day, this broken card stopped working twice in a single day, forcing me to go to the lobby twice to get new ones!!! I tipped the cleaning staff 50 EGP, and they did an excellent job! They also fulfilled my request for extra water bottles!!! However, one day, I only had one towel in my room??? I have no idea what happened!!"

"This hotel has some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel truly welcome. Any question or request was answered immediately — they always helped, explained, and guided me with genuine care. There was a small issue with my room at first, but it was resolved right away. The staff quickly arranged a room change, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. I stayed in a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking — waking up and seeing the pyramids right in front of you is an unforgettable experience. I would also like to highlight the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfasts are served there, and you can also just relax or order food from the restaurant. Eating while overlooking the pyramids is something truly special. The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the Pyramids area — I even walked back to the hotel on foot after my visit. The Great Egyptian Museum is also just a 10–15 minute car ride, which is extremely convenient. Once again, the staff deserves special praise: very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. They speak English very well, which makes communication easy and comfortable. Airport transfer can be arranged both from and to the hotel, and payment at the reception is possible in both US dollars and Egyptian pounds. Highly recommended — a place where you feel cared for and truly enjoy every moment of your stay."

"An absolutely amazing experience! The owner speaks Chinese and used to be a translator for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and his hotel is truly excellent. It's a genuine 'pyramid view' room, which was a fantastic experience. The staff service is impeccable, and breakfast is delivered right to your room. The room hygiene is also top-notch. It's very close to the pyramids and the museum, and there's a supermarket downstairs. The hotel staff can even help you order takeout to the hotel. I really love this place!"
