"Very good stay at Lantingyuan Hotel. The hotel is new and has a modern elegant design, with spacious common areas. The furniture is tasteful and focused on tea style. Also a tea showroom space (open for selling goods) Service and responsiveness: - The staff promptly accommodated requests for two additional pillows. - We requested a quiet room away from the elevator, which was arranged successfully. Room and amenities: - The room features a thoughtful layout, with a separated shower and toilet. - The view is striking in the evenings, especially with the colorful LED lights from the neighboring hotel building. - Clean room Check-in and dining: - Check-in was fast. - We were offered one breakfast for two people for free during our two-night stay. - Free ice cream in the hall was a pleasant surprise. Minor drawback: - The minibar/fridge is not present, which is common in some hotels in China. Overall impression: - A very good stay with attentive staff and a strong design-forward vibe. Would consider returning for future visits."

"I feel that Mojiang itself is very boring. It may be because it is close to the Spring Festival and most of the shops are closed. It is just an underdeveloped small county. But this hotel is right next to the Tropic of Cancer, with convenient transportation and modern decoration. We stayed here temporarily on our way back from the trip. The room felt very homely and we had a good impression of the hotel."

"To visit the Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park, I stayed overnight in the small town of Mojiang. After much searching, I chose this Mysterious Encounter Ethnic Theme Hotel! Experiencing the hotel proved my choice was right. The hotel was fantastic in every way – from its infrastructure and cleanliness to the service details, the cultural ambiance, and its proximity to the attractions! My husband loved it too! The hotel has a partnership with the Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park and the Twins Cultural Park, saving you 5 yuan on tickets. (It's best to call the front desk to find out when the promotion ends.) Mojiang is known as the hometown of purple rice, and the hotel's purple breakfast was incredibly delicious. The fourth-floor restaurant is a succulent extravaganza, allowing you to indulge in a succulent feast – unfortunately, you can't take any home! The view from the restaurant overlooks the distant mountains; in the morning, there's a misty atmosphere, and in the afternoon, the sun shines brightly! The whole town is quiet and cozy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mojiang!"
