Cheap Hotels in Liuzhou

"A very comfortable stay! The room was simple, modern, and clean. Hyatt's 'Good Dream' mattress was so soft and comfy, I didn't want to get out of bed. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, there was a 55-inch large TV, and a separate workspace, all well-appointed. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. 😴 The breakfast was fantastic too! Enjoying a bowl of luosifen (river snail noodles) while admiring the river view at the Grand Gallery restaurant truly felt like the right way to experience Liuzhou! They had all the local specialties like Sanjiang zongzi and oil tea, with a rich mix of Chinese and Western options. What was even more surprising was that some of the most popular luosifen shops were right near the hotel, so we didn't have to drag our luggage around to queue. 😄 KRIS, one of the staff members, was incredibly thoughtful ❤️ and helped us with many issues. If I come to Liuzhou again, this will definitely be my top choice."

"I spent a long time looking at hotels before my trip to Liuzhou. Although this hotel has been around for a while, the facilities are still pretty good, and they offer all the necessary services. Upon check-in, Ah Fang at the front desk was fantastic and upgraded my room directly. On the first night, the laundry room was chaotic with long queues, but on the second day, the hotel arranged staff to manage the queue there. Guests only needed to fill out a form, and their laundry was delivered straight to their room once done – very thoughtful! Even though this isn't the newest hotel in Liuzhou, I'd still choose to stay here again next time I visit."

"🌟 Overall impression: A perfect haven for walkers and noodle lovers, but be prepared for the price tag. ✅ Pros: The location is an absolute winner! Right by the Liujiang River, you can step out for a riverside stroll, paddleboarding, or take a water bus. A 5-minute walk takes you to the Wuxing Pedestrian Street and Qingyun Market; 15 minutes to the Liuzhou Museum; and if you're up for it, 40 minutes to Yaobu Ancient Town and the Industrial Museum. I walked there at 5:30 PM and caught the stunning sunset over the ancient town 🌇. 💡 A personal tip for your visit: If you love taking photos, head to Yaobu Ancient Town; if you prefer less hassle, visiting the two museums is enough. Longtan Park is essentially a large city park, and a riverside walk offers a much better experience, so you might consider skipping it. Hotel amenities that add value: A delivery robot brings food directly to your room—just input your room number; there's a laundry room, great for longer stays; a convenience store downstairs; and next door, partnered hair washing and travel photography services, making things very easy. The entire downstairs area is lined with luosifen (snail noodle) shops, plus a hidden gem of a craft beer bar—all your eating and drinking needs are sorted right outside. ⚠️ Cons (being honest): The value for money is average. It's one of Liuzhou's top hotels, with weekend room rates often exceeding 900 CNY and suites starting from 2000 CNY. The cleanliness of common areas is above average, but the brunch buffet is mediocre, with no surprises. The room is clean and tidy, but not particularly spacious, perhaps a notch better than a Ji Hotel. The bar service is excellent, and it has a good ambiance, but the drinks are just ordinary. 📝 Summary: Very suitable for a short trip to Liuzhou. If your main goal is walking around, eating, and enjoying luosifen, this is a great choice. Local food tips: Luosifen is everywhere, so no need to stick to crowded influencer spots, although they do have their own charm. Xinyue Ali is my joint favorite. For beef hotpot, dining in is a better experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Liuzhou crabs are very well prepared! Overall, Liuzhou's consumption is friendly. It's scorching hot during the day, but the evening breeze is pleasant—make sure to bring sunscreen!"

"My overall stay had its ups and downs. Let's start with the positives: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Fengqing Port Night Market, making it super convenient for getting around, finding food, and shopping. The room was spacious, and the 2.7-meter bed was much larger than expected, making for a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, and the dining area offered fantastic views. The front desk and staff were also very attentive and helpful. However, the downsides were quite noticeable. As an older hotel, the hardware facilities are not well-maintained, and there's a clear quality gap compared to newer chain hotels. The room windows couldn't be opened and were blocked by an external frame, essentially offering no view. The in-room appliances and soft furnishings were old. The ceiling light by the door was constantly malfunctioning; it wouldn't turn on at all when I first checked in, and then it started flickering frequently and randomly at 4 AM, accompanied by loud noises, seriously disturbing my sleep. The bedding felt damp and sticky, giving an uncomfortable, clammy sensation. The air conditioning was also quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep at night. The self-service laundry facilities were equally disappointing; the washing machines were old, and the hotel didn't provide bottled laundry detergent, only bulk powder. Plus, the detergent dispenser had old, caked-on powder remnants, indicating poor cleaning and maintenance. In summary, the hotel shines in its location, food, and service, but the hardware facilities are in urgent need of renovation and upgrades."

It's also a short drive to Yaobu Ancient Town, Ma'anshan, and Shengli BBQ City, giving it an excellent geographical advantage. The lobby is grand and elegant, while the guest rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views. Equipped with the signature Wanda Realm bed, the mattress is soft, providing an exceptional sleep experience. The bathroom features a separate bathtub and shower, with a full range of amenities, and excellent soundproofing. The facilities are comprehensive, including a heated indoor pool on the 5th floor with clean water, a well-equipped gym, and a sauna and massage pool for relaxation. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, including local specialty dishes. The staff are professional and courteous. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the concierge proactively assisted with luggage. Requests were handled promptly, and they even thoughtfully recommended sightseeing routes around Liuzhou. This hotel is perfectly suited for both business trips and family vacations."

"Old ”4 star” hotels like this are gradually disappearing in China, but for me it was a welcome change and a welcome trip down memory lane (early 2000s). Amenities dated, but functional and spacious. Cleanliness was not optimal and neither was security level: everyone can go up the elevator and the safety box in the room was disfunctional. Breakfast very basic. Main restaurant and two entire floors closed. Looks like the place will close down or change completely in the near future. Happy I made it in time!"

"The hygiene is excellent, and the staff are warm and attentive. The facilities are great, and the hotel has a lovely environment, situated conveniently between People's Square and Liuhou Park. It offers easy access to transportation and scenic views. It's just across the road from Wuxing Pedestrian Street, with an underground passage leading directly there."

"This hotel is in a very convenient location! Across from it is Xinshihui Niuza, which is delicious and cheap. You can also walk to Caomei Snail Noodles, which is delicious! The hotel breakfast is also delicious, and the room is large and clean! The staff are also very nice. Overall, I was very satisfied and happy with my stay."

"We had a lovely stay at JI hotel. It is located only a short drive from Liuzhou railway station and not far from the main sites and attractions. The aesthetic is very modern and minimal, with loved the design of the lobby and rooms. Staff are very friendly and kind, always happy to help with our queries. The rooms are a little smaller than other hotels I've stayed in China but still enough space to not feel cramped. Facilities are clean, rooms have a fridge and water was provided daily. I would recommend anyone coming to Liuzhou to stay at this hotel."
