"Welcome desserts, welcome fruit: They offered flower cakes and small fruits, which was very thoughtful.
Facilities: The facilities are average but have everything you need.
Hygiene: The hygiene is good, and they clean punctually every morning and noon.
Environment: It has the advantages of an old house, warm in winter and cool in summer. It also has the common disadvantage of old houses, which is slightly poor soundproofing, but the owner provided earplugs. However, the neighbors were very considerate, so I didn't even need them.
Service: The service was excellent. They called in advance to confirm the check-in time and thoughtfully prepared Jianhui food and travel guides, especially the station pick-up/drop-off service, which was very considerate.

"Staying at the Mantoo Garden Hotel in Jianshui was truly heartwarming and comfortable! The room was very spacious, with plenty of room left even after placing a sofa and luggage. The bedding was incredibly soft, making for a wonderfully comfortable sleep. The latex pillows were supportive yet gentle. All the facilities were new; the smart speaker 'Xiao Du' was very responsive, hot water was plentiful, and the air conditioning worked great. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless and odor-free, and it was very quiet at night. The front desk and housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. The hotel's sky garden was peaceful and elegant, and the location was convenient for getting around. While the breakfast wasn't luxurious, it offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, the value for money is excellent. Staying here in Jianshui was hassle-free and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"This is the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at. The butler was very efficient and even drove us on short shuttle trips 😉. The laundry and dryer service also helped fold and deliver our clothes to the room. Every afternoon, after a tiring day out, we'd return to find a fresh fruit platter on the table, instantly making all the day's fatigue disappear. Three days simply wasn't enough; I wished I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately, I hadn't planned ahead and the rooms were fully booked. It's incredibly close to all the attractions, just a few minutes' walk. The hotel itself is an attraction, with a grand old building housing a tea stall open to the public. Every morning before the crowds arrived, I'd do my morning exercises there. Surrounded by small bridges, flowing water, black swans, ancient architecture, and lush greenery – I can't express how delightful it was!"

"I couldn't book the same room type for two consecutive nights, so I had to book different room types for each night.
The difference between the 'pool view' room and the 'Xiang Tang' room is that one has an openable window and the other doesn't. I stayed in the pool view room on the first night and it wasn't noisy at all. However, my experience in the 'Xiang Tang' room on the second night wasn't as good. The restaurant is right downstairs, and even at 10 or almost 11 PM, there were still children making noise on the platform. Closing the window helped a bit. The cleanliness wasn't great either; there were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor. I hope they pay more attention to this.
Everything else was pretty good. At least I didn't experience any power outages or room maintenance issues. They also provide toiletries for children."

"The hotel room's decor is stylish, and the facilities are high quality, especially the windows, which are incredibly soundproof. Even though there's an amusement park outside, the room is completely quiet once the windows are closed. The lights on the bedside switch panel are motion-activated, so they're not blinding at night. They light up when you raise your hand, making it easy to see which switch to use – the attention to detail is excellent. The front desk service was also very good; Xiaozhang and Xiaoping, who checked me in, were both very welcoming.
The only downside was the parking security. We were driving a B-type RV, which couldn't fit in the underground parking, so we parked in the hotel's outdoor lot. In the evening, while we were having tea in the RV, a security guard came directly to our door and knocked, telling us to move. The parking lot was quite empty at the time, so parking wasn't an issue. The security guard clearly had something against RVs. He only left after we told him we were hotel guests. I'm not sure if this was his personal behavior or if the hotel trained him this way, but there's no need to treat all RVs like a plague. I understand his job, but to knock on the door and shout when someone isn't putting anything outside and the car door is closed, and then target their vehicle in an empty parking lot, seems quite malicious. I think the hotel handled this aspect very poorly."

"An absolutely five-star experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location by Guangci Lake, where locals often stroll in the mornings and evenings, giving it a very authentic feel. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the Zitao Street night market and a 7-8 minute drive to the ancient city. As it's a historical-style building, enjoying afternoon tea or breakfast at the hotel is delightful. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. The overall service is also very attentive. Parking is convenient right outside the door. We had lunch at the hotel before leaving, and the food quality was superb, with fresh seasonal fruits. If I ever come to Jianshui again, I would definitely choose this hotel."

"The hotel is located just outside the Old City, diagonally opposite Yongzhen Gate, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's managed by Yunnan Provincial Hotel Management. While it's a tad old-fashioned, the facilities are complete, and it's clean and tidy. The room I booked was large and very comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was also quite varied and tasty. Most importantly, parking was easy, and I feel it offers much better value for money than the guesthouses inside the Old City. The only downside is that the three elevators take too long, especially during breakfast hours."

"The room was very spacious. It also had Xiaodu, which I could call to ask for anything I needed. It was very convenient. The staff smiled at me when they saw me, which made me feel better. There were also robots delivering meals. Because I checked in late, I checked out today, and the hotel extended my check-out time without any extra charges. It's really great to have such a nice hotel in a small county like Jianshui, and the price is so affordable. The service was great, and the stay was very comfortable. I'll stay here again next time I have the chance. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. 😋"
