The owner and staff were incredibly warm and attentive, recommending fantastic sightseeing routes and sharing local food and stories – their service was impeccable. The room was spotless, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, making for a very peaceful stay. I highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Laomudeng; the experience will be absolutely fantastic!"

"During the Nujiang Loop Tour, I chose to stay in Laomudeng, the most beautiful village. I found this hotel online. The location of the hotel is very good! Parking is very convenient! Then it was newly renovated, very new! ! ! The bed was very comfortable. I had the most comfortable night's sleep in Nujiang. When I woke up in the morning, I could see Crown Mountain from the balcony. The children had a lot of fun on the 180-degree balcony. The boss was very enthusiastic and answered all questions. It’s really great! ! When you go out of the hotel, turn left to reach the church in 3 minutes. It only takes a few minutes to go to Zhiziluo. For breakfast, we had rice noodles cooked by the landlady, which was very good! The child said that the meat sauce and potatoes were delicious, and he would come and stay for a few days next time! !"

You're required to pay a 200 deposit upon check-in, and at check-out, you have to wait for a room inspection before you can leave. "A mountain-view hotel recommended by a friend in Kunming. I was instantly captivated by its description and drove over 2,000 kilometers from Guangzhou to Zhiziluo just to experience it firsthand. Following the Nujiang River, we drove up the mountain from its foot, passing through Laomudeng Village and the old town of Zhiziluo. Taking photos along the way, we arrived at the hotel before we knew it. Upon arrival, I was absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views. This is, without a doubt, the hotel with the best views and facilities I've ever stayed in. Every corner exuded a sense of luxury. Thank goodness we booked two nights; otherwise, I would have regretted it deeply. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, with ample space between each, ensuring privacy and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are incredibly spacious, featuring a separate walk-in closet, a dedicated mountain-view soaking tub, and a full bathroom. There's even a small additional room with bunk beds, perfect for children. The absolute highlight is the ability to enjoy the unparalleled mountain views directly from the bed, the balcony, or while relaxing in the bathtub. The scenery changes constantly from dawn to dusk, keeping my phone busy capturing every moment. The hotel's breakfast offers a well-balanced and nutritious spread; both the Ersi (rice noodles) and MiXian (rice vermicelli) were exceptionally tasty. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel, and the chef's culinary skills were outstanding. Their unique Lacquer Oil Chicken Hotpot is a must-try, allowing you to enjoy both hotpot and barbecue simultaneously. The portions are very generous, easily enough for four people. I've already recommended this hotel to all my friends and plan to bring my elderly parents here next time for them to enjoy a relaxing stay."
