"The hotel's location is excellent, right at the entrance of the scenic area. The visitor center is within walking distance, and it's on the same commercial street as other Marriott hotels. The hotel facilities are very new, and the style is modern and minimalist. Breakfast is plentiful. There's no elevator, but the rooms are only on up to the third floor, so it's not a big issue if your luggage isn't too heavy. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay."

If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. "This was my first time visiting Wudang Mountain, and I was lucky to choose a hotel in the Nanyan area. It was super convenient for climbing Golden Summit, and visiting Nanyan Palace and Zixiao Palace!
Taihe Ziyin is the best hotel in the Nanyan area. I opted for a 'Cloud View' room, and on the first day, it was shrouded in mist, while on the third day, I got to witness the sunrise right from my room! The service was good, especially the hotel's private chef. After climbing Golden Summit, I didn't want to go anywhere else, so I ordered tomato and egg noodles at the hotel. Simple, yet delicious!
The staff were all very nice! The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room was a bit old. It was quite cold when I first arrived on the mountain, and even with the AC on all night, it wasn't particularly warm, and it was noisy. On the second day, I asked for a space heater, one of those fan heaters. While it kept my legs and feet warm, it was also noisy. At night, I still had to resort to using the AC. Luckily it wasn't winter, otherwise, it might have been unbearable. If they could provide better space heaters, it would be pretty perfect."

"The front desk staff were incredibly kind on my first day, even giving me a room upgrade. The service throughout was excellent, not at all robotic or by-the-book, which made me feel very comfortable.
The nights were quiet, and I slept wonderfully.
No issues with hot water in the bathroom either. The laundry room was a convenient bonus, and the parking lot was spacious.
Two major highlights:
The breakfast was surprisingly delicious – both the hot dry noodles and beef noodles were great, and the stir-fries were good too.
And the shuttle service to the scenic spots? Absolutely fantastic, I'd give it ten stars!"

"It was my first time to Wudang Mountain. I didn't make any travel guides and chose a homestay blindly. It completely exceeded my expectations. The boss is a beautiful girl with a nice voice and excellent service. I went hiking every day with the three-day ticket. Although it was only one kilometer away from the tourist center, the boss picked me up every day. I am grateful for the blessing of the ancestors. It was perfect for my first trip to Wudang."

"We got a deluxe Queen Room. There really isn't anything to fault with the hotel except the price is really exorbitant given the amenities. There isn't any bath robe provided for example, when hotels priced at 5 times lesser provided them. Breakfast was also super limited with no tea and coffee. Basically you are paying 4-5 times the price for just one thing - Location, location, location. It is the only hotel nearest to golden summit."

"The room was tiny and the furniture felt really cheap. What I hated most was the showerhead; I tried adjusting it forever, but no hot water came out. Even after a staff member came to fix it, it still wasn't right, but it was too late to bother further. The mattress was also uncomfortable. Plus, there's an elementary school right behind the room, so it gets noisy super early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep in. The location is downtown, so food delivery is convenient, and it's close to Yuxu Palace, which you can visit in the afternoon."

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! I just randomly booked it when I was searching, and I got incredibly lucky. The owner is amazing, so warm and thoughtful! My friend and I dropped off our luggage and went to explore Nanyan. When we were done and ready for dinner, we checked out a few places nearby, but the food looked like typical tourist group meals. So, we decided to head back to the guesthouse. As soon as we reached the entrance, we saw a table set for other guests, and the dishes looked and smelled incredible. We ordered the local braised chicken and stir-fried eggs with wild greens. I was just thinking how nice it would be to have some glutied rice wine soup for dinner, and then the owner brought out a bowl of it, saying it was on the house! It was like my wish came true! The owner also upgraded our room, and we could watch the sunrise right from our bed 🌅. Breakfast was also super delicious. I usually don't eat much, but I devoured not only the owner's fried rice and congee, but also a whole bowl of beef noodles – absolutely amazing, and there was still so much beef at the bottom of the soup. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Nanyan. It's great value for money, and the owner is wonderful, just like family, so kind and friendly! I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"We had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the food was tasty, and the location/views superb. But more than any of that, the next-level service provided by the staff was perhaps the best I have ever received. We had a lot of difficulty navigating the Wudangshan bus system, hiking timing, etc, and the staff were always willing to discuss and solve problems for us over WeChat. Without them our trip would not have been possible. Highly recommend."
