"I highly recommend Ibis! I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM on my check-in day, as my friend was taking me to a local attraction and I just wanted to drop off my luggage. I casually asked if there were any available rooms, and to my surprise, the young man at the front desk checked and found one, then efficiently arranged for me to check in. It was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were principled, efficient, and genuinely warm. :) The hotel's central location is fantastic – you can get everywhere easily. Housekeeping is on demand; just hang the 'clean' sign outside if you'd like your room serviced, which is also very ESG-friendly. The shower was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was decent, though a little more variety would be a nice touch."

"We stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel is okay, there is a lot of permanent residents in the hostel so the kitchen is busy and not a big size so can get too much. There was then food left out and dishes left around so didn’t feel clean. However the rooms were clean and hoovered everyday we were there so that was the main thing for us as we didn’t use the kitchen as much. They did offer breakfast included which was basic but nice (few muffins, cereal and hot drinks etc) in addition dinner was included but was the same meals that seem repeated The staff were nice and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning from the bus service (6:00 am) having a member of the team on for this time would be helpful as we had to sit in the living room section with someone asleep on the sofa and two others eating breakfast. It would mainly help with the smoothness etc but once someone arrived they were able to check us into a room straightaway which was amazing! Location is good as it’s near the bus terminal and around a 15 min walk to the centre of Adelaide."

"The bathroom in the room is semi-transparent, offering no privacy, light blocking, or soundproofing between the bathroom and the main room. The breakfast buffet offered very few options, no real dishes, and lacked variety. The cooking quality was far below that of comparable hotels, even budget ones, both domestically and internationally. As an ovo-vegetarian, my only edible options were dry toast and not-so-fresh fruit. The only egg option was buttered scrambled eggs, with no boiled eggs available, nor any of the usual hot items like mushrooms, potatoes, or cold items such as tomatoes and lettuce. The drip coffee was basically flavored water. My travel companion, who eats a regular diet, found the buttered scrambled eggs to be the worst they'd ever tasted. They only offered either sausage or bacon each day, instead of at least two choices daily. Fried noodles, fried rice, and fried potatoes were also rotated, with only one available per day and no other options. There were no vegetables at all, hot or cold, and the fruit wasn't fresh, which they found both unfamiliar and unacceptable. The drinking water and the bathroom water in the room were both salty. Brushing my teeth felt like using saltwater and required a rinse with store-bought bottled water afterward. The towels were old and discolored, no longer white, and the bedding was similar. The only charging outlets in the room were standard three-pin sockets and USB ports."

"Not a bad hotel for a short stay. Comfortable bed, well appointed room and conveniently located within a short stroll away from Central Market and Rundle Street. Could have been a better experience if there was toothbrush packs, vanity kits and bedroom slippers included in the room."

"Had a wonderful stay at the hotel, beginning with the very friendly and helpful staff at reception, who happily stored my luggage as I had arrived before check in time. The suite was very spacious and comfortable, very clean bathroom with all the amenities inc hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, etc. I had asked for a quiet room and they delivered with a suite at the end of the corridor. There is also water refilling stations at each level. Hotel is at an excellent location, everything within walking distance inc the bus stop for the airport bus and the free bus service. There is a wonderful restaurant at the hotel itself."

"The hotel's location is convenient, within a 10-minute walk to Central Market. The room was clean and soundproof, and the environment was quiet. Special praise: The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. I was on a 2-day tour, so I had two separate stays and stored my luggage at the hotel. However, the local tour was delayed, affecting my check-in and luggage retrieval time. They were excellent, confirming everything via email, helping to arrange things, and even delivering my luggage to my room. Truly, truly fantastic! 👍👍👍"

The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne (Worst value for money) The Park Hyatt Melbourne stood out as having the best service among all 11 hotels. We arrived around 5:00 PM and were informed our room wasn't quite ready, requiring a 10-15 minute wait. Before I could even react, the front desk staff immediately offered complimentary breakfast for the next day as an apology, along with a voucher for two drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. Of course, we happily accepted! The hotel's location is a little outside the very center, situated behind Parliament House and right next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which you can see from the rooms. Fitzroy Gardens, home to Cook's Cottage, is also within walking distance and worth a visit. I was very impressed with the hotel's amenities. The room even had a three-prong power outlet, a feature I didn't find in any other hotel. The 'old money' decor gave it a grounded and understated elegance. Breakfast was excellent and very extensive, with freshly made Western pastries that were incredibly delicious. I heard their flat white is even better than those from popular specialty coffee shops. The heated pool was long and narrow, feeling like it was definitely more than 25 meters. There's also a tennis court available for A$50 an hour, though you need to bring your own racket."

"I highly recommend the Adina Apartment Hotel Adelaide Treasury! It offers excellent value for money. The hotel has a charming European style, it's elegant and compact, and spotlessly clean throughout. The location is perfect – quiet yet close to the action. It's about a 10-minute walk to the CBD, and there are also bus routes available. The hotel has a spacious common kitchen with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is available outside the hotel for $25 per person. The hotel doesn't provide free slippers or toothbrushes; slippers are $3 and toothbrushes are $2 if you need to buy them. I'd suggest bringing your own if you don't want to purchase them on-site. The only minor downside was that the duvet was encased by two sheets, which made it feel a bit less clean. Otherwise, everything was perfect!"

"Overall good, and the location is convenient. It's easy to pick up a car from Europe Car in the city center, and it's also very close to the pedestrian street. It's lively yet quiet. Using a Trip.com room voucher made it very cost-effective."
