Even though this time capsule cabin is located in the sometimes rainy Pacific Northwest, every day is a chance to seek at least a little bit of sunshine peaking through. 2 bedroom/ 1 bath cabin overlooking Filucy Bay near the town of Longbranch, Washington. Enjoy all the comforts of home but in a remote and quiet location. Perfect for the guests who are looking for a peaceful retreat from the city. (At least one published book and one produced film have been written at this serene setting.). The cabin was built circa 1968 and retains many of its original features. West facing for perfect sunset watching while you sip wine or read a good book. Walk on the beach and collect shells from Puget Sound. It is not unusual for the local seals to flop their way onto our floating dock for overnight sleeping. A lovely area for long walks on quiet roads. We are unable to accommodate dogs, cats, or other animals at this home. Grill, patio furniture, and/or hammocks are available Memorial Day through Labor Day. They may not be available outside of these dates. Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.The hot tub chemicals are balanced twice a week. The tech is onsite for approximately 15 minutes. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities. Please consult with your doctor prior to use if this applies to you.Infants are counted within the max occupancy of our home and should be registered as children. A ring security camera captures video of the driveway and front porch. It is on and recording 24/7 regardless of occupancy.We have partnered with local service providers to provide the following optional ad-on services.
