"We typically state at the Nittany Inn, but decided to try the sister hotel. We were not disappointed as the hotel was clean, service was great and the Legends restaurant food was delicious! The stay was quiet and had everything we could have asked for! Would definitely stay here again!"

"It is a beautiful hotel with a great location if you’re visiting a PSU student (which we were). The rooms are spacious and clean. The group I traveled with (two couples) all found the pillows extremely uncomfortable. We had Easter brunch at the hotel. The service and setting were excellent but the food was pretty mediocre."

"Overall satisfaction. There were no complaints from first-time travelers about the facilities, cleanliness, staff service, etc., so the whole family was able to have a comfortable time. This is a hotel I highly recommend to those looking for a hotel near State College."

"The hotel rooms were small, and the soundproofing was so-so. Breakfast options were limited, and there were no eggs; we were stuck with homemade waffles and jam every day. The only advantage was its proximity to the main road leading to State College; it only took five minutes to drive to PSU. There was a Chinese restaurant on the right-hand side of the main road from the hotel, and an Asian supermarket across the street, which we hadn't noticed while staying at the hotel."

"The hotel facilities are relatively new, two blocks away from Wal-Mart, and there are several restaurants nearby. Breakfast was simple."

"PROS: excellent location, short drive to PSU, brand new, comfortable. CONS: Front desk staff terribly under-trained. Breakfast was depressing compared to other TRUs I have stayed at. Parking lot spaces and aisles are so small it’s difficult to maneuver into a spot between other vehicles. BIGGEST CON: I booked and paid for 2 rooms in advance. After I checked out, an additional charge appeared on my statement as if I had booked a 3rd room. When I contacted the hotel, they couldn’t explain the charge but said the manager would return my call. Corporate couldn’t help at all. Trying to resolve it was incredibly frustrating. The undertrained front desk clerk should not have tried to argue with me about the charge they could not explain, the manager should have returned my call within 2 business days, or I should have been able to speak with a representative versed in billing. When I didn’t hear back from the manager after 3 days, I just did a chargeback through my bank since it was obviously an error."
