Blooma Boutique Hotel & Kosher Restaurant ★★★★
"The best hotel experience we had in a very long time. We were welcomed with complementary house cocktails upon checking in ( we also got an early check-in with no charge ) Everything is a brand new with top of the line facility and super thoughtful service. The pool in the Jacuzzi were great, the breakfast was super good and the cocktails are all handcrafted and very tasteful. They even have an elevator which I personally never saw in any hotel in Santa Teresa before. The room was very cozy with high ceilings and a nice balcony facing the pool , super comfortable king size bed, and very spacious shower and bathroom space. The Concierge helped us book a four wheeler rental, surfing lesson, and even a flight from Santa Teresa to San Jose. Very good experience in all aspects and we definitely coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special ❤️"
Aduana House ★★★
Nautilus Surf & Yoga Villas Santa Teresa ★★★
"Money stolen out of my room on twice. The second time was 100% verified. Hand counted the money before the cleaners entered the villa and hand counted after they left. 180.00 stolen. Remember to use the locking safe and video tape the belongings you are locking in the safe."
Horizon Hotel & Yoga Center ★★★★
"Hotel Horizon Yoga Retreat is an absolute gem in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. A beautifully landscaped retreat perched on the hillside across from the beach, it offers the most breathtaking ocean views every single morning. Waking up, drinking my coffee, and reading my book in the hammock on our porch while overlooking the ocean was pure bliss. The location is perfect. Hotel Horizon is within easy walking distance to so many great restaurants and Super Ronny (in our opinion, the best supermarket in town). And of course, the beach is just across the street, with a convenient access path at the bottom of the hill. That hill the hotel sits on? Consider it a built-in workout—a great way to build your calves and glutes on the walk back up to your room and the perfect excuse to walk off some of the amazing dinners we enjoyed. The breakfast here is hands down the best in town. Everything is thoughtfully crafted using organic ingredients—many of which the owners grow themselves. The shakshuka was our absolute favorite. I’ve had the famous Dr. Shakshuka in Israel, and I can confidently say Horizon’s is even better. They also offer fantastic gluten-free options, like the gluten-free pancakes with Nutella and sliced bananas (a must!), plus incredible smoothies. I could never choose just one, so I’d order a “whatever” shake—and it was delicious every single time. I also appreciated the dairy-free options like oat milk and almond milk. If you’re gluten- or dairy-free, they will absolutely accommodate you. After full days walking the beach, exploring town, and enjoying incredible dinners and drinks, we always came back to the most comfortable beds. I loved the thoughtful touch of providing both a squishy pillow and a firm pillow. The rooms also have fans and A/C units, which were perfect for cooling off after warm tropical days. Our cabins (4 and 5) were connected by a shared kitchen, which was incredibly convenient for leftovers, making coffee or tea, and anything else we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the mini fridge made it easy to store food and drinks. The cabin location was ideal—perfectly situated between the pool/tea house and the parking lot, which is guarded at night. We felt very safe. Each room also includes a safe for passports and valuables, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. You can truly tell how much they care about Hotel Horizon and the family who runs it—every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I also enjoyed morning yoga and a morning sound bath. I don’t normally practice yoga, but this was a wonderful flow with great stretching and core work. The instructor and owner, Yoav, has the most calming and grounding voice, guiding you through each movement. Opening your eyes to unobstructed ocean views during practice is truly special. The sound bath—one of their newer offerings—was incredibly relaxing and set a very high "

The Cafecito Surf School & Guesthouse ★★
"Staying at the Cafecito Surf School and Guest House was an excellent experience. Chelsea and Lenny make you feel welcome, not only as a guest, but as a friend. They offer surf classes of all levels and they constantly check on you and offer you help or suggestions. They even make sure you got to your next destination. Highly recommend staying there."

"Laloon Luxury Suites exceeded all expectations! From the opulent decor to the impeccable service, every moment was a delight. The breathtaking views and luxurious amenities made our stay unforgettable. A truly exceptional experience, highly recommended for indulgent getaways!"
Banana Beach Bungalows
"The room is very simple, quite sadly furnished and dirty. The general assistance is quite poor due to the limited. Be carefull to organize activities with them cause they will charge you more money just to keep something for themselves. The Banana Beach Club is very bad. The worst drinks I had in all Costa Rica. Staff very improfessional!!!!"
