Parco Dei Principi ★★★★
"Our experience at the Parco dei Principi hotel was positive. The structure is completely immersed in greenery, the room is very welcoming, equipped and well-kept, the bathroom needs some updating. The sea is just 100 meters away, and it is located a few kilometers from the famous archaeological site of Paestum. The staff is very polite, very kind and super helpful, the real jewel in the crown was the restaurant, exquisite dishes in a delightful location, the only flaw, if we want to be really touchy, was having asked at the table during lunch and dinner for immediate payment of drinks not included, it would have been perhaps more elegant to ask for the room number and have them pay at check out. Absolutely recommended."
Mec Paestum Hotel ★★★★★
"When we arrived in the room (very small and located at the end of the 1st floor, with a view of the roof, shower inside the bedroom and WC at the entrance) we found it full of ants and insects, both alive and dead) we asked for explanations given that the staff were knowledgeable and had sprinkled the room and toilet with powder to kill the ants. Answer: At the moment we do not have other rooms available for a change and they offer us a change of hotel about a kilometer away PAESTUM INN BEACH RESORTE 4 stars instead of 5 stars of the MEC PAESTUM or alternatively they would have given us something back. In the end we accepted, even though the location was outside the town and a type suitable for the sea. Obviously it wasn't what I wanted and less than what I requested and paid for. No refunds from the property. Definitely avoid next time."
Hotel le Palme ★★★★
"4-star hotel, excellent breakfast with everything and very good service, congratulations! Average rooms but very clean and well-kept, the beds are also excellent. Staff always very kind and helpful with the exception of Marisa, head receptionist, who throughout the week always had an annoyed and irritating attitude towards any request... we're not there! Very good entertainment for adults and children."
Oleandri Resort Paestum ★★★★
"Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed by the reception staff. We were neatly taken to our room by golf cart. The room was very clean and spacious. A bathroom and floor with beautiful Italian colored tiles and a spacious balcony with a view of the well-kept planting of the resort, everything made it a very pleasant stay. The beds were firm and I still regret not asking which pillows they were. I have never had such fantastic pillows in a hotel; not too thick, not too soft, but just right for everyone. All the staff is very friendly (even though we hardly speak Italian) and everyone is really focused on making the stay pleasant for the guests; from the staff in the restaurant to the people who take care of the garden every day. Our luggage had not arrived in Naples and the reception staff helped us very well with tracing it. In addition, with tips for shopping malls to buy the necessary items that we missed because we had no luggage. The resort is beautifully maintained and also outside everything is clean and tidy. The pool is clean and beautifully situated between Oleanders and Tuscan jasmine. The resort has rooms in the main building, around the pool and in a second ring around it. The rooms in the 'second ring' are quieter, but also have a view of the beautiful flowering garden. We were well informed in advance about the fact that there were a number of weddings during our stay and on which days they were. The pool may have closed an hour earlier, but we were not bothered by that at all. Around the pool there are a lot of sunbeds, sun umbrella's and there is space for you in the sun or shade under the trees. After a short walk through a pine forest you arrive at the private beach of the resort. So you always have the choice between the pool and the beach (with sunbeds). The breakfast is very good and there is really nothing missing. The dinner is fine, one day a little better than the other (after all, tastes differ). But every evening there is a choice between various starters, main courses and desserts. The prices for the dinner are in line with Northern European prices. The Paestum ruins are about a 5 minute drive from the resort (a car is needed). Having a drink in the afternoon with a view of the ruins is a nice way to end a beach/pool day. Pompeii or Herculaneum is about a 1 hour drive from Oleandri, but definitely doable for a day trip. In short, for us it was a wonderful stay and we certainly hope to come back at Oleandri!"
Tenuta Duca Marigliano Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is just fantastic. From the style of the structure and rooms, to food, services! The staff is also very friendly and available."
Savoy Hotel & Spa - Preferred Hotels & Resorts ★★★★★
"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were speechless with every aspect of this exceptional hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The grounds were kept in impeccable order and the hotel itself was by far the best we have stayed in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone…..just beautiful. "
Hotel Cerere ★★★★
"The hotel is magnificent, the beach is very clean, my room in the Residence was very clean, I traveled to Paestum in July and they treated me very well, but I want to highlight the attention and the good reception service of the night gentleman I think His name is Gianfranco, every morning he makes me the best Cappuccino I've tried during my stay in Italy, 5 stars to the South American."
Borgo La Pietraia ★★★★
"Everything at the Borgo is designed so thoughtfully and the atmosphere is incredibly beautiful. The. Food. OMG. I am a vegan and the creative dishes adjusted for my diet were unique gourmet delights! The staff are so wonderful, they seem to love their work and are so helpful. Thank you to @feastonhistory for bringing me to this magical place."
L'Orologio Bed & Breakfast ★★★★
"We were in the "clock tower" for the second time - and will come back. The price/performance ratio is convinced, breakfast is OK. (Italy keeps) the holder is friendly, the small place is just nice. There are at least 2 restaurants in foot distance where you can really eat well."

B&B la Chora di Paestum
"We enjoyed our 1-night stay here. The B&B is within short walking distance from the archeological park. The owner was very nice and friendly and recommended some restaurants for dinner (even though communication was hard as we don't speak Italian and the owner speaks no English). Breakfast was very good, and some special requests were happily accommodated. Our only problem was that both in the evening and the morning, there wasn't enough hot water in the room even for a single, short shower."
Aquamaris Design Suite & Spa
"The hotel itself is beautiful and in a lovely location, which makes it even more disappointing that the service did not match the quality of the property. Before arriving, I specifically requested a quiet room by email and message. Instead, I was given a room right next to the breakfast preparation area, where noise started early every morning. When I raised the issue, rather than trying to find a suitable solution, I was offered a room with no windows, which was clearly not a comparable alternative. The way my concern was handled made me feel like I was being difficult simply for asking for what I had requested in advance. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The staff member, Paola, was unfriendly and came across as impatient. My daughter and I were waiting to have breakfast and simply asked for milk for our cornflakes. As she was chatting with other guests, I had to ask three times before we received it. Instead of responding politely, she became rude, which was unnecessary and made us feel unwelcome. The breakfast itself was also below expectations. There was virtually no savoury selection, only a few pre-packaged or pre-made small cakes and sweet items, making it quite limited compared with what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its attractive setting and facilities, but the poor customer service and lack of hospitality significantly affected our stay. With friendlier staff and more attention to guests’ requests, it could be an excellent place to stay."
B&B da Francesco
"Vote 10 confirmed by the holder Francesco, sympathetic, available and always ready to offer a coffee and welcome you in the morning with a very good breakfast, made with products made at home mostly and excellent quality. Recently renovated rooms, bathrooms, breakfast rooms... all new. Great to relax in Cilento and visit the beaches in the surroundings, temples and bourgs such as Agropolis or Castellabate. Trust Francesco, he is keeping us in his business and doing everything to make you feel comfortable."
Hotel Schuhmann
"Except for the location and the breakfast, the rest is pretty average. Most of the rooms are outdated, Air Conditioning is basically not existing (the lowest temperature in the room that we were able to get was 26C/79F, and that was in the middle of the night, 28/82 during the day with shades on so forget the ocean view), and they won’t even supply you with a simple fan to compensate for it. Private beach is nice, but if there is one thing we will remember of this place is the constant sweat and the inability to cool off anywhere, even in our own room."
Paestum Inn Beach Resort
"I like it there. It's a quiet location with a nice sandy beach and plenty of sunbeds. The staff is helpful, parking is free and plentiful, and there's a good restaurant on-site along with a decent breakfast, a bar and a pool. Clean rooms. The WiFi is a bit slow, and the air conditioning isn't very efficient."
Hotel Casale 900
Villa Vimani
Hotel Ariston
"First of all the location is not good but you know that before you go there. As for the facilities the rooms were big and clean and ours was renovated. The breakfast was not good for Italian cuisine while the restaurant to have a meal there was nothing special. They should pay attention to the restaurant because in that area there are not many options nearby."
Casa del Geco
"Sometimes, "we're in the middle of nothing" to indicate a (s)lost place. The opposite is true: the "nothing" we are in the centre is what is missing for those who arrive at the Geco House, and there is no missing family reception, even quite precarious (thanks Donatella), The care of the garden is not missing, the silence is not missing, and if it is missing it is only the fault of hundreds of birds; in a word, there is no lack of peace (the true, the spirit). And above all, but this is not a secret, it does not miss a surprising breakfast, which combines quantity and quality and space from the fig marmelades to the buffalo yoghurt. Under the large round, whipping a coffee and listening to the family story telling Mary, the unpretentably home-master, I really thought that perhaps, 2500 years ago, the first Greek colonists constructing the temples of Paestum, They were just staying here, at the Geco House."
Kalos Paestum Hotel
"We had a wonderful time at Kalos Paestum. The house is beautiful and inviting, renovated with great taste. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent."
Casale Giancesare Villa Agricola
"Everything at the villa was absolutely wonderful. From the staff, to the property, and the food, we had an absolute dream of a wedding here. We brought our closest friends and family and had the quaintest wedding in the back yard with a breathtaking view. Federica was so communicative and was very helpful during the whole process of planning a wedding there from abroad. She provided us with furniture, spaces, and multiple menus and options and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better team that managed everything on our day beautifully. Federica was also so helpful with any tips or tricks traveling abroad and helping with restaurant reservations to train tickets and taxis. We loved our stay, our wedding was perfect, and we would absolutely visit again. If you’re needing a place for a vacation, wedding, or event you should absolutely choose them!"
