"Upon arriving we found out the advertised pool isn't open, no gym or fitness equipment available either. Checked into our room and it wasn't fully cleaned. No Toilet paper. They gave us an industrial roll of large toilet paper (light tissue paper style) but it was for a dispenser that we couldn't open without a dispenser key. So we had to use a large roll and set it on the tub or floor. Included breakfast was Subway which doesn't open until 8 am. So if you want to get on the road before 8, you will not get the included breakfast."

Bear's Claw Lodge ★★

"This was our second time staying there and it has gone drastically unacceptable since. We arrived at the Lodge and there was no one to check us in. We rung the bell and still no one came. After 10 more minutes we rang the bell again. Finally the chef, came and basically threw the key at us and left. The room was okay although it was the smallest we had ever seen. We decided to watch TV. We tried and tried to turn it all to no avail. Finally we went to the front desk. Once again, no one was there. My husband waited 10 minutes to get the chef/manager attention. He said he would come see in our room. He came fairly fast so no complaint there. He brought a different remote control and attempted to explain it to us. His phone rang and he left. So we still had no idea what to do. We have been to several hotels and had no trouble with televisions. We eventually gave up. The lighting was low and there were no tables at all. We will not be back. We go through Cache Creek 6 times a year so we will have to find other accomadations."
