"We had an executive room on the first floor with city view, sea view would have been towards the ferris wheel and the hotel isn’t tall so in my opinion not worth it. The pool was great. Always a sunbed free. The staff serving drinks and food there were absolutely brilliant. Also had drinks in the bar with great service. The breakfast is very good, the comments about poor service at breakfast are fair. If you go later there’s no fresh juice or even sparkling water and takes some chasing to get staff to get. Don’t let this put you off though. It really is a great breakfast spread and the hotel was absolutely immaculate and the bed was so comfy. I’d definitely stay again."

"We stayed for 5 nights in Budva at Elena's apartment and had a wonderful experience. We had a room with two balconies (we had breakfast on one, and I did my morning exercises on the other terrace). There was a separate kitchen with a sofa and a bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The location is superb; it's just a couple of minutes to the bus station, and then you can easily buy tickets to Kotor for a day trip. There are shops and cafes nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the promenade. We were pleased with the lush greenery, abundant plants, friendly staff, and the low price in April. There was a coffee machine with capsules. The balconies offered a beautiful view of the mountains. Things to keep in mind: it can be noisy on the balcony due to a nearby music school with children shouting, and a busy road not far away. We lacked some kitchen utensils as we cooked every day. There was no lid for the frying pan or dishcloths for the table. The extractor fan wasn't working, and the bathroom light only worked partially. A toaster was advertised but not present. There's no washing machine in the room; laundry costs an additional 5 euros. There was always a small puddle in the bathroom, probably from a leaking bidet. Despite all the downsides, we were satisfied; it felt very cozy and pleasant, like a home away from home."

"We have just got home from an amazing stay at the 5 star Vissi_D_Arte hotel. We booked a 4 night trip to celebrate a friends 50th birthday and we were totally spoilt for the entire time. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and nothing was ever too much. The staff were waiting for us outside the hotel when we arrived, they would stand up when we walked into the room and they would escort us to the swimming pool, local restaurants and the port to ensure we didn't get lost. Each and every member of staff were attentive, friendly and engaging. (We will miss our chats with the very charming Peter at breakfast) The rooms and suites were extremely clean, bright and very tastefully decorated with stunning views over the Adriatic sea. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and we all enjoyed the delicious complementary fruits and treats that were left in our room each evening. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the middle of Budva and just a few minutes stroll into the old town. I would like to particularly thank Jovan, who for weeks before we arrived at the hotel had been recommending restaurants, beach clubs, boats trip and organising all our reservations and transport to perfection. He helped to bypass hotel check in by taking our details a few days before and organised a welcome party for the birthday girl by filling our suite with balloons, flowers, canapes, cake and champagne. He kept in constant contact with us while we were there to ensure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as special as we hoped. I can not recommend the hotel enough and I would like to thank everyone for all their efforts in making our stay an extremely memorable one. Laura x"

"Surviving in this hotel I consider a miracle. Firstly, it reeks of piss in the bathroom and the stench is omnipresent. Secondly, the walls itself are dirty with some black and sometimes yellow stains. Thirdly, the table was dirty as well with some old and long dried up stains from spilled drinks. Fourthly, the walls are so thin you can hear a mouse scratching in the corridor as if it’s sleeping in your bed. And lastly, the food is so deadly as if you are Roman Emperor Claudius being poisoned by Agrippina. Oh and one more thing, someone apparently puked on a couch so it stinks 👍 Btw, they refused to refund or help in any other way."

"Never again!Run-down, old, and tiny rooms with a loud or non-functional air conditioner. Terrible location with absolutely no view. Mold in the rooms. No elevator, even though my room was on the 3rd floor. Zero service. The entire place is dark and has a depressing decor. The pool could not be used. To make matters worse, the staff lied to and insulted us. Check out 10 am."

"The hotel's location is very convenient, but that was its only plus. Firstly, we were given a room that was not the one we ordered (it was not possible to replace it with the one we ordered or another, corresponding one, due to the lack of such); the room itself was in the basement of the hotel, with all the ensuing circumstances; secondly, the room was already extremely depreciated, the walls were scratched, the plumbing did not work well; thirdly, the room was poorly cleaned (there were many dusty places and objects in sight, hair of previous guests), and cleaning was not carried out at all during the stay; towels were changed selectively and not regularly; fourthly, the room's equipment did not correspond to what was stated."

"British couple in thirties visiting for 10 nights, 8th - 18th May 2026, stayed in premium deluxe double room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Luminoso and would highly recommend this hotel for someone seeking a modern, clean and comfortable hotel (opened November 2025) within close proximity to Budva old town who plans on using it as a base to explore the local area or further afield in Montenegro. LOCATION ＞ The hotel is a small boutique hotel situated an easy 15/20 minute walk from Budva old town. The walk is pleasant along the sea front and felt safe even late at night. The majority of the restaurants/bars are in the Old town but there are some dotted along the way which we ate at too. ＞ The hotel is however situated on a very busy and noisy main road with 24/7 traffic. This is the only negative of the hotel but not their fault. Luckily the hotel is well sound proofed so isn’t too noisy at night time (with windows closed), however it’s not worth paying for a balcony as it’s too noisy to sit on it (some are small and don’t have chairs too) and has the view of the main road. ＞ There is a lot of construction work ongoing at the moment which adds to the noise/disruption and the 15km main road connecting the coastal towns is currently under major construction making driving pretty dreadful and slow but is due to be completed in June apparently. FACILITIES ＞ The hotel has good facilities. The rooms are modern and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. ＞ The roof top pool is lovely, it has a great view out to the sea and you can’t hear the road very much up there. It is all new and good quality sun loungers/seating etc with pool towels provided and was very quiet when we stayed. I imagine it getting busy during the summer though. A nice touch would be a bar up there or the option to be able to order drinks, however the up shot was we took our own drinks/snacks purchased at the local shop (next door) instead. ＞ It’s worth nothing that the hotel offers a free car park however it’s not at the hotel, it’s a 5 minute walk crossing the busy road and is down by the sea front. Not a huge issue for us but a bit inconvenient walking back and forth especially with luggage. It was secure though. ＞ The gym is very small and basic. ＞ There was a spa, with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which we didn’t use, charged at 30 EUR per person/hour. SERVICE ＞ We received great service but particularly outstanding service from Marko who was exceptionally polite, friendly and very helpful. His attention to detail remembering breakfast drink orders, always being quick to serve you as soon as seated and offered great advice on the menu and gave us so many helpful recommendations of where to visit, even making us a restaurant reservation when visiting Portonovi. ＞ Staff were attentive at dealing with a couple of issues we encountered including the air con which was fixed quickly. ＞ Service dropped slightly during the week as the hotel became busier but sti"

"My impressions of the hotel are mixed. On the one hand, it's new, located near the sea, and has an indoor and outdoor pool, several saunas, and a spa complex. Access to the pools and saunas is free for hotel guests. The food in the restaurant was excellent (we booked half board). On the downside: the room cleaning leaves much to be desired (they don't sweep the floors, and sometimes don't empty the trash bins). During our 8-day stay, the linens weren't changed even once. When we checked in, the refrigerator and safe weren't working; however, they replaced the refrigerator and fixed the safe after we contacted them. The hotel was completely full, with only one open, and it was constantly occupied. During dinner, the restaurant was so crowded that it was difficult (sometimes practically impossible) to find a free table. The dinner hours, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, are too short for the number of people visiting the restaurant."
