"Absolutely disgusting experience at Loana Resort in Sunshine Coast. The staff refused to accept my ID because it was a copy of my digital license, and then had the audacity to claim my partner’s hard copy license wasn’t him—despite the fact that he has leukemia, which has affected his appearance. Their complete lack of empathy and rigid, nonsensical policies made what should have been a relaxing stay an absolute nightmare. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated with zero respect or basic human decency."

"I didn’t have a great experience at the property as the air conditioning for my unit was operated from other unit I wanted the cooling mode but unite next to me did heating now and I can’t change from my room any controls for air conditioning we didn’t sleep the whole time and our day was ruined. It’s a big issue if you can control your room conditioning"

"A pleasant surprise. Tidy and spacious apartment about 100m from the beach. Gym, sauna and pool. Very friendly staff. The beach is superb with huge, gentle waves and warm water. Life savers right there. An RSL-run club is just off the beach and residents get 10% off. About 200m in the opposite direction is an absolutely enormous shopping complex. Mooloolaba is about 10 minutes drive away. This is the perfect situation. Each room has a fan and the main living area has aircon. Highly recommended."

"Great hotel, and comfortable beds and nice and clean on arrival. Check-in time was after hours and was very easy to manage booking without reception open. Also the swedish manager that dealt with me on arrival was super helpful and very welcoming. Would recommend staying again if returning to area."
