"It was a 20min walk from the train station. We stayed in the hotel for the Balloon Fiesta. The bus stop for the shuttle to the fiesta was just opposite the hotel. There's a lot of restaurants near the hotel which is really convenient. The hotel staff accomodated our request and helped to look for a twin room for us. Our room had a nice city view and we managed to see the morning ascent from our hotel room."

"Avoid at all costs ,it’s not worth it, even if you don’t have many options. I can guarantee that anything else would be better than this. We booked this room through Trip.com, and upon arrival, we were told we had to pay £5 for parking ,despite there being a sign stating that parking is free for guests, but not for those who book through a third party company… The rooms were filthy and in terrible condition. They are in need of refurbishment. We asked to change rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. One of the windows wouldn’t close, so we had to sleep with it open. That might have been bearable, except the hotel is right next to the M5, and the noise made it extremely difficult to sleep. The bathroom was dirty,the floor hadn’t been hoovered or mopped, and the shower floor was disgusting (thankfully, I had flip-flops). The toilet hadn’t even been flushed. The carpet was stained and unvacuumed. The walls were falling apart. I even found a dirty sock and used tissue in the room. The receptionist did offer to clean the toilet, but that doesn’t make up for the overall state of the place. The hotel listing shows a picture of a swimming pool, but there isn’t one. They also claim to have a gym ,where is it? All I saw was a tiny room with three cardio machines. I only stayed because I couldn’t find anywhere else at the last minute, and they refused to offer a refund or even a partial refund. They told Trip.com customer service that they were offering us free breakfast as compensation ,but they only called us at 9am to let us know, and breakfast ends at 10. I was asleep until 9:30 because I’d been kept up most of the night by the noise. Honestly, this was a total waste of money and a really bad experience."

"The fruits on the table look old and the room was very cold, I went to reception to asked about the room being cold and the receptionist said he was going to turn the heating up but the room was still cold. I went out and came back and the room was still cold. I found some hair on the bed, there was dust on the table."

"I highly highly recommended this hotel we tried this one for the first time instead of where we'd usually stay due to difference in price but wow we were shocked, hotel staff especially the guy who checked us in was so nice and professional and friendly, the room is very spacious and comfortable bed, Aircon is amazing especially with this heat, up on 9th floor, there's shops within walking distance also if need of snacks or drink late at night. We would stay here every time we come Bristol now love this place nothing to say that was bad as there was not anything bad! 5 stars perfection Thank you so much!"

"We stayed for two nights recently. Everything about the hotel was right but we particularly liked the room. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor was modern but not too minimalist. All fittings were in good condition and the heating and air-conditioning worked. We did not eat at the hotel as there are nice cafes etc very close by and a proper pub just up to road. The hotel is not in the very centre of Bristol but it's close to everything. Ideal for us. A subsidised car park is only a five minute walk away. All staff were friendly and helpful too. We will stay again."

"Arrived about 10pm due to a delayed flight. The young man on reception was courteous and polite. After hearing my tale of woe about my day, he immediately upgraded my room, something which I thoroughly appreciated. My stay was relatively short, but in the ten hours I spent there, all staff were polite, efficient and approachable. I'm a fairly hardy solo traveller, so speaking for myself, the location was fine, a five minutes walk from Bristol Bus Station. All in all, a pleasant stay, no complaints."
