"Hotel location is good, just near Bright in Mount Beauty, , convenient for travel, there is a washing dryer and kitchen, plus an outdoor BBQ stove. Because it is a country hotel, the room inevitably has a little smell and mosquitoes."

"Restaurant: Very disapointing. The menu choice was only parmas or burgers, nothing else. We chose the Chicken Parma. It was not cheap at $28 but only came with chips, and no salad. Salad costs an extra $5. The menu stated that there was an 8% surcharge on weekends. We asked for water and was directed to a self-service tap. I had to fill my own bottle. What are you paying for if there is no service? We waited and waited for the meal. Too long. When the meal was ready, the chef rang the bell, but the waiter was in another room and didn't hear it. Credit to the Chef, who brought the meal to the table himself while it was warm My wife picked up her cutlery only to find that the knife had not been washed and had food on it from the previous customer. The Parma was not appetizing, the toppings slightly burnt and the chips were by far, overcooked. We couldn't finish it. I do actually like the hotel and believe that it should be delivering fair service like it used to. Common guys... fix it."

"Just what the doctor ordered! What a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place. Great spot to tune out from the real world. Waking up to the most incredible view, being greeted by the local magpies, parrots and kookaburras was amazing. One or two were happy to come inside when the door was open. Kylie and James were quick to answer any questions and provided us with a great itinerary for the few days we were there. So close to town but you wouldn’t know it, it was just so peaceful. "Excellent attention to detail in the room with stunning interiors that complement the nature of the environment. Artwork and furniture are beautifully selected. Peaceful and quiet with a spacious bathroom that makes you feel like you're in a natural springs resort. The TV moves from the lounge room with one neat swivel to the bedroom. Comfortable bed with high end linen. Luxury with a lovely kitchenette that provides everything you would require to cook most meals. The gardens are stunning, and the pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Excellent location set away from the busy shopping precinct. The hosts are exceptional, welcoming and eager to provide you with information about the local surrounds. An exceptional experience of relaxation for couples."

"Fantastic stay with friends for a special birthday. We booked 2 of the new luxury villas & a glamping pod. The accommodation did not disappoint. The decks on the villas was fantastic, plenty of room for a group of 10. Beautiful views of the river, the decks are set high enough up that the campers in front do not bother. Park is kept in overall immaculate condition. If you are visiting in the warmer months pack a portable fan for the bunk bed room as there isn't one and its very stuffy! Great location walk everywhere, no need to move the car! We would most definitely return!"

"We have just returned from our stay at Goldfield Units in Bright. We come back every November and always welcomed by the beautiful and friendly Sam and Marco. Our unit has recently been renovated, beautiful roomy kitchen/lounge, bedroom and spacious ensuite. Immaculate, spotlessly clean, and all the essentials we needed in the kitchen. The units back on to the Ovens River where you can relax read a book or sit enjoying a drink while admiring their magnificent and manicured gardens. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the shops or a stroll along the Ovens River to the Canyon Walk. Sam and Marco are wonderful hosts and always on hand to help if needed. We loved our stay and highly recommend the units. Thanks Sam and Marco."
