Hotels with Breakfast in Kootenai County

Absolutely felt at home, not like in a hotel. As we were trying to check in, we had a lovely welcome the staffing management going away free homemade cookies, which was a blessing in disguise as we were super hungry going in. The staff at the buffet was very kind , courteous and always helpful. All the staff is very kind, had a lovely smile on and we’re always ready to help. I did not feel like we were staying at a hotel. Thank you!!!

The rooms are spacious and clean and well equipped. The bathroom is bright and tidy. Restaurants and bars are also within the hotel, so you can use them comfortably in the evening. The staff are friendly overall.

Everything was good except it seems they did not have enough food for breakfast as breakfast was still open but no hot food remained

The room was quite big and the bed was a bit hard. The place to eat breakfast is a bit small and the breakfast is simple.

Amazing breakfast! Rooms were very nice especially the ones with the kitchenettes in them. Would definitely go back

House keeping was amazing, helpful & went out of the way. Rooms are out dated & dirty, even with good housekeeping can only polish it up so much

booked a room with 2 queen sized beds for 3 days. called 3 days before hand and spoke to Diedra (?) and told her that because of mobility issues I would like a room towards the west end of the property. She was very accommodating and said has she would be the one to do the room assignments she would make a note to make sure it was handled. When we arrived, the night auditor, Robert, acted somewhat put out and acted like he was doing us a favor by ”finding” us a room in the requested area...when we entered the room it had 1 king sized bed and we were too tired from the drive to go back and request a change. The tub/shower was impossible for me to use because it was too high and there we no handles to use. Again, mobility issues was mentioned and obviously ignored. The used dental flossers in the cubby under the nightstand was nice as well as the garbage pickup right outside our room at 6:45 am Friday morning.

The affordable price reflects the hotel’s desperate need for renovations. The first room we were given smelled strongly of stale cigarettes even though it’s marked as a non-smoking room. The second room smelled ok but the window was broken, the bathroom toilet & shower were chipped and stained, and the bed wasn’t super comfortable (just felt like an old mattress). The hallway carpets don’t look like they’re ever vacuumed. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but it appeared to offer waffles, juice, and some assorted muffins & fruit. The staff was nice.
