"Das Haus ist schön und hat einen kleinen Garten; alles sehr sauber und im Zimmer ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, allerdings sollte man etwa Spanisch sprechen. Zum Frühstück gab es neben den üblichen speisen auch hausgemachte Kuchen. Ein Wermutstropfen war bei uns eine große Baustelle am Weg ins Zentrum. Wir haben 4 Nächte dort verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

Basic hostel that's almost like a Airbnb. You feel like you’re living in a big house with many rooms and no housekeeping regardless of number of night stays. Wifi connection is pretty good and there's Netflix too (there's not much to do in Huaraz besides the outdoorsy stuff). Breakfast is basic too if you're not fussy. Part of the charm of staying in this town is the frequent rooster crowing and dog barks. There's also a friendly dog in the hostel.

Located in the center of Huaraz and accessible to all kinds of facilities. The roof has a good view of Huascaran. The front desk is friendly and helped me book my bus ticket to Chimbote. The room is clean and I would recommend.
