The hotel was completely renovated in 2023 with contemporary decoration. The Best Western Metz Centre Gare is located 100 meters from Metz train station in the city center, Centre Pompidou, and the congress center Robert Schumann. The location is just perfect!
This three-star hotel will offer you comfort, convenience, and tranquility.
The hotel has three room categories from a standard room to a deluxe. The difference between those rooms will be the size of the bedding and the size of the room. All our rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a coffee machine, and a television with Canal +.
The breakfast will be served under an American buffet with local products.
We offer a snacking selection with the offer BOCO and you may enjoy a local drink at the bar.
At the Best Western Metz Centre Gare, the front desk is open 24 hours. The team will be happy to assist you with your request.
"The location is in front of the station, so it's very convenient for getting to and from the station. You can walk to most destinations in the city in about 20 minutes, and there are delicious cafes nearby. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away, but it's not that far, so it's convenient to stay in front of the station. The staff were all friendly, and I recommend it if you're coming to Metz.
However, the bathroom was a bit of a problem. There was no curtain in the shower room, and there were almost no steps, so the shower water would flow into the bathroom no matter what you did. I managed to get by with a bath mat, but it was difficult to use, so if there is a room that doesn't have that, I would choose that and stay there again next time."

Honestly, even a great welcome can't redeem this hotel.
Did I get the smallest room? Room 505, to be precise.
While the hotel is clean and close to the train station, and the breakfast is decent enough, it doesn't justify the high price for one person. The room's very, too-white lighting makes it unnerving; you get out of bed and find yourself staring at the door. The bathroom is extremely basic, with only one towel, and a small one at that. To top it all off, it's cold. I'm quite disappointed with this hotel.

I like this small hotel in Europe, located in the most core place, small door, small stairs, small room, but everywhere is history, is warm, is style, this is Europe ⋯• So travel in Europe usually book two hotels, One is the castle manor hotel far from the town, the other is a small hotel in the center of the town, but there is also pain, that is, there is an elevator in the wood, you need to climb the old narrow stairs with your own suitcase, but is this not something you need to feel during the trip...

Guest UserThe hotel is located near the train station, about a 5-10 minute walk away. The rooms are spacious, but the cleanliness is average; only paper cups are provided. There is an electric kettle, but its cleanliness is questionable; there was water in the kettle when I checked in, suggesting it wasn't cleaned properly. The room cleanliness was also poor. Toothbrushes are provided for an extra charge. Check-in is only available from 4:30 PM. Overall, a poor experience; I will not stay here again. There are large supermarkets and department stores nearby.

It's my second stay in this hotel when I was on business trip in this area. It is not located in the city center, but for business very practical. They have a big free parking lot in front of the hotel. The restaurant is really good with a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the hotel rooms are spacious and clean. It is also very quiet. I would stay there again if I am around the area.

The location is very good. It is just about 300 metres from the train station. From my apartment (217), I had a view of moving trains as the property is located close to the rail lines. It is just in the centre of Metz City, close to supermarkets such as Carrefour, Match and the rest.
The facilities worked very well throughout my stay with the exception of the heater in my room. I improvised with the heater in the rest room. The interior is very neat though the exterior can be better.
The staff mind their business but assisted when approached. I asked for an extension of 2 hours beyond the checkout time to relax before the scheduled time of my train to Paris and it was approved without stress.

Very happy with my stay. The room was nice, spacious witha balcony. Hotel is located in the middle of a forest park. Also there is a nice gastro restaurant just next to it. The hotel has a peaceful and calming vibe. The breakfast was good as well. After checking out, I could work in their lobby where thereare several sofas and free coffee, croissants and tea. They also have a nice terrasse outside. This area has a lot of activities especially if you are looking for a getaway or little holidays. I was there for a business trip. Would definitely come back for a little getaway.

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine.
If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful.
The location of the hotel is not far from city center, located in a very quite place for living habitats I think. I give 4.5 / 5 points.

This hotel has a great location, at the center of the city where there is a lot of restaurants. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is friendly the rooms are quite spacious. I was there for a business travel, but I think it's a convenient place for holiday travellers who want to visit the city. Also you are very close to Luxembourg, just about 20min ride away by car.
