Mooring at Xin'an – the name itself evokes the spirit of Xin'an. We arrived at the guesthouse in the late afternoon. The owner, Mr. Wu, was a very kind and gentle man. He introduced the guesthouse to us in a warm and welcoming manner, offering advice on how to best explore the area. He even upgraded our room for free to the ”Junwen Guiqi” room, which overlooks the Xin'an River. The room was newly renovated, tasteful, and poetic; the colorful paintings on the walls perfectly matched the guesthouse's name. The misty Xin'an River, with its lone boat moored peacefully, created a profound and tranquil atmosphere. The bedding and bathroom facilities were excellent. The guesthouse is not far from the Xin'an River Landscape Gallery Visitor Center and the old street, allowing for a morning stroll along the riverbank to admire the misty scenery. We arrived late, and in the evening, we went to the rooftop terrace for tea. Suddenly, it started raining. Gazing at the empty mountains and watching the rain on the river, the scene was soothing that I couldn't help but write a short essay and post it on WeChat Moments – a review of this guesthouse. Mooring at Xin'an – I will definitely come back! ”You ask when I will return, but there is no set date; the autumn rain in Bashan swells the ponds.” This is Huizhou, where there is no longing for the north in the night rain. The heavy rain predicted for two days began this evening after a period of scorching heat. ”Thunder roars over a thousand peaks, rain falls on ten thousand mountains.” The rain curtain obscures my vision, lightning flashes and thunder roars, a sudden downpour and a drop in temperature. Sipping a cup of tea, listening to the patter of the rain, the surroundings are warm and quiet, and my heart is at peace. Just like the name of this guesthouse, ”Night Mooring at Xin'an,” at this moment, I stop for you, no longer a traveler. Tonight, I will fall asleep to the sound of rain amidst the poetic landscape of the Xin'an River.

The weather was very cold when we arrived, and we were warmly welcomed with freshly baked hot sweet potatoes, which instantly made us feel at home. When check in the hotel kindly upgraded us to a river view room free of charge — a lovely and unexpected surprise. This hotel had the most comfortable bed of our entire 10-day journey; we slept incredibly well. We also really appreciated that all the towels were properly sanitized, which made us feel safe and well cared for. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the service and hospitality, and would highly recommend this hotel.

The Xinjiang long-staple cotton towels, slippers, and peach wood combs provided are all available for guests to take with them when leaving, so disposable slippers and towels are no longer provided separately. The single rooms are spacious, but there's no refrigerator. The hotel's design emphasizes a blend of simplicity and Huizhou architectural style. The hotel lobby is a converted old church, very grand, and the afternoon tea is quite good! Overall, I'm satisfied with this garden-style hotel and hope it continues to improve!

As I often travel for business, I am picky about where I stay. I have stayed in many hotels before, but I have never found one that satisfied me. Until I discovered this Jingyesi Inn. First of all, the location of this inn is very good. It is located on the food and accommodation street in the ancient city of Huizhou. It has convenient transportation and is very convenient to go anywhere. Secondly, I am very satisfied with the service of the inn. The staff at the inn are very enthusiastic and always respond to my needs in a timely manner. Moreover, they also provided me with a lot of useful suggestions and help, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease in the inn. Most importantly, the hotel is very clean. I am a bit of a germaphobe, so I have high requirements for hygienic conditions. However, this inn fully met my requirements. The room was cleaned every day, and the bed sheets and quilt covers were changed after each guest, which made my stay very comfortable. In addition, the facilities of the inn are also very complete. The room not only has basic facilities such as air conditioning, TV, and hot water kettle, but also free WIFI and disposable toiletries. Overall, Jingyesi Inn is a very good inn. I highly recommend it to friends who often travel for business or vacation. Whether it's location, service, sanitation or facilities, this inn is impeccable and is definitely the best choice for your trip!

The guesthouse is truly nestled in the mountains, offering absolutely stunning views. The owner keeps the place incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dining is on the rooftop, and it was pleasantly cool that evening. The food was delicious too. There are many picturesque spots, perfect for photos, even if my photography skills aren't the best! I absolutely loved the surrounding environment. I'd suggest exploring it on foot for photos, as the roads can be quite narrow for cars to pass. My only minor personal quibble was that the bed felt a little awkwardly positioned directly facing the toilet. I did observe that other rooms seemed to have a more spacious layout and better airflow.

We brought the kids to play in the water during summer vacation. After spending two days in Jixi, we came to this guesthouse. The road up the mountain is a bit winding, and there aren't many entertainment options nearby, but it's a great choice for water activities. The owner took us to a water park about a 15-minute drive away. It was quiet and not crowded, giving us a private experience – so much fun! The owners, a husband and wife, were very nice, and their two kids weren't shy at all. We went on a weekday, and we were the only guests, so they upgraded us to a room with a view for free. The room was well-equipped, clean, and quite spacious. We'll definitely come back next year!

Good location. Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel manager and the receptionist are very kind, they helped us a lot during our trip. The breakfast is simple but very good. Nearby is Huizhou Ancient and lots of great local restaurants. The hotel has a laundry room which you can do it yourself. The room is spacious and clean

I feel a bit expensive for the food, especially a dried bean roast meat, 48 yuan, there is a small piece of meat inside, or fat, this really makes me very unhappy! It's all dried beans... But for the free sea of flowers, just like this 😭 breakfast and noodles are OK.

This hotel is 10 minute walk across the river to the ancient city wall and the shops. It’s clean and the rooms are a good size. The receptionist took ages to process my foreigner passport which was a tad annoying but eventually it was done. The breakfast was 22rmb and had lots to offer from toast to boiled eggs, Chinese dishes such as dumplings and noodles, plus fruit. O
