This time, I wanted to find a quiet place to spend a couple of days by myself, so I came to Yunnan, a place I've always loved. However, instead of the more bustling Dali and Lijiang, I chose Heqing, a place with a slower pace and more suitable for a peaceful two-day stay. Before coming, I didn't have high expectations for the local accommodations, but Danmotang was a pleasant surprise—a new gem of a guesthouse in Heqing. Located in the city center, it's convenient for getting around, yet very quiet overall. The library is right next door, which is a huge plus, making it perfect for a two-day solo stay—reading, relaxing, or just wandering around. The guesthouse itself has a comfortable courtyard and rooms. It's not an artificially trendy place, but rather a natural and elegant Chinese aesthetic. The environment is quiet, and the facilities are quite complete, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cleanliness is excellent; the rooms are spotless, giving me peace of mind. The service is also very considerate, not overly intrusive, but attentive when needed, making for a very comfortable overall experience. I also visited Black Dragon Pool and White Dragon Pool this time, and I loved them both. Heqing isn't the kind of place to rush around taking pictures, but it's perfect for those who appreciate tranquility and the Yunnan lifestyle. Those who want to avoid the crowds and truly experience two days there will likely love it.

Parking is very convenient. We drove a tram and there are charging stations available. Check-in was fast. The room was large and comfortable without feeling oppressive. It was spacious and bright. The service was responsive and enthusiastic. The experience was very good. I will still choose this hotel when I come to Heqing next time! Great value for money, highly recommended! ! !

It's quite clean, the scenery is beautiful, the boss took the time to take us to visit Dongcaohai during his busy schedule, it is worth going very beautiful. There were not many people when we went. I will go to this store next time. The boss is very enthusiastic

The hotel is fully equipped, clean and the front desk service is very good. There is a parking lot behind the hotel and there are more parking spaces. The room is spacious and bright. The only downside is that breakfast is relatively simple and rice noodles are average. It is recommended to place an order without breakfast.

The lady who was running the place (we think!) was quite confused about our documents and also thought we were checking out a day before we did. The location was good, quiet and peaceful with nice walks around. The rooms were a bit damp smelling. There is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom and no air con, or at least none we were made aware of - it looks beautiful inside but the damp smell was a bit yucky.

The service is not intimate and shows the details, the room is well lit, the curtains are also very good, I have lived several times, recommended

The B&B is quite unique, well decorated, clean overall, the room is quite large, the toilet is smart, like the hotel I stayed in Japan. The owner is quite enthusiastic, and when we set out the next day, he reminded us that the people sitting in the back seat should wear seat belts, and there will be traffic police checking when we leave Lijiang. Sure enough, after walking 3 kilometers, there was a traffic police on the left side checking the back seat for seat belts. Overall, it can be rated five stars, and I will stay here again if I have the chance.
