KKeyizouleThis is a treasure homestay in Chengjiang! When you open the window, you can see the quiet lotus pond and Fuxian Lake not far away. The morning mist is shrouded, and the sunset glows red in the evening. Every frame is like a painting! The room is warm and exquisite, with simple style furniture and soft bedding. There is also a viewing balcony and a rooftop terrace. It is so comfortable to sit on a chair and drink tea while enjoying the scenery. The boss is warm and hospitable. He not only recommends restaurants and farmers' markets frequented by locals, but also helps recommend delicious supper. The rice noodles and blueberries for breakfast are full of characteristics and cost-effective.

AAnonymous UserWhenever I travel, accommodation is my top priority (I'm a stickler for details and a bit of a clean freak). Griyuan was my choice after comparing many hotels and B&Bs, and I definitely left satisfied – the experience was top-notch. The owner puts a lot of effort into running the place; it's by appointment only, which offers great privacy. It's quiet and very comfortable, with tons of thoughtful details in the room that are truly worth experiencing for yourself. Fuxian Lake and Griyuan were both treasures on this trip.

MMountain/\AshThe entry is so calming. A nice open space with plants all around. The Chinese couple owning the Hotel were very sweet even though we couldn’t converse with them (they didn’t speak English and we can’t speak Chinese). They let us store our two bicycles in the house. The room is large and the bathroom is massive. There’s a bit of road noise with the windows open (on the second level). There’s no lift. They owner walked us to a neighbouring restaurant which was very nice. In the morning they both saw us off on our ride.

SSancyFuxian Lake is worth it. The transportation is convenient. It only takes one hour to drive from Kunming Changchangshui Airport. We arrived at Xiaowan Village at around 10 o'clock in the evening.
You must stay in Xiaowan Village when you come to Fuxian Lake to better experience the slow lifestyle. It is very beautiful and photogenic, and almost all of them are designed in the style of ins.
The local couple, an honest shopkeeper, helped us upgrade the room for free. It was a surprise. The room was very large and had a sense of design. The lighting was diffuse reflection without a main light. When I woke up in the morning, I saw the sea view.
The B&B is located above the bend in Xiaowan Village. The location is very good and the price-performance ratio is very good compared to the surrounding shops. I will come to Fuxian Lake again next time and stay in this shop again.

GGuest UserThis is the most satisfying B&B I have stayed in in recent years. It is definitely not a scam. The location, view, environment, service and facilities are almost perfect. They also provide welcome afternoon tea. If I have to find a shortcoming, it is that the water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold when taking a shower. I hope it can be improved. I will recommend it to my friends and hope to come again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

GGuest UserAfter visiting their home with the best view of the room, decisively increased the price and upgraded (the original store manager has enthusiastically upgraded the first level) to the room with the best view. I lay in bed and watched the scenery for a day and didn't want to go out.
A group of architectural designers shareholders' homestays are very elegant in architectural design. Many places can see the design ingenuity one step at a time. The design style is quiet, simple, luxurious, natural and artistic. The lighting system without the main lamp in the whole house has a high-end atmosphere.
Breakfast is a favorite way to set food, although there is no self-service free and rich, but it is very fresh and hygienic, and the taste of rice noodles is not bad.
There is a small bug, the position of the shower handheld nozzle is very low, if you want to take a shower with a handheld nozzle, you really need to handheld, hahahaha, not very friendly to friends who don't like the top spray.

AAnonymous UserThe transportation is relatively convenient. It is just a short walk across from Moon Bay and not far from the Fossil Museum. The lady at the front desk is also very welcoming. The room is neat and clean. There is a large window that can see the whole view of Fuxian Lake. It is very beautiful. The bed is also very soft and comfortable. The lighting in the room is very soft. We also rent a car downstairs. It is also convenient for visiting the surrounding scenic spots. .

GGuest UserVery suitable hotel for leisure vacation, the front desk lady has a good service attitude, I can't find the parking lot, she patiently guided me to park, the lake view of the room is simply amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows are very beautiful and you can see the whole Fuxian Lake (recommend the 180-degree full lake view room), there are many restaurants downstairs, it is very convenient to eat, the Moon Bay scenic area opposite has a Sanya feel, after checking in, ask the hotel for a park card and you can enter the park for free, there is a white sand beach in the park where you can take your children to play in the sand, and take pictures. It is recommended to travel off-peak, the cost performance is really high, this time I stayed in the most cost-effective hotel in Fuxian Lake.
