This hotel is conveniently located and boasts several key advantages. First off, it's an established hotel with a prime location right by the Haizhu Square subway station. As an older establishment, the building quality is excellent, with great soundproofing and spacious rooms – something newer hotels often can't match. What's even better is that it seems to have been recently renovated, as many of the in-room amenities offer new features. The service is also fantastic; they're very responsive and accommodating. Our room directly overlooked the Pearl River, providing great views of the Canton Tower and passing cruise ships, and it was also very spacious. The biggest perk is having 'Dao Xiang' (Tao Heung) on the second floor, where many locals eat – we had three meals there in two days! Right outside the hotel, there are frequent coaches to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, and Zhuhai, as well as double-decker Guangzhou tour buses. The cruise terminal is just a five-minute walk away. All in all, it's an almost perfect hotel with a multitude of advantages. Highly recommended!

This is our second stay at White Swan Hotel, and the experience was even better than the first. This time, I came with my partner and we chose a Deluxe River View room. Room 2105 had an amazing location with a fantastic, expansive view. The room layout was very well-designed; everything felt comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping was prompt, and we had turndown service every evening, so the room was spotless whenever we returned. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent. Although we couldn't get a reservation for the signature morning tea this time, we did manage to book dinner at Yu Tang Chun Nuan, and the food quality was truly outstanding. Even with a long wait, it was absolutely worth it. Right out the hotel's back door is Shamian Park, and across from Shamian is the Link Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I especially love the cocktail buns from Cui Hua Restaurant – they taste just like the bread from my childhood, great value for money. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to visit attractions like Yongqing Fang, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Cultural Park; we walked to all of them. White Swan was Guangzhou's first five-star hotel, opening in 1983. Decades later, the hotel is still meticulously maintained, with every detail reflecting the high standards expected of an established five-star property. It truly lives up to its reputation as a symbol of Guangzhou. I believe that on my next visit to Guangzhou, I will still choose the White Swan Hotel, because a classic endures through generations.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transport links, and the Friendship Store next door is also great for a browse. What really left the biggest impression, though, was the hotel's service. From the moment we were welcomed, to check-in, and even the room cleaning, everything demonstrated the high standards of a star-rated hotel. My sister even received birthday wishes on her birthday, and she insisted on taking the card back to Shanghai to keep. I hope we get the chance to visit Guangzhou again sometime.

Honest review: The room was quite clean, smoke-free, and odorless, right across from Guangdong TV Station. High floor with a wide view. It's listed as a 5-star hotel, but I'd say it's an older 5-star. There were many foreign guests from various continents and countries. My room's electronic control system had some issues; it wasn't very responsive. While taking the elevator, I also overheard others saying they had no hot water at 1 AM?! Not sure if that's true. The front desk service was excellent. They allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, which was perfect because my flight was delayed. I ended up checking out almost an hour later, and the hotel staff showed no dissatisfaction, which is why I'm giving it a full 5 stars.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! The hotel manager, Alice, was super friendly, and the surroundings are lovely. The location is excellent, especially if you like taking photos, as there are many beautiful British-style buildings nearby that make for great shots. 

However, if you have large luggage, I wouldn't recommend taking the metro. Even though it's close to Huangsha Station (about 500 meters), I'd advise taking a taxi directly to the hotel. At Huangsha Station, you'll have to carry your luggage up stairs, and crossing the road to the hotel also involves carrying bags up stairs and over a pedestrian bridge.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bath and face towels were thick. Hot water was readily available, and a late check-out until 2 PM was a great perk.

Breakfast offered the basic varieties; it wasn't lavish, but for this price point, especially being so close to the train station, it was quite good.

They have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Here are a few minor downsides: The room size was a bit small, especially the vanity area – if you're a bit on the heavier side, you might find it hard to stand there comfortably. Free parking is only until 2:30 PM (during your stay); after that, it's 12 per hour. It would have been nice if it extended to the day of check-out, though I understand that might be an unreasonable request, haha. The small bedside lamp couldn't be turned off, which slightly affected my sleep.

The hotel has dim sum on the second floor. It was incredibly busy during Chinese New Year, with long queues, so we ended up eating at the buffet restaurant on the first floor instead. The service was still excellent. All the dim sum is freshly made, and you can start ordering from the à la carte menu after 11 AM, which means you can combine breakfast and lunch. If I come back again, I'd like to experience the more authentic dim sum on the second floor. A slight upgrade to the hotel's accommodation facilities would definitely make it more appealing.

I stayed at the Yingbin Hotel for five days, and I have to especially commend their service. One evening, I had dinner at the hotel using a group-buy voucher. The food was delicious and the portions were quite generous, so I had some leftovers packed up to take back to my room. Later that night, I felt hungry and called room service to ask if there was a microwave to heat up the food. A male staff member immediately came to my room to take it for heating, and he even ran to another building to do so – I’m truly grateful for that! Because I was out sightseeing every day, on the morning of my second day, I spoke to a housekeeping staff member about my requests, and she responded right away. Every day when I returned from my outings, seeing my room tidied and cleaned exactly to my specifications made half my fatigue disappear. Thank you! The hotel's environment and service left a wonderful impression. If I visit Guangzhou again, I will definitely choose Yingbin Hotel.

After a three-day trip in Zhuhai, I still chose Guangdong Hotel when returning to Guangzhou. In my opinion, this hotel is excellent in three aspects: great location, impeccable hygiene, and top-notch service. Especially after comparing it with hotels in Zhuhai, I have to give this place extra praise. The hotel is close to many of Guangzhou's attractions, and there are tons of great food options nearby. I tried Lianhualou and Huixingyuan, and a small shop nearby served an amazing ginger milk pudding. The surrounding area has a lively, authentic local vibe, and you can really feel Guangzhou's festive Chinese New Year atmosphere reflected in the flower displays all over the streets. It truly lives up to its name as the 'City of Flowers,' and this hotel perfectly complements the beauty of Guangzhou.

Our stay this time was fantastic! The room was impeccably clean; the floors were spotless, with no hidden dirt, and the surfaces were dust-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the pillow height was just right, allowing for instant relaxation. The hot water came out quickly and maintained a stable temperature, making showers really enjoyable. Overall, it was quiet and peaceful, making for a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is great, with a fantastic location and excellent facilities. I called ahead and requested a room on the 8th floor because I'd seen reviews mentioning poor views from the 5th floor. The 8th floor was indeed much better, with a perfect view of Meijiang. The hotel breakfast was also good; you could even have preserved noodles. However, the front desk staff's attitude was quite poor. When I went to check in, two people were talking about something, and they continued their conversation even after seeing me. After they finished, they didn't even say hello or anything; they just asked if I was checking in. The next day at checkout, no one said hello either; they just told me to hand over the room card. For a supposedly good hotel in the area, the service really falls short.

The hotel is located in Songkou Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The location is excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and even more picturesque on rainy days. 😍😍
The hotel is a renovated historic building, and some of the design elements (such as the windows) retain their nostalgic character. 🏠🏠 The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, sharing detailed information about nearby attractions. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was pouring rain when we checked out, but the front desk staff not only reminded us to drive to the hotel's location, but also held an umbrella for us and helped us load our luggage into the car. Very thoughtful. 🥰🥰🥰

The room was very spacious with a great ambiance and good soundproofing, so we weren't disturbed during our rest. The service was also very attentive, and we even received small gifts like a fridge magnet and a keychain upon check-in – really thoughtful! 

**Facilities:** Besides being well-equipped, the underground parking garage has charging stations, there are USB ports on both sides of the bed, and the shower room, with its wet-dry separation, even has hooks for hanging clothes. So many thoughtful details! Definitely worth commending and recommending!

**Hygiene:** The entire room was very neat and clean.

**Service:** Extremely thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, everything was attentive. They even specially changed our room because of road construction outside.

Environment: A stylish and trendy hotel, perfect for Instagram photos. 🏨

Hygiene: Spotlessly clean.

Facilities: The smart home features were a bit finicky. At night, the toilet would often auto-flush and open its lid even when no one was around. The lights also had a sound sensor, turning on with any noise when I was trying to sleep. Furthermore, the shampoo and shower gel bottles were constantly knocked off by the shower hose and were difficult to dispense. These are areas that definitely need improvement.

Facilities (positive aspects): On the positive side, the bathtub was excellent, complete with disposable bath liners and bath salts. Disposable toilet seat covers and other small amenities showed great attention to detail.

Environment (positive aspects): It was also lovely to enjoy a drink and moonlight on the rooftop in the evening. Both the room and balcony were very spacious, as was the bathroom. The toilet was pristine, with no odd stains, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards.

Environment (location): The hotel's location within a pedestrian street was perfect for shopping and sightseeing. However, parking outside the hotel proved to be a major inconvenience.

Service (overall impression): I specifically chose this hotel because of the White Swan brand, and overall, I had a very positive experience. 👍
