Highly recommend! This hotel exceeded my expectations. Its location is incredibly convenient for getting around. You can hail a taxi right outside, and there's a bus stop a few steps away with routes that take you to Yongqingfang in four or five stops. Across the street, Haizhu Square has a subway entrance, and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is just a 10-minute walk. All modes of transport are easily accessible, making it perfect for families, especially those with elderly members. The room size was just right, and the direct view of the Pearl River and Canton Tower at night was a huge bonus. Although it's an older 4-star hotel, it's very well-maintained, likely having undergone renovations. The service quality is on par with the White Swan Group – all our requests were understood and promptly addressed. Personally, I believe the most important aspects when choosing a hotel are cleanliness, service, and location, and Huaxia scores full marks on all three. I feel it offers excellent value for money. The hotel breakfast is on the 39th floor. While the selection might be a bit less than a 5-star hotel, it's more than sufficient. If you're a serious food lover and traveling without family, I'd suggest skipping breakfast at the hotel and trying morning tea at nearby Taotaoju, Guangzhou Restaurant, or Fanlou. Xiangqun Restaurant, known for its authentic local home-style dishes, is also very close by. I hope this recommendation helps fellow travelers!

The hotel environment is superb, and the lobby is grand. The room was clean and well soundproofed, so I slept soundly. At this price point, it's definitely the king of value for money! The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The view from the window is pleasant, and the night view is absolutely stunning. The staff were warm and polite; the whole experience was perfect!

This is our second stay at White Swan Hotel, and the experience was even better than the first. This time, I came with my partner and we chose a Deluxe River View room. Room 2105 had an amazing location with a fantastic, expansive view. The room layout was very well-designed; everything felt comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping was prompt, and we had turndown service every evening, so the room was spotless whenever we returned. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent. Although we couldn't get a reservation for the signature morning tea this time, we did manage to book dinner at Yu Tang Chun Nuan, and the food quality was truly outstanding. Even with a long wait, it was absolutely worth it. Right out the hotel's back door is Shamian Park, and across from Shamian is the Link Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I especially love the cocktail buns from Cui Hua Restaurant – they taste just like the bread from my childhood, great value for money. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to visit attractions like Yongqing Fang, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Cultural Park; we walked to all of them. White Swan was Guangzhou's first five-star hotel, opening in 1983. Decades later, the hotel is still meticulously maintained, with every detail reflecting the high standards expected of an established five-star property. It truly lives up to its reputation as a symbol of Guangzhou. I believe that on my next visit to Guangzhou, I will still choose the White Swan Hotel, because a classic endures through generations.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. I initially thought it was an older establishment, but the front desk was amazing. They upgraded us to a newly renovated room from 2024, and the facilities were indeed quite new. While the room wasn't huge, I was very happy with the size and the price, especially considering its city center location. What really stood out was the hotel's service – I genuinely felt they went above and beyond for their guests. If I visit Guangzhou again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

We stayed at Yee Hotel for 3 days. It's conveniently located, about 400 meters from Huangsha Metro Station and across the 7-Eleven. The pedestrian walkway is convenient and surrounded by beautiful, well-maintained old buildings. Walking around is a pleasure. The hotel is modern, unique, and clean. We had a power issue in our room, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. The breakfast area has interesting design. The staff were also very friendly. Ms. Xiao Guo (小郭) and Ms. Xiao Yu (小徐) were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you, Yee Hotel!

I highly recommend this hotel! It's very affordable, yet the service is excellent, and the location is super convenient. You get free 24-hour parking with your stay. Walking around Shamian Island at night is a totally different experience from the daytime crowds – it feels like you've stumbled into a fancy residential garden. Our room was on the 8th floor, facing the inner courtyard garden, and it was wonderfully quiet. Plus, there's an endless supply of bottled water right outside the elevator.

Hygiene: Surprisingly clean and tidy.
Facilities: I had seen some negative reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but my room was actually quite good. The hotel exterior looks old, but the interior must have been renovated.
Environment: You need to swipe your card to use the elevator, which adds to the security.
Service: The front desk staff was very nice and even allowed a late check-out.

Traveling solo with my child, I was looking for a safe and convenient hotel, so I chose this established hotel next to the provincial government. Although it has a bit of an old state-run guesthouse feel, the overall experience was good. The room was quiet, transportation was convenient, there were plenty of restaurants nearby, and ordering takeout was easy. The only drawbacks were the corner window and the awkward bathroom facilities. Given the reasonable price, I didn't have overly high expectations. However, upon checkout, I discovered that the room type I stayed in was different from the one I booked. I reserved a deluxe king room, and while I can accept slight variations in furnishings from the pictures, I cannot accept staying in a room identical to a lower-tier comfort room! What was the point of paying extra then? What's the difference between them? And to top it off, the staff even left a cleaning rag on our table when tidying the room – truly speechless!

This hotel is located in Yuexiu District, not far from the subway station. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing government-affiliated hotel, boasting an amazing environment! I stayed in the Baiyun Building, and the room was very spacious, featuring a sofa and being incredibly quiet. You can choose between a soft or firm mattress, and there were complimentary welcome fruits. The front desk staff's service attitude was excellent! I purchased breakfast separately upon check-in for 78 RMB per person; the food was quite good and offered a decent variety. There's a Tao Tao Ju restaurant nearby that's absolutely delicious, and the hundred-year-old banyan tree outside is particularly beautiful, complete with koi fish and a small waterfall! The hotel also has a gym and swimming pool, both with a nice atmosphere! It's very close to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Yuexiu Park, both within walking distance.

We stayed in 4 two-bed rooms on the 8th floor. The rooms were clean, airy and bright with natural ventilation. Although the hotel is not new it is very well maintained.
The hotel is centrally located. You can walk down to the major pedestrian shopping streets. The metro is a short walk of about 7-10 mins.There are lots of optical shops and children hospitals in the area.The staff were very responsive. We had a small problem with the shower holder which they fixed immediately.
Overall we feel it was excellent value for the price. Definitely recommend for travelers who are looking for a good clean hotel within reasonable budget.

We traveled to Meizhou from Shezhen.
Being from Australia with limited communication we struggled to get a DiDi not realising we were in the wrong town wanting a long trip.

We contacted White Swan hoping they could help us get transport. The lovely ladies Alice and Anna made every attempt to get us a DiDi so late at night and they had a friend who was able to get us from the train station.
Once he was at Meizhou train station and couldn’t locate us. Alice suggested we share location on WeChat. it was then that we all realised we were in the wrong town.

We had accidentally got off the train at the station before Meizhou, Xingningcun

Alice & Anna were so kind and offered to help find us accommodation for the night as it was already midnight.
We didn’t really want to because it will interfere with our schedule but there were no more trains.  The ladies understood and 
said they could ask her DiDi driver friend but no guarantee as he had finished work for the night.
She asked if he would be willing to travel the 1.5 hours to Xingning South Railway station at 1am to come get us.
Which would actually have him driving for 3 hours for us.
It was a late night but we are so grateful that they tried so hard to communicate with us and make us feel safe and cared for. He was wonderful and because of his kindness we reached out to him many times during our stay. The staff especially Anna and Alice were amazing. Thank you for making our first visit to China a memorable experience.

The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable.

Because of the 2024 experience, we have chosen to stay at White Swan Guest House. They continue to go above and beyond, and it was great to reconnect with Alice again.

The hotel is located in Songkou Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The location is excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and even more picturesque on rainy days. 😍😍
The hotel is a renovated historic building, and some of the design elements (such as the windows) retain their nostalgic character. 🏠🏠 The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, sharing detailed information about nearby attractions. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was pouring rain when we checked out, but the front desk staff not only reminded us to drive to the hotel's location, but also held an umbrella for us and helped us load our luggage into the car. Very thoughtful. 🥰🥰🥰

I was so pleased with my stay at the Yuyu Hotel during my trip to Chaozhou! The room was simple yet cozy, and the bedding was clean and soft, making for a wonderfully restful night's sleep. The hotel also had comprehensive amenities, including a laundry room and a gym. The breakfast was plentiful, offering authentic local cuisine. The front desk service was friendly, and the trip was incredibly hassle-free. I'll definitely be back!

Hygiene: Spotlessly clean.

Facilities: The smart home features were a bit finicky. At night, the toilet would often auto-flush and open its lid even when no one was around. The lights also had a sound sensor, turning on with any noise when I was trying to sleep. Furthermore, the shampoo and shower gel bottles were constantly knocked off by the shower hose and were difficult to dispense. These are areas that definitely need improvement.

Facilities (positive aspects): On the positive side, the bathtub was excellent, complete with disposable bath liners and bath salts. Disposable toilet seat covers and other small amenities showed great attention to detail.

Environment (positive aspects): It was also lovely to enjoy a drink and moonlight on the rooftop in the evening. Both the room and balcony were very spacious, as was the bathroom. The toilet was pristine, with no odd stains, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards.

Environment (location): The hotel's location within a pedestrian street was perfect for shopping and sightseeing. However, parking outside the hotel proved to be a major inconvenience.

Service (overall impression): I specifically chose this hotel because of the White Swan brand, and overall, I had a very positive experience. 👍
