Beautiful location near Hai Zhu metro with shops and eateries nearby. Was upgraded to room overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and very helpful with our Taobao deliveries with proper tracking and signing off when collecting. The rooms and hotel were beautifully decorated in traditional Chinese style. Sound proofing in the room was good and had a peaceful night sleep on comfortable beds. The shower only had a handspray,  there was no rainshower probably because the ceiling height in the shower was not very high. The laundry room was clean, spacious with new 4x washer and 4x  dryer, but the gym was small and very old and most of the equipment not useable apart from the dumbbells.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Asia International Hotel. I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The breakfast was extensive and offered a wide variety of options, all while enjoying a beautiful panoramic view, which made the mornings even more special.
The swimming pool was also a great addition—clean, relaxing, and perfect to unwind after a busy day.
What stood out most was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, and communication in English was excellent, which made everything easy and comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

I had heard about the White Swan Hotel for a long time, so when I visited Guangzhou, I immediately booked a room. I chose a river-view room, and the view of the Pearl River from the large window was absolutely delightful and quite atmospheric. The room itself was spacious; although the carpet showed some age, which is understandable given the hotel's history, it was acceptable. The bed and pillows were incredibly soft and conducive to sleep. There were two separate sinks in the bathroom, allowing for independent use without disturbing each other. Both a shower and a bathtub were available, and soaking in the tub while enjoying the view was a lovely experience. The hotel breakfast was a bit monotonous, with fewer Guangzhou specialties than I expected, though the overall variety was still decent. There were no outlets by the bed, but surprisingly, there was a port inside the bedside table. The transportation wasn't particularly convenient; the subway was about 1 kilometer away, shared bikes couldn't access the area, so we mostly relied on taxis. The heated pool was excellent. The hotel even has its own pier, but it was a shame that guests weren't allowed to take a boat trip on the Pearl River. The koi fish in the pond were all plump and healthy. I also tried the morning tea at Yu Tang Chun Nuan, which was good, but the sunflower chicken was a bit too tender for my elderly companion, almost impossible to bite. The 'Hometown Water' design was truly beautiful. The hotel staff cleaned the room twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, which was a nice touch. However, the toilet seat wasn't very convenient for using disposable seat covers, requiring extra cleaning. Also, the trash can in the toilet was poorly designed and made a very loud noise when stepped on. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and being right by Shamian Island added a lot of charm to the stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic – just two subway stops from Guangzhou Station, and right outside the subway exit. Public transportation is also very convenient. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and even upgraded our room. It was clean, hygienic, and had good soundproofing. There's a direct connection to a shopping mall, and plenty of great food options nearby. I'll definitely choose Baiyun Hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

Facilities: The room came with a small sofa and table, and the hairdryer worked great! 👍🏻 The disposable slippers were also quite thick and comfortable. 👍🏻 There was even a small lamp by the bed. 
Cleanliness: The environment was very clean and tidy.
Service: The staff were very dedicated. I even forgot something and they contacted me to help mail it back! 👍🏻
The hotel is super close to Guangzhou Station; you can see it right outside the East Plaza and Metro Exit A. For safety reasons, you need to pick up food delivery from the lobby yourself. The air conditioner made a slight noise, but if you're really tired and just want to sleep, you probably won't notice it.

This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but the first room they assigned me reeked strongly of cigarette smoke. They were nice enough to change it and I rushed out for dinner without checking the room cleanliness. After I came back, I noticed the toilet floor had hair and it looked stained.The hotel also has a very silly headboard design which was very dusty with dust probably dropping on your head as you slept. I was staying for 3 nights and for me cleanliness is paramount. Front desk were very nice and changed room for me again. There was a ***** hair on the toilet floor which the front desk staff Cici picked up...by then I gave up and realised it's a housekeeping issue with the hotel so I cleaned all the counter and table surfaces with my wet wipes. The next day the housekeeper came to clean the headboard which was so dusty she herself seemed shocked. She changed the bed linens and said she'd clean the toilet floor which she evidently didn't cuz when I used a wet tissue it turned up black. The next day a new housekeeper appeared who told me if I had any issues I should tell her directly otherwise she wouldn't get paid for cleaning the room. I really don't know how housekeeping is managed. Are they even trained properly on how to clean a room? The hotel is less than 2 years old and already looks worn out! 
I would've checked out early but felt bad for front desk who tried really hard with service recovery.
The location is also not that great, you'll get stuck in bad traffic if you take Didi on the weekends and Amaps recommended I walk or take the bus to Chen Clan Academy and Yongqingfang even though there's supposedly a metro station nearby.
The indoor smoking issue is also very bad, you can smell cigarette smoke while walking down the corridor at night and it came into my room through the central aircon.
Kudos to the front desk for trying their best to resolve things but I won't recommend this hotel.

Facilities: The facilities are quite old; there are no smart curtains or toilets. The window in this room type is only a small half-pane (see picture), so the natural light isn't great. The lights on the TV wall are very dim, and I initially thought they were broken and wouldn't turn on. The soundproofing is really poor; I could clearly hear conversations from the next room. Traveling with a child, I was really worried about what might be happening next door 😧

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was really subpar. I won't even post pictures, but the showerhead was just... and the corners of the shower stall were, well... The carpet was quite dusty, and there was a strong musty smell in the room. If I wasn't traveling alone with a child and didn't want the hassle, I would have definitely changed hotels.

Environment: The lobby is quite distinctive, and the overall environment within the scenic area is certainly fine. However, the other building, completely dark, looked a bit eerie.

Service: I reported the soundproofing issue to the front desk. Although I didn't get a room change, they did take action and spoke to the neighbors, and it was quieter the second night. The breakfast staff didn't greet guests or offer any service. Aside from the gentleman who handled my complaint in the lobby, no one else smiled or greeted guests. When I arrived with my child and a large suitcase, the elderly man at the door just looked at me without offering any help. I think, since it carries the name of the White Swan Group, it should reflect a certain standard of White Swan service, shouldn't it?

The facilities and bedding aren't top-notch, but Yingbinguan has its own charm. As soon as I arrived at the front desk, the lady's gentle smile made me feel so welcome, like a breath of fresh air. The ceramic cups, which are a rare sight now, brought back memories of my student days. I was pleasantly surprised to find hair ties and clips in the elevator lobby on my floor, which was a super thoughtful touch! You absolutely must try the Sachima at breakfast – it melts in your mouth, full of eggy goodness. There's also ice cream and a variety of drinks. The hotel garden was also stunning; I even saw peacocks! The location is excellent, and parking is convenient. I'll definitely be back to stay again!👍

I have to commend the hotel's service! The customer service patiently answered all my questions, and the room service was proactive and thorough, even taking care of the smallest details. It was a truly comfortable experience. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they promptly resolved any issues that arose. Overall, the service experience was consistently excellent and reliable.

The hotel environment is first-class. The front desk ladies, Xiao Cao and Xiao Qiu, were incredibly thoughtful. They helped us upgrade to a lake-view twin room (I was traveling with my mother this time, and had originally booked a mountain-view room). In the evening, we ordered the 'tangzhuo' fragrant pork set meal at the lakeside restaurant. The pork was very aromatic with no ***** smell, and had a great texture. The fish was also very fresh and delicious. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, for just over 300 a day, including breakfast, the environment and service offer excellent value for money. If you go in the summer, swimming and soaking in the hot springs would be a lot of fun. The air quality here is fantastic, and transportation is convenient with plenty of parking. You can also take the subway and then a short taxi ride from the station.

I brought my mom here based on a travel blogger's recommendation. The blogger mentioned that the front desk helped with luggage upon arrival, but we didn't receive that service. The location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the river after dinner, and it's very convenient to get to the old town. We were given complimentary fruit. The cleanliness was just so-so, and some areas felt a bit dated. My main complaint is that the floors are thin, and the soundproofing from upstairs is poor. We unfortunately had children staying above us who were running barefoot at 11:30 PM, during naptime, and again at 6 AM. I reported it to the front desk staff, hoping they could speak to them, but instead of potentially offending the guests, they offered to move us to another room. I declined because I didn't want the hassle of packing and moving all our luggage. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the second night. This was quite bothersome to me.

The hotel is located in Songkou Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The location is excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and even more picturesque on rainy days. 😍😍
The hotel is a renovated historic building, and some of the design elements (such as the windows) retain their nostalgic character. 🏠🏠 The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, sharing detailed information about nearby attractions. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was pouring rain when we checked out, but the front desk staff not only reminded us to drive to the hotel's location, but also held an umbrella for us and helped us load our luggage into the car. Very thoughtful. 🥰🥰🥰

The room was very spacious with a great ambiance and good soundproofing, so we weren't disturbed during our rest. The service was also very attentive, and we even received small gifts like a fridge magnet and a keychain upon check-in – really thoughtful! 

**Facilities:** Besides being well-equipped, the underground parking garage has charging stations, there are USB ports on both sides of the bed, and the shower room, with its wet-dry separation, even has hooks for hanging clothes. So many thoughtful details! Definitely worth commending and recommending!

**Hygiene:** The entire room was very neat and clean.

**Service:** Extremely thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, everything was attentive. They even specially changed our room because of road construction outside.

Service: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. 👍

Environment: A stylish and trendy hotel, perfect for Instagram photos. 🏨

Hygiene: Spotlessly clean.

Facilities: The smart home features were a bit finicky. At night, the toilet would often auto-flush and open its lid even when no one was around. The lights also had a sound sensor, turning on with any noise when I was trying to sleep. Furthermore, the shampoo and shower gel bottles were constantly knocked off by the shower hose and were difficult to dispense. These are areas that definitely need improvement.

Facilities (positive aspects): On the positive side, the bathtub was excellent, complete with disposable bath liners and bath salts. Disposable toilet seat covers and other small amenities showed great attention to detail.

Environment (positive aspects): It was also lovely to enjoy a drink and moonlight on the rooftop in the evening. Both the room and balcony were very spacious, as was the bathroom. The toilet was pristine, with no odd stains, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards.

Environment (location): The hotel's location within a pedestrian street was perfect for shopping and sightseeing. However, parking outside the hotel proved to be a major inconvenience.

Service (overall impression): I specifically chose this hotel because of the White Swan brand, and overall, I had a very positive experience. 👍
