Let's start with the positives: The location is convenient, just a four to five-minute walk to Haizhu Square subway station and about a fifteen-minute walk to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. You can even see the Canton Tower from the room. The staff provided excellent service, helping me receive and store a package, which I really appreciated. However, there are areas that I feel need improvement. In this day and age, as a four-star hotel, the room facilities are quite outdated. There's no voice control whatsoever; everything has to be done manually. The breakfast was very limited and the taste was just average. There were no Guangzhou-specific breakfast options.

They proactively upgraded our room. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is located in Guangzhou's old town, very close to Baiyun Mountain, and within walking distance to Luhu Park. There are also plenty of dining options conveniently located nearby.

This is an older hotel with excellent facilities and a fantastic location, surrounded by plenty of restaurants. It can get a bit noisy sometimes due to many international guests, and the room felt a little stuffy. The service was decent though.

Having heard about the White Swan Hotel for a long time, I finally got to experience it. It's perfectly situated in the heart of Shamian Island, blending the charm of its vintage European architecture with modern facilities, creating a wonderful East-meets-West ambiance. We stayed in a river view room, which offered breathtaking, expansive views of the Pearl River. The entire hotel feels grand and sophisticated, and all the facilities are impeccably maintained, with no sign of age. The welcoming service at the entrance was also excellent. There's some renovation happening upstairs currently, so you might notice a faint paint smell in the elevators, but it's not a major issue. The outdoor riverside swimming pool is beautiful, with clean and well-maintained water; my kids absolutely loved it. The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring Shamian's European-style streets right outside the door, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Highly recommend!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, I had a very positive experience. The overall condition and service were excellent, and everything met my expectations. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Looking forward to coming back again

Let's get straight to the point.

**Facilities:** I was not satisfied. On the day I checked in, and in fact, in the recent period, there had been a lot of rain in the area, which caused the bedding in this four-star hotel to feel very damp. After I spoke with the staff, they changed the bedding, and it seemed a little better, but it was still damp. I understand the hotel's explanation, but from 2010 to 2016, I lived in Guangzhou, specifically in Fuli Jinxi on Tongfu Middle Road, Haizhu District, and near Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. The reason I'm reviewing this a few days after checking out is that after leaving Guangzhou, I stayed at the Qiuguo Hotel in Shenzhen. To be honest, the hardware facilities there can't compare, but despite similar weather conditions, the bedding wasn't damp, and I slept comfortably.

**Service:** I was not satisfied. During my stay, while doing laundry in the laundry room, I noticed a guest's clothes had many 100 RMB banknotes falling out. There was no one else around at the time, so I called the hotel's customer service. Soon after, a male and female staff member came to the laundry room with a camera. I explained the situation, and then they left. I didn't hear a single word of appreciation or any official statement from them or the hotel.

During my time in Guangzhou, while eating at Senji Claypot Rice on Tongfu Middle Road, there was a sudden downpour. An elderly person in a wheelchair on the side of the road was instantly soaked. A stranger and I ran out to help. The old man was so old he could barely speak, but I distinctly heard him try to say, 'Thank you, handsome young man.'

This was my first time back to Guangzhou in 10 years to revisit and find old memories. Everything I saw felt like it had just happened yesterday, familiar yet slightly unfamiliar. I wish the hotel all the best and 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' (congratulations and prosperity).

I rarely give hotels a full five-star rating, as accommodation is very important to me when I travel, but the Guangzhou Yingbin Hotel truly deserves it. In my opinion, this is the best value-for-money five-star hotel in Guangzhou. Its location is excellent, with many attractions, shopping malls, and restaurants nearby. The hotel also boasts a beautiful internal garden, providing a serene environment. The rooms are elegantly decorated and well-equipped. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

The hotel environment is first-class. The front desk ladies, Xiao Cao and Xiao Qiu, were incredibly thoughtful. They helped us upgrade to a lake-view twin room (I was traveling with my mother this time, and had originally booked a mountain-view room). In the evening, we ordered the 'tangzhuo' fragrant pork set meal at the lakeside restaurant. The pork was very aromatic with no ***** smell, and had a great texture. The fish was also very fresh and delicious. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, for just over 300 a day, including breakfast, the environment and service offer excellent value for money. If you go in the summer, swimming and soaking in the hot springs would be a lot of fun. The air quality here is fantastic, and transportation is convenient with plenty of parking. You can also take the subway and then a short taxi ride from the station.

This hotel in Guangzhou offers excellent value for money. Its location is fantastic, making it really convenient to get to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, and the Zhuhai Night Cruise Pier. The hotel staff are friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful. Plus, for those driving, there's free parking. It's also easy to get to local restaurants for a taste of the delicious food around.

I brought my mom here based on a travel blogger's recommendation. The blogger mentioned that the front desk helped with luggage upon arrival, but we didn't receive that service. The location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the river after dinner, and it's very convenient to get to the old town. We were given complimentary fruit. The cleanliness was just so-so, and some areas felt a bit dated. My main complaint is that the floors are thin, and the soundproofing from upstairs is poor. We unfortunately had children staying above us who were running barefoot at 11:30 PM, during naptime, and again at 6 AM. I reported it to the front desk staff, hoping they could speak to them, but instead of potentially offending the guests, they offered to move us to another room. I declined because I didn't want the hassle of packing and moving all our luggage. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the second night. This was quite bothersome to me.

The hotel is located in Songkou Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The location is excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and even more picturesque on rainy days. 😍😍
The hotel is a renovated historic building, and some of the design elements (such as the windows) retain their nostalgic character. 🏠🏠 The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, sharing detailed information about nearby attractions. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was pouring rain when we checked out, but the front desk staff not only reminded us to drive to the hotel's location, but also held an umbrella for us and helped us load our luggage into the car. Very thoughtful. 🥰🥰🥰

The hotel had a lot of character, and I was genuinely pleased upon check-in. However, my check-out day turned into a huge disappointment. To my astonishment, a power outage caused us to miss breakfast and, consequently, our high-speed train.
This was my first time encountering a hotel that had no emergency power supply. We were traveling with an elderly person in a wheelchair, and without an elevator, it's hard to convey how incredibly challenging it was to get down from the third floor, step by agonizing step.
I'm truly appalled that a hotel could operate without backup power!

The room was very spacious with a great ambiance and good soundproofing, so we weren't disturbed during our rest. The service was also very attentive, and we even received small gifts like a fridge magnet and a keychain upon check-in – really thoughtful! 

**Facilities:** Besides being well-equipped, the underground parking garage has charging stations, there are USB ports on both sides of the bed, and the shower room, with its wet-dry separation, even has hooks for hanging clothes. So many thoughtful details! Definitely worth commending and recommending!

**Hygiene:** The entire room was very neat and clean.

**Service:** Extremely thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, everything was attentive. They even specially changed our room because of road construction outside.
