The Hotel was 20mins drive to Hurghada Marina. It did not have a beach front view as it is a second row to the other Steigenberger complex. The pools and lazy river were super clean and beautiful. The food was average but good compared to all inclusive resorts. 
We were inconvenienced with our room keys as they didn’t work for couple of times and had to wait half an hour outside the room and our room far from the front desk. The room had a steady cooling temperature so don’t expect to get a cooler temperature to your liking. The room didn’t have an iron or iron board. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang our clothes. There was no tissue box. No laundry bag. The elevator stopped working and didn’t get repaired for two days.

From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of peace and luxury. It’s rare to find such consistently outstanding service.

The rooms are elegant, spacious, and spotless, with everything you need for total comfort. The resort offers so many relaxing spots – from the private beach areas to the stunning poolside – perfect for unwinding with a drink in hand and just enjoying the calm vibes.

The all-inclusive package truly meant we didn't have to leave the hotel at all. Our stay was incredibly comfortable; snacks and drinks were replenished daily, and there were evening performances with unlimited beverages. The beach was right downstairs, and the hotel offered a wide range of entertainment options. It's definitely a place worth staying for several days, especially if you're traveling with kids – it's exactly where you should be for a vacation! We checked in on Valentine's Day, and the romantic atmosphere was absolutely perfect!

The all-inclusive hotel only accepts adults aged 18 and above, so there won't be any noisy children running around. It's suitable for adults who like a quiet and relaxing vacation. You can also enjoy the facilities and restaurants at the other two hotels in the same group, but the best restaurant is still the one inside Lifestyle itself.

Steigenberger Resort Luxor | My Honest Review 🌴

My stay at the Steigenberger Resort Luxor was, overall, very pleasant and offered great value for money. The hotel's general ambiance is excellent; the public areas are well-maintained, and the garden, pool, and the atmosphere by the Nile are all very comfortable. For a five-star hotel in Luxor, I believe its overall facilities and environment are quite competitive.

The room was comfortable and clean. Although some of the facilities show their age, they are still well-maintained. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, saving time when visiting attractions like Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple.

I also tried the hotel's Lebanese restaurant. The dishes were generally good, but one shrimp dish was quite disappointing. The texture of the shrimp was noticeably tough and dry after grilling, with almost no juice. It didn't live up to the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel restaurant at that price point. I don't have an issue with using frozen shrimp per se, but the key is that the final quality didn't match the price.

I reported this issue to the restaurant manager at the time, but the subsequent resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory. Given that the restaurant is not cheap and positions itself as a five-star hotel restaurant, I believe guests are willing to pay more for the ambiance and service, but they should also receive ingredient quality and culinary expertise that match the price.

However, I must give special praise to the waiter, Abdallah. His service attitude throughout the meal was excellent – enthusiastic, polite, and very patient. Even after we reported the issue with the dish, he maintained his excellent service, which prevented the overall dining experience from becoming terrible because of that one dish. His service truly deserves commendation. 👏

Putting aside the minor hiccup at the restaurant, the hotel's stay experience itself was very good. With its pleasant environment, comprehensive facilities, and great value for money, it remains a hotel I would highly recommend in Luxor. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to the quality of its dining and the details of customer complaint handling in the future, and also acknowledge employees like Abdallah who diligently serve guests. This would make the overall experience even more complete. 🌅

This resort was AMAZING! 5/5! What a true gem. The hotel staff are incredible and upgraded my room to a Nile view. The management really know how to treat you and make you feel special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long hot day in the Egyptian sun. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Highly recommend this hotel

The location so nice to had a vacation but the price over Eid vacation was too high, service in general good but room service so bad and nothing there you need to ask them for everything like shower gel, towels, slippers, dental kit and all items, and they cannot handle the load of Eid.
Rooms so small not fit for small family even and we took the classic room with king bed and balcony.

The beach 8 minutes walk from the hotel since it’s shared with another hotel which is bad thing since you need to walk 8 minutes to reach the next hotel and another 8 minutes to reach the beach.

The food is another story it’s really bad bad bad and seems there is cutting cost or something i am not sure since the chef and stuff was nice and managing well.

Book without food it will be better there is near by Mall you can eat and buy your stuff it’s 5 minutes walk far in the car.

There is no activities daily while they informed us there are on daily bases.

Parking available inside the village in front of your room.

Book online better than the hotel prices.

We booked a two-bedroom suite for three days over the New Year's holidays. As a New Year's gift from the hotel, they upgraded us to a two-story penthouse! It had 5 bedrooms and a massive living room. A big thank you to the hotel for that. The hotel itself shares the building with another 5-star hotel, and the neighboring hotel seems to have a slightly better property.

The Al Hamra hotel grounds are small, with two heated pools, a bar, and a gym. We opted for breakfast, which was quite decent, but if you arrive late, the selection is meager (we're late risers). The beach is about a 100-meter walk across a huge stretch of sand. There were sun loungers and water sports available, but no beach bar. Nobody minded though; we'd just grab canned beer from the poolside bar and take it to the beach.

Al Hamra Mall, with a grocery supermarket and food court, is about a 20-minute walk away.

Overall, I'm happy with our stay. The only downside was the lack of basic kitchenware in the kitchen, just glasses.
