This was my first stay at Shilla Stay Mapo. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and it's conveniently located near the subway station. You can also order delivery, and the hotel provides a table for riders to leave the food boxes on — which is very thoughtful.

Had a very pleasant stay at Shilla Stay Guro. The hotel is not located in the main tourist area, but that's actually not a problem. There is a Subway Line 2/Green station right across the street, making it easy to get to central Seoul. One of the highlights of the neighborhood is Boramae Park, which is just a short walk away and is a wonderful place to relax, take a walk, or simply sit and read a book.

The service was excellent. Sophia, Chloe, and the gentleman working at the front desk on Friday (10 July) afternoon—I assume those are their English names, as shown on their name tags—made both the check-in and check-out processes smooth and efficient. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping the room clean and tidy every day. The breakfast restaurant hosts throughout my stay from July 6 to July 10 were also consistently welcoming and friendly. 

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room is on the smaller side, but it is functional and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

My only suggestion is that the room photos on Trip.com should better match the actual room. The room I stayed in had a different layout and setup from the one shown in the booking photos, which created different expectations before arrival. Updating the photos to reflect the actual room would make the listing more accurate for future guests.

Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

My stay at the Shilla Stay Samsung COEX Center was excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect, especially for business trips and shopping, with easy access to COEX Mall, restaurants, cafés, and the subway. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with great city views and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

What truly stood out was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Check-in was smooth, and everyone was always helpful and welcoming. The breakfast selection was also very good, with a nice mix of Korean and international options.

The hotel offers great value for money considering the quality, cleanliness, and prime location in Gangnam. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul for business or leisure.

👍 = convenient location, surrounded with a lots of local goods and near to bus stop&metro stations. Walking distance (15mins) to myeongdong streets. Full sets of L'occitant for use. 

👎 = central control air conditioning, the control panel in the room won't adjust based on your desired temperature. Mostly temps will be at 23 ~ 25 degrees celcius, one night it went up to 26 🔥 we had difficulty to sleep at first.. 
Only plastic cups prepared, which were not sustainable and not standard, we bought a set of cups by ourselves for hot drinks.

The location in Seocho-gu is incredibly convenient. It's right on the main road, and Uber drops you off easily at the back entrance. Just 20 meters from the back exit is a McDonald's, and the main street offers plenty of shopping and dining options. There's even a Haidilao Hot Pot not far away in Seocho. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping did a great job daily. Highly recommended!

REALLY loved the location of the hotel, very convenient to all places (gangnam is just 3 bus stops away), except hongdae. The limousine to airport is just right outside the hotel. The hotel is situated between 3 subway stations and the distance to all subways stations is either walkable (up slope or down slope) or reachable by bus. BUT there are many bus services available to reach those subway stations or even direct buses to attractions. The outside view of the hotel is really gorgeous.

There's also a convenient store beside the hotel and opposite the hotel (cross road) in the alley, there are many many many local food options.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Getting here from the airport was a breeze; the bus goes directly to the stop right below the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, close to all the attractions. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I noticed a wonderful scent. The front desk staff were incredibly polite, professional, warm, and very patient. The room was spotless, and the bedding was impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, being on a higher floor, the view was exceptional!

Our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, so after searching through all the hotels in Jeju, we booked this one for a two-night stay.

Pros: Away from the city center, beachfront with ocean views, great for tide pooling, laundry room available, nice staff, small convenience store in the lobby, and the pool doesn't require kids to wear life vests (huge plus!).

However, the breakfast was a letdown (wouldn't recommend the buffet), and the room was incredibly small.

Let me start with the most shocking part: the shampoo at Shilla Stay is absolutely amazing, beyond words! Our hair is usually frizzy, and we've tried countless shampoos and hair oils, but none have ever left our hair completely frizz-free, smooth, and shiny like this one. It's a life-changing shampoo that even makes one feel gentler. I was moved to tears! It completely surpasses brands like Kérastase, L'Occitane, and Furterer. My daughter was so impressed, she decided not to wash her hair again until school starts, just to keep it this way! Unfortunately, the front desk told me they don't sell it, and I couldn't find it online either. It's such a shame; how can a shampoo be so good? Shilla Stay could really boost their profits just by selling this shampoo – it's that incredible! 

Other points: The location is convenient, with a duty-free shop right next door. The hotel is clean and generally good. But honestly, nothing else matters as much as that life-changing shampoo. I really hope they'll start selling it in the lobby, just like Atour and All Seasons hotels do 😭!!! I would definitely come back to Jeju just for this shampoo.

The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and very comfortable. I had a quiet night's rest. The front desk service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive. The breakfast fruit was fresh and delicious. The front desk is on the 5th floor, and there's a convenience store on the first floor, which is great for shopping.

We were two adults and one child, three ladies in total, and stayed in a family room with one double bed and one single bed. The room matched the pictures and felt more spacious than expected. We stayed for two nights, and after coming back from our outing on the second day, the room was spotlessly clean. Downstairs, on the ground floor, there's a 24-hour E-Mart convenience store, so you don't even need to go outside. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The room was newly renovated, and the facilities and furniture were quite good. Toiletries like toothbrushes, shower caps, and slippers were provided. The shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap were all from L'Occitane. The only minor flaw was the limited number of power outlets, and they were a bit loose. Overall, we were very satisfied 👍.
